Dear non-religious atheist… what standards do yo have regarding the taking of another human life? How do you justify against it? What is the basis? As a N-R A, you have no standards of living imposed on you, of life… so your beliefs are basically meaningless regarding imposing them on another…because the belief that it is wrong to take a life (another’s or your own) is basically imposed on you… I think humanity basically falls apart without God’s law…and I think that is only because He is real…whether we come at this philosophically or scientifically (I’ve got plenty of scientist pals who study the depths of the universe and it imposes on them the reality of a Divine Architect, believe it or not.) @@professorvoluck9311 Hi, I appreciate your opinion and thoughts. Thank you. However, for me, after watching several family members pass from terminal illnesses or sudden medical emergency, I do NOT want that for me. I realize this is a personal choice. I believe each of us has the right to ask and follow through with what we believe is best for our own lives. Watching the tumors take over my sister who passed from Melanoma in '89 or my mom who had a Berry Aneurysm in her brain stem rupture at 47 to the old age of my father at 96 who is now been slowly dying over 8 years but so bitter and angry and untrusting of everyone, I just don't see that for myself. My choice, currently. But, who knows, this may change as I don't know what my future brings.
@Penelope L Goss I was just clarifying the message of the video for the commenter, but those are not my beliefs. While I'm 100 percent on board with death with dignity for anyone that feels they are better off. I'm not with Faith. It's like believing in Santa clause. I get it why people do it I do... I'm not knocking it at all..
We have to remember we are just passing thru this life. Jesus took the sting out of death and for the believers we go from life to life eternal. We will see them again and what a welcome it will be. I like to know WHY God never answers us.. Why does he take wonderful, genuine people away from Us! Yet ignorant, selfish, narcissists, stay here to share the air i breath.
Blackmonday GOD does answer prayers but we must always remember that GOD'S will always takes president over our own. If you lost a loved one, and are angry that GOD didn't spare that person as you asked, perhaps the reason is because GOD actually loved them more! We are all HIS children and HE loves each and every one of us. We are each given so much time on this earth. We don't know when our tasks are completed nor do we know when our time is up but GOD knows. Imagine how GOD must have felt to sacrifice His only son in order to save all of us! However, the saving isn't automatic We must ask Jesus to forgive our sins, accept that He is the Son of God, that He died and rose on the 3rd day. Do our best to turn away from our sins and live our lives the best we can to be worthy of the sacrifice that was made for us. It's not an easy road but once you take that step, you will be amazed at the overwhelming love you will feel! This message is my prayer for you. GOD Bless You. Amen
Okay so everything you just said is based solely on your personal religious beliefs. You have the right to believe in whatever god you want and base your personal choices on that religion. However, in the US specifically, the first statement in the Bill of Rights prevents you from dictating my personal life due to your religion. Can you imagine how out raged Christians in the US would be if a Muslim politician tried to make a law based on their religion?
Prayer combines many known phonomeon together, which actually produces real world results. However, these results are practical results such as establishing a goal, articulating desires, focus, envisioning the future, law of attraction. Prayer does not cause magic to take place. Limbs will not be re-grown. The dead will not be raised. Sickness will not be cured via magic from God. However prayer will help with many other known phonomeon, especially emotionally. But be aware, prayer will not produce magic.

God bless all of you. To all the people who take their lives calling it death with dignity, I pray you watch this and see what death with dignity really is.❤️🙏
I don't know why people get hung up with the word dignity. It's just an alliteration. Death where we reduce needless human suffering, is that better? Even Jesus did not suffer this long. He did six hours on the cross, and of course the beatings and humiliations. But still, I have been suffering for months and I want out. I have alsready lost my dignity, now I want the suffering to end. What more of Christian virtue is there?
Of course! Think of all the COVID patients with Prayer Chains running across the country sure in their faith a miracle was coming. Didn’t go well did it??? I am sorry for this terrible loss and suffering his dear family is going through. But the Lord has been out of the miracle business for around 2000 yrs.
It's a fair weather friend who only loves you in times of blessing. If we continue to trust Jesus when the world is throwing the worst on us, that is the worthy sacrifice of thanksgiving. The most worthy offering. God restores the health the world takes away. When we go to live with Jesus in our glorified bodies, it will be forever.
In the U.S., everyone has a right to approach illness and death as they think best. The Thomms did that. Many of us consider medical aid-in-dying an option, when it seems clear to medical staff and to ourselves that death is near. That is also a spiritual approach. Medical aid-in-dying may be accompanied by joy, which the Thomms' funeral certainly seemed devoid of. When a person chooses medical aid-in-dying, all the goodbyes that need to be said can been said, everything is in place, and survivors are more prepared, after healthy grieving (NOT toxic grieving!) to move on.
None of what happened after the Garden Of eden was Gods will. What about Samson though. After he told his secret, was captured and eyes gouged out. Then the day came when he was preforming in the Colosseum. He cried out to God for just once more to be given strength to take vengeance on his enemy, and to let him perish as well. You can actually make the argument that God helped him commit suicide as well as kill over 3,000 philistines.

Dear non-religious atheist… what standards do yo have regarding the taking of another human life? How do you justify against it? What is the basis?
As a N-R A, you have no standards of living imposed on you, of life… so your beliefs are basically meaningless regarding imposing them on another…because the belief that it is wrong to take a life (another’s or your own) is basically imposed on you…
I think humanity basically falls apart without God’s law…and I think that is only because He is real…whether we come at this philosophically or scientifically (I’ve got plenty of scientist pals who study the depths of the universe and it imposes on them the reality of a Divine Architect, believe it or not.)
I’m not imposing this on you but hoping you’ll rethink this position because, philosophically, scientifically, your position ultimately falls apart… imposing a question on your soul, if you will :) Peace and happiness to you.
The only thing praying does is releve the pain and guilt of the person praying. It can and never will cure cancer.

What a story of faith.
Praise God for your faith after all HE is the great physician ❤
Beautiful
Godless u Nick Thomm and your family. im praying for them.
Beautiful ❤❤….Wow now that is courage!
God lives everywhere and in everyone. The fact that some choose to believe suicide is wrong is their business, but I do not believe that. I think no one can experience the mental effect of continuous pain. I helped my dying husband suffer through 5 yrs of cancer treatment,, necessitated by malpractice of his doctor. Judge not....
Amazing man!
Amazing story!!
What amazing beautiful human beings.
"God will be there and we will be fine" - when are people going to wake up and smell reality?
A think when you have a loving family around you it helps and off course your faith rest easy
May the good Lord give him peace and help him move on to the next level.

Faith ... it’s what sees us through this life, which is but a speck on the timeline of our journey until we go home for eternity. Thank you for sharing your inspirational story with us.
I don’t know what to say but God bless all of you and Rip Nick. Thank you for sharing
BEAUTIFUL,.I Pray that My Faith will be strengthened. The Love that shines through is so remarkable.. Rest in Peace and Love, and may Perpetual Light Shine upon Him. AMEN.🙏💖🌹
how was this "Death with Dignity" if he was suffering and in pain and discomfort? What control, did he take personally or his family to ensure he did not suffer or languish in pain?
They are opposed to it and believe only God has the right to take one’s life.
If that belief is what brought them comfort...
I grew up believing, I was young, yet over the many many years, I do not believe, I nave not the belief of a mustard seed. I am 100% Atheist. I believe its ALL fiction, Magical Thinking.
I do believe in the faith, love, passion in this family.
@@professorvoluck9311 Hi,
I appreciate your opinion and thoughts.
I 100% support dying with dignity and I was a supporter of Dr. Kevorkian that showed courage and compassion to those that could not take anymore suffering. Penelope, you and I are on the same page.

Rest in heaven nick

Wonderful perseverance, what does that mean?

Some seniors who are dying have no one to burden with the expense & care, maybe for them it’s not just a way to get out of suffering.
heartbreaking 🙏

God bless Nick's soul!!!
It won't be long until we are all together again with our Christian loved ones who have gone on before. Jesus's return is very close and when the rapture happens, Nick will be standing at Jesus's right hand, waiting for you!! Can you imagine the reunion for us all on that day!!! WOW!!!!
Rest in peace, God is with you. Who did the beginning and ending of the sound track?
Can you do this for depression?
While I'm 100 percent on board with death with dignity for anyone that feels they are better off. I'm not with Faith. It's like believing in Santa clause. I get it why people do it I do... I'm not knocking it at all..
We have to remember we are just passing thru this life. Jesus took the sting out of death and for the believers we go from life to life eternal. We will see them again and what a welcome it will be. I tell you Im so glad to be a daughter of Zion knowing I have no end. Im eternal right now. We that are followers of the Living God shall not know death. All of heaven rejoices when a saint comes home. ❤️
Thanks, well put 🙏
Because a book told you and your own delusional belief system.
That’s “Love” Nd trusts God . Faith …..We are a gift …. Understanding that we must accept Death with dignity.
Things will be, will be. Gods will be done. We pray but God always knows what’s best and our end is his decision. Good things always come about via tragedies. Always.

Beautiful life, beautiful death. My condolences 💐.
beautiful death!!!!!! SUFFERED for 15 years!!!!
@@forthefunofit3230 I hope you can learn the value of suffering… it is *not* meaningless… i can tell you’re suffering right now… Being Catholic you can learn so many secrets of the spiritual life. Life is not all materialist.
I like to know WHY God never answers us..
Why does he take wonderful, genuine people away from Us!
Yet ignorant, selfish, narcissists, stay here to share the air i breath.
There is no God. Obvious logical answer.
Blackmonday
GOD does answer prayers but we must always remember that GOD'S will always takes president over our own.
However, the saving isn't automatic
We must ask Jesus to forgive our sins, accept that He is the Son of God, that He died and rose on the 3rd day.
Very strange that the radio presenter did not bother to check on his faithful worker who had to leave due to illness. But maybe i heard it wrong ?
I will die when I want to die. I need no permission from anyone to do so and i will not die old.
❤️🙏
As far as I know this wasnt an aggressive brain tumor. So sad that he died, but he is with Jesus.
U dont know where the fcuk he is.
I thought this was going to be about assisted suicide
Prayer combines many known phonomeon together, which actually produces real world results. However, these results are practical results such as establishing a goal, articulating desires, focus, envisioning the future, law of attraction. Prayer does not cause magic to take place. Limbs will not be re-grown. The dead will not be raised. Sickness will not be cured via magic from God. However prayer will help with many other known phonomeon, especially emotionally. But be aware, prayer will not produce magic.
Rest with the holy angels 😇
Are you confused? No one can avoid death.
The proper drug should be as available as alcohol, processed food and cigaretts. Why not? Can anyone explain the difference between these suicide substances?
Los milagros no existen...y menos en una realidad tan nanipulada...que convierte la enfermedad en un negocio.
Thank God he married a loyal friend and a wife.
Why post these?
Omg gods will..oh boy
None of what happened after the Garden Of eden was Gods will. What about Samson though. After he told his secret, was captured and eyes gouged out. Then the day came when he was preforming in the Colosseum. He cried out to God for just once more to be given strength to take vengeance on his enemy, and to let him perish as well. You can actually make the argument that God helped him commit suicide as well as kill over 3,000 philistines.
@@silverhorder1969 None of it really happened, the bible is nothing more than a book of rather boring fairytales.
@@rebeccajayne2707 Fairytales backed up by many archaeological discoveries. The thing about God is he doesn’t force you to believe in any of it. You’re free to turn your back. Can you imagine any world tyrant rolling that way? Men who desire to have Godlike power would never relinquish that kind of force if they had it. It’s what separates evil mankind from God..
@@silverhorder1969 God is NOT real! There is absolutely no tangible evidence to prove otherwise!
The bible is a fictitious as a Disney Princess movie. This whole idea that “lack of God” in your life is the reason mankind is so terrible!
Fact is, humans are just vile creatures. It’s not anything to do with a fictional character. It’s down to the people and people only.
