Great tut i just made one and its great the only thing i changed was i addad interfacing for the bag to hold better shape. I used quite hard interfacing. It works like a dream .
I recently used a purchased Butterick pattern to make a scrap catcher. That was a big mistake, should have looked here first. This one is so much easier and faster to make. I will certainly make another one using this technique for my other machine.
Nice tutorial, but for newbies it would be helpful to say set for 4 thread, plus your width and stitch length. Sergers could use a laser like on the Destiny.
I wish you would have showed us how to “serge in the round” . I know that’s confusing for beginners ( like myself) and that your using a 4 thread over edge threading. Otherwise I liked your tutorial..thanks!
