    Good Shit! Any cringe makes it real man. To many people sound like they wrote it down and rehearsed it for about 3 hours.

      You are so darn right! It does seem that way doesn’t it? I’m gonna try my best to make proper videos for those watching most definitely. Your input helps me out and speaks and volumes so i’ll be able to improve these videos once I start this hike. 😀

      Hey, thank you so much it means a lot to me to receive a comments on how these videos are turning out. I’m doing my best right now to learn to refine and to make better videos for this upcoming hike. I’m starting March 23.

    nice gear. Advice you don't really need: You would save some weight in the electronics bag by not having bags and boxes inside the main bag. lots of cushion in your pack to protect things so i would get rid of the hard case and the bag around the charger and the other plastic zip bag and the bag around your cords. I will look forward to the trip vids! Good luck!

    • @thewalkingraven
      @thewalkingraven  2 месяца назад +3

      You know that’s actually a good idea! If I can save some weight and not have to bring that GoPro case, I’ll take that advice and run with it. Thank you.! when I get home, I’m gonna tinker around with my gear🙏!

    Have a blast! Watch a lot of these vids. Appreciate Keeping it straight to the point. Not sure how much experience you have with the beFree filter, but I love mine. I have 5 of them! lol. You'll probably be fine since you'll be using it so frequently, but if they dry out it can take about 15 minutes of filling the bladder and letting the filter soak or "hydrate" before the flow returns. Just an fyi. Closed cell foam pads are so necessary for end of day stretching and chilling. Cheers!

      Thank you, thank you so much for the tips on the bladder. I have not really used it out in the field yet.! I’m definitely going to soak it if it gets dry the Sawyer didn’t work for me so well and it’s bladder it came with leaked on me like crazy from my 2022 hike so I had to upgrade definitely I’m glad they’re working out for you. Thank you for checking out the video. I’m gonna do my best to make these videos, watchable and enjoyable for y’all!!

    I once ate an expired lasagna mountain~house. lol 😂 it didn’t make me sick but it set my stomach on fire. You should bring a compass 🧭 just in case you need to step off trail to take a dump. It’s good to take a baring so you know what direction to go to get back on trail. Good luck 🍀

    • @thewalkingraven
      @thewalkingraven  2 месяца назад

      That made me laugh out loud. I will definitely take that into mind.!😂 in 2022 I almost got lost off trail in the rhododendron forest cause I went too far to take a dump. I had to use my phone to get back on trail with FarOut. It was a scary moment I swear I was lost for about five minutes.!

    Hello! I will be following your hike! I'm from Patagonia, and we have some beautiful mountains down here, but the trails are not as long as yours. I'd love to do a thru hike some day.

      You are so correct! I failed to mention my pack weight. It is 25 pounds fully loaded before water.
      I may have to do an update video because I’m starting to realize hearing the comments that there’s a few things I definitely missed! Thank you for the feedback. It’s really helping me out right now on how to approach these videos. 🙏
