I asked him if he was Craig Mack. He said yes and smiled. So I said nice to meet you. Then I proceeded to tell him where the Jamaican spots were. So he could get a beef pattie. RIP Craig.

Craig actually worked at my high school in South Carolina for two years in 2009-2010. He was a mentor for a special needs child name James. Craig was the only person who knew how to calm him down and he loved Craig.
It's crazy his health declined so rapidly. He was fit and very cool during those years.
Rest in peace 4Ever, Craig Mack! 😔🙏🏾💔🕊️
Oh wow 🥲💙🥰💯
Beautiful story
That’s wonderful! Here’s one for you that adds to the type of person Mack was. Working on the rap movie ‘The Show’ we were shooting in Philly. We all apparently had the same call time and all stayed at the same hotel. The elevator is stopping on every floor and each time the ‘who’s who’ in the rap game piles on. It’s early morning so ain’t nobody saying nothing. Next stop doors open and who standing there eating an apple…Craig Mack. He steps on the elevator and proceeds to address every single person on the now crowed elevator with a pound and a “good morning” He gave me a pound, I smiled and said, “my man!” The humility inside of that moment spoke volumes about him as a person.
I remember this! Used to shoot around with us in the Gym and talked trash if you missed too many shots lol
I was actually the last person to interview Craig in South Carolina in 2018 just months before he passed, his health was declining rapidly but his spirit was still youthful. I think he was at peace in South Carolina, despite being apart of a wicked, unhealthy situation..
You know my brother then? Alvin? It’s crazy how many people on this video have passed including Biz and Alvin 😢

It's pretty ironic how Bad Boy and Deathrow were beefing back in the mid 90s considering that both Puffy and Suge are snakes to the artists who were signed to each of their record labels. They were both similar in a lot of ways.
The way they both used the fame, as well as deaths of their biggest artist…shady.
Puff was way worse than suge to his artists
At least Puffy didn’t build bad boy on street and gang culture
Right I seen a video of Daz Krupt Danny Boy and Eric Williams talking about death row and how shit started getting weird after Dre left and their money started looking funny it was a ad for a documentary that never came out it’s funny how Eric Williams was apart of death row but you can’t find any interviews of him or him even being with the label.
@@DonTheking Badboy was started with drug money and used violence to get there way ... just like deathrow . Suge just got publicised after pacs murder . Puff always hid it well . @@nmw654 it's literally both traumatized from the experience with Diddy and lost afterwards.
@@FaithandNova you said literally as it’s a fact and you were present, you assume Diddy did something to them. The capitalizing on artists talents with little pay is common in the industry no matter how wrong you think it is. It just happens to be Diddy. He is good at getting acts who don’t know how to navigate the industry and aren’t that top tier to be sought after by multiple labels. Once they are done with him or he’s done with them, they have nothing. That’s music industry mess, not just Bad Boy mess. You see The Lox and 112 kept going after, don’t blame it all on Diddy because others couldn’t keep going and they fought to leave and took some control. They also had talent that others wanted. It’s not to say artist such as Craig are not good, but some people need a machine to blow them up, not just talent. Imagine Mary’s career if Puff didn’t work with her early on, may not be the same.
This is FACTS. Diddy makes male upcoming artists engage in sexual acts
Craig Mack carried Bad Boy on his back at one point just like Mase and Biggie....Diddy used these talented men to get him to the top and stepped on all his other artist that put him on the map.... It's sad the way he used Craig and he died with nothing I know It had to be hard going from one of the biggest names in music to a non factor and everybody u thought was on ya side turned their back on u 😩😩😪😪
Yeah! I think I heard at one point he was a janitor and after all that fame. So sad 😥
😢😢😢
What the f#ck do you think a record producer/music executive is suppose to do? They are suppose to exploit the talent that their artist have, get the best and most from their artists..
Look what Berry Gordy did for Diana Ross.. Clive Davis did for Whitney Houston.. Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis did for Janet Jackson..
Stop blaming the producers and record companies and put the blame on the artist(s). If an artist isn't motivated and or lacks talent to get to the top and stay there, its not the record labels fault. If an artist is truly talented, another record label will snatch them up quick..
Ask yourself this: why wasn't Craig snatched up by another label? Why didn't Craig write and produce for others? Why didn't Craig form his own label?
Y'all really think because Craig had 1 hit on the Hip Hop/Rap charts that his career was going to be on easy street?
Who wrote that hit?
Who produced that hit?
Who paid for the music video and recording session?
Who paid for the promotion of that hit?
Who owns the publishing rights?
A visible artist, in this case Craig Mack is just one piece of the puzzle, there are others involved. One damn minor hit record does not make a career..
All because of one 🦀🐍

@Dr. Who? the cult wouldn't allow it .
I didn't know Biggie didn't like Craig but I'm not surprised. Being on Bad Boy sounds like it's highly competitive to get Diddy's attention. I remember when Mary J stop doing music with Diddy. She said that his attention was more on his artists (Faith Evans) and she felt put on the back burner. She then saw how Faith was "copying her style" and cut him off.
lol dig deeper and tell the whole story. Faith was brought in to write for Mary and sang background on Mary's album and She demo'd the songs so naturally her vocals were on the track when Mary got the songs. When a song is demo'd and the demo is produced how the producer wants the vocals, the artist simply records the lead and bgv exactly as heard, which is why Jon B.'s first single sounds like Babyface. Tony Rich, sounds like Babyface. Both of their sounds (Mary & Faith) were shaped and molded by Puff. The problem with Puff and Mary was Mary wasn't signed to Puff's label yet he worked as producer of her debut album which is a conflict of interest when you have your own label and artist waiting for their time.
@@RobandSijay I don't need to dig deeper. This is what Mary said MANY times. So you dig deeper. She said that she felt that Diddy wasn't giving her the attention she needed and she felt like Faith Evans copied her style. I read Faith's book and she said that she felt they had her looking like something she was not. She use to dress like a teacher or church lady. And in some of her old photos that is true. So I'm going off what these ppl are saying. Not on how things go in the studio.

A few of us got to know him ... those who loved hip hop knew he was Craig Mack for real especially when we heard his voice. Avatars in SL gave a very moving tribute to him upon his passing. But watching this video I never knew he had been through so much and then to die so young. RIP
Wow, Craig may have not been around for a long time but he was definitely a legend. Can’t ever forget about him. I remember when he first came out, he just brought something really new to the game; his look, his sound, the song. He was really big.
In order to become wealthy like diddy, you have to step on alot of ppl.
It doesn’t have to be so
@@samuelakinfenwa6532 really rich
Bless his soul ❤️🖤💚 I know it's been a while but his song "flava in your ear" is still ringing in my ears may he rest in peace and may his family live in peace ❤️🖤💚
Watching these videos about former Bad Boy artists I've come to the conclusion that if you wanna find Jesus later in life, just sign with Bad Boy Records 😅😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂
Wtf 😂😂😂😂
😂🤣😂💀
Sad Facts! 💯👀💅🏾😩✨😅
That's show business 🤷🏾
It’s how you become rich, you use everything and everyone as a stepping stone.
We Love You Craig Mack. R.I.P
Your the reason why Bad Boy blew up!!
Flavor in Your Ear Remix is still one of my all time favorites, shame how this man went out, R.I.P.
“Don’t be mad UPS is hiring” 🎶🎶thanks for uploading this! ❤️
After dealing with Puffy can you blame his former artists for turning to religion?
Biggie hated on Craig Mack for no reason… That’s the part that tripped me out…
Craig Mack will always be
a legend.
Flavor in ya' ear
is one of the Best Hiphop songs ever.
Regardless of any naysayers outside of the culture.
Man I really wish he had his health in check. Really not sure what makes a person refuse medical intervention even due to religion.
Lack of money 💰 could be a reason
@@fatonyalmitchell3281 true but I meant more in this case where he was more than likely able to but got sucked into a cult and just refused. He was aware his health was failing but did nothing.
@@VENGEFULHEXX oh ok ‼️u see 🙈 your view point . Thanks 😊 for sharing 👍
@@VENGEFULHEXX because they believe in these man made deities so much they think there going to get cured by a spook in the sky may he rip
I honestly think he was just tired and didn't care anymore
We ALL have struggles in life, & we can't deal with them by ourselves, that's why we NEED Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to deliver us from evil and to lead us into His Kingdom, Amen.
After u party with puff u need to turn to any relegion...thats tuff...💀
True Story: I was an on air intern back in the day and the artist that visited was Craig. He asked me for my number, and actually called my home. We talked one time and I never heard from him again. I cam say he was really nice. That's all I remember about him.
Sleep well Craig Mack. You'll be missed bruh. Sleep well
Flavor in ya ear my joint man 👍🏾💯
Lmaooooooooooo
Craig also taught DDSN children in the school district in St.George South Carolina. He kept a super low profile here in SC. Many didn't know he had been down here for years until news of the religious compound hit the mainstream. His Co-worker Mrs. Stevefinkel described him as humble and caring with the children and only spoke a little about his time as a music artist.
Yes he cared for that kid
I didn't know Craig mack....but I cried for hours the day he died. This situation was so sad and tragic R.I.P to Craig mack...he deserved better than this.
Very very few rappers will make their way to heaven. I am so glad brother mack answers the call of jesus that day with the gun on his lap....and now he's in heaven singing and dancing with the angels. So proud of you.
Puffy screwed over just about every artist he worked with. For those of you who actually still read, check out the book: Dancing With The Devil “how puff burned the bad boys of hip hop” by Mark Curry. Frightening eye opening book exposing Diddy and what he did in the industry. I read it some 7 or 8 years ago and it’s an amazing read 👍🏾
Can I find it on Amazon?? 📓
Craig was a beast!! That voice of his was fire 🔥!! I think he was done dirty.
Biggie will go down as one of the greatest MC’s to ever do it , but Craig Mack put BB on the map and it was wrong how Puff did him. Take that, Take that. Puff the Don King of Music
Paul here from Nigerian , I don't think Don King can be compared to no talent puffy. Puffy is way more evil. I think he has the devil's personal number.
Love these stories so much!!
A lot of things had come and gone throughout this mans career but one thing that stayed with him was that hair cut. Rip legend 🕊 ❤️💪🏾
I'm from Craig's area and he was a very polite man.RIP
#longislandsown
"You won't be around next year..." It wasn't prophetic. It was ironic. He wasn't saying the line to himself. He was saying it to other artists, but then it happened to him.
Please give us your version of P diddy's name again. That made my day. 😂😂😂😂
Craig Mack also collaborated with every artist like Veronica, Boyz II Men, G-Dep, and many more!!
I forgot about the remix he did with Brownstone
P. Diddy picks up funeral tabs like most people pick up restaurant tabs
Yessss I love your mini documentries
They always turn to religion and righteousness when they’re done with all that stuff
Sometimes its drugs - see DMX (RIP)
It’s no different than a child star who feels lost when they don’t have fame any longer, they feel lost and like they have nothing (like when in prison). Drugs or religion are the usually culprits when you feel every hint else is useless.
Flava in your ear will ALWAYS BE A BANGER!!!!!💪🏽💪🏽
Can you please do one on Shaunta Montgomery, The Firm/Foxy Brown, Gina Thompson, Shyheim, Rah Digga, just to name a few
Wow I love this channel, been binge-watching all your videos. Please keep them coming! 🙏❤️
Everyone Puff touches dies, goes to prison or just leaves the business broke. In the 90's and early 2000's Puff (Diddy) lived a crazy life and his talent runs to the church to get clean.
@@blue9multimediagroup I doubt you can name one artist who is enjoying massive success.
@@bjt81366 jadakiss and styles p had plenty of success after leaving bad boy. there you go.
@@romulus_ That's kind of my point. "After". But yes, they're not in jail or dead so there's that.
@@bjt81366 that's not the point you made. you said everyone's in jail, dead, or broke. then you asked if someone could name artists to the contrary of that claim. so yeah, there are a few. and nah, and the lox were pretty successful on bad boy.
