I used to have those same vertical marks, it happened everywhere I used tabs on baltic birch plywood. I finally was told by someone to switch from Climb milling for that 2D Contour cut to Conventional milling. I did and no more tool marks!

I've always called these 'whitness marks'. Due to the browning of the wood I'd say the tool is dwelling there. Are you plunging the tool on the spot? Need to use a lead in and lead out and ramp the Z during those maneuvers.

Nice tip about the corner mode, Lars. Learned something new, again!

I noticed something with the lead-in moves, specifically when you have "multiple finishing passes" checked. The lead-in moves are an arc on only the initial pass. Entry point on subsequent passes is just a series of short G01 moves. Something to keep in mind if you definitely want an arc move on your finishing lead-in.

I also realized that changing the lead in angle from 90 degrees to 0 degrees helps moving in smoothly into the material.

Routers flex, so give some low angle lead for the tool to develop full pressure before the actual finish pass is in a critical noticed spot.

Wish there was a way to add corner radii in the CAM side without modifying the model

You could use the new derive function from your original model. BUT, don’t tell anyone you heard it from me...I saw something from the development team that could answer your prayers 🤫😊 patience

Usually, or rather most notably, had this problem when using Tabs but solved it by using a combination of _Multiple Finishing Passes, Repeat Finishing Pass_ and _Finish only at Final Depth_ like in this video ruclips.net/video/xKqN-Q32vlo/видео.html where I did a Grill Table for my Mom.
