On a clear night, when the moon is full, if you listen carefully you can still hear the echoes of a note that Bruce Dikinson hit in 1983.

Hilarious comment
@@EMal-mf9pc (Tips cap.) Have a great day mate!
😃😀🙃
😊
Bruce Dickinson is an angel who got kicked out of Heaven because he wouldn't stop singing and he was keeping God up at night. Up The Irons!
If you sing "Heaven Can Wait" one. more. time. I'll take you up on it - Signed, God.
Up the Irons!!!
True story
Iron Maiden!! Ok! So we're doing this now? Yes!!!
Oh ya!
Welcome!
It's a pretty deep rabbit hole.
🤘
@@brianl8481 I jumped into that rabbit hole in '88 and still haven't found the bottom lol
Fact : There's a history lesson in every Iron Maiden song
Either that or they sing about fantasy stuff that always reminds me of the pathfinder ap rise of the rune lords lol
Well not this one, this is just fiction.
That hypeman is the singer Bruce Dickinson he's also a licensed pilot & flies his own airplane.
He flew the Band Plane for most of their recent world tour!!
He was also a world-class fencer, and an author. :)
don't forget an Olympian for the GB fencing team talented? just a bit...
He also is the patron of numerous charities.
A couple of names you have to know when talking about metal singers that you just cannot not know: Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Ronnie James Dio to name a few.
Omg. I heard this song when i was in 6th grade in catholic school. Now im 50. Still love this song and have their shirts and tapes, cds!! Tku for listening
I have about 300 tapes that are obsolete. Iron maiden And Judas priest are the top 2
Need to hear Fear Of The Dark live in Rio
Thumbs up this comment everyone. This needs to happen!
This recording was made in 1982 with the original line up, Clive burr on drums. All though still great his vocals were even better back then.
Clansman same concert.
@@beastdogs6664 clansman? In 1982 ?
@@212MPH No, I was referring to Bob's comment, which was the 2001 Rock in Rio concert, the Clansman with Bruce is one of the best versions I ever heard.
Y'all have no idea how dope this is for me! This is the metal of my youth. A black kid in the 80's listening to Maiden and other metal bands. While my homies were deep into Hip-Hop. This is the music that spoke to me. More than any other genre. Thank you both for this.
How do you feel about rap driven metal/ rock? Like Rage against the machine. Or Linkin Park? Or Insane Clown Posse? Limp Bizkit? I love all kinds of music. Rap, rock, country, blues, reggae, gospel, etc. I find good music that speaks to my soul. Metal and country probably are the center of my love for music though.
the maiden song blood brothers says it all.
Iron Maiden is one of those bands that sound better live than the studio versions. The others are Pink Floyd, Queen & AC/DC
I would add Nightwish, Unleash the Archers, and Sabaton to that list.
Nightwish: Wacken 2013
Unleash the Archers: Montreal
Sabaton: Woodstock 2012
another great song is "Run to the Hills" it's about native Americans and the clash with the troops coming from Europe
I was around 14 or 15 years old, living in Seoul Korea (dad was in the US Army & stationed there for 2 yrs). I had just recently discovered heavy metal from hangin' out with a bunch of "rockers" at my new school on the Army base. prior to this, i had mostly just listened to music played on the local pop or R&B stations. Rap was still a new genre that was quickly gaining ground & attention from more mainstream stations. Also my dad was a big country music fan so I heard a lot of old school country songs growing up, from the likes of Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, etc.
One day in 1982, I am just looking through the music section of the PX (Army post exchange) store on base. My attention was immediately drawn to the cover art of Iron Maiden's latest album "The Number of The Beast". I had no idea who Iron Maiden was & had never heard one note of their music. I bought that album based solely on the fact that I was so drawn in & intrigued by the artwork on the album. Hallowed be thy name, The number of the beast, & Run to the hills are 3 of my favorite Maiden songs. Bruce Dickinson's operatic voice is legendary, one of the greatest vocalists of our time. Bruce & Ozzy were my first tour guides into the land of heavy metal music... 38 years later, I still remember the 3 albums I bought that day - Iron Maiden "The Number of the Beast", Ozzy Osbourne "Diary of a Madman", and The Scorpions "Blackout" \m/ :-)
The double edge sword of provocitive cover art, kids grab it, parent throw it out when found without hearing a note.
"Number Of The Beast"......and "Aces High".
You'll enjoy them.
I second Aces High! I swear, this man must have been kicked in the balls with steel toe shoes in order to reach those high notes. LOL
Yes !! Live 🤘
This has always been one of the "go to" songs for anyone just starting their metal journey. So glad y'all enjoyed this classic. His vocals are indeed amazing, and yes, he was classically trained. Great reaction. Much love&respect❤🤘❤ The guy on the Mike is Bruce Dickenson. One of the greatest metal vocalists out there. And they still killing it to this day. The whole band is 1 big ball of energy^!^
@Noah Sikorski he was trained long before that, which is why his voice is so powerful. Just like David Draman of Disturbed! 2 great powerhouses!
@Noah Sikorski hmmm. So....I must prove myself huh?we shall look this up!
@Noah Sikorski and I admit, I have replied with false information. He stated that he has a natural operatic voice. My apologies!
in his book he has a chapter organ piper and he talks of his singing elsewhere in it. no classical training or voice lessons. an ex girlfriend heard him and said you ight have a voice and he read a book. rob halford of priest no voice. dio has said he was given trumpet lessons as a child and credits that for helping his singing.
Up the Irons! Iron Maiden rules!
Glad you turned your attention to Iron Maiden next up is Fear of the Dark Rock in Rio live
YES!
That was actually the lead singer Bruce Dickinson that was hyping up the audience between the vocals LOL
Bruce Dickinson, the singer, flys the band around in a 747 Jumbo Jet when they are on tour. He was also in the British Olympic team for fencing and has written a number of books. He recovered from cancer to come back and record another album with the band
Have to listen to "The Clansman" and "Fear of the Dark" Live in Rio!!!!!!!
... But not THAT type of clansman, as another reaction RUclipsr tried telling his wife.
A few Facts ... Bruce Dickenson the Vocalist became a world class champion of Fencing WHILE they were touring. Bruce is NOW their pilot of their personally owned 757.
Bruce Dickinson the vocalist was the guy getting the crowd reved up while the guitarists were playing
Bruce Dickinson is the singer. He put his mic down during the guitar solo and was working the crowd. He's a legend in Rock music.
Amen to that! Let’s not forget Clive! RIP!! ❤️
Bruce Dickinson is the front man . he is the lead singer That's what A good front man does for the crowd
that guy hyping was bruce dickinson. the singer. he's incredible
Ooh...I LOVE HER!!! She felt this song in her soul!!!
Next, check out Aces High, or Flight of Icarus
Iron Maiden are special,no doubt about it, perfect reaction 🎼🎵🎵🎶🎶❤️
Run To The Hills and The Trooper🔥🤘💯
The smiles on your faces say it all. You just heard the best band in the world.
This a 45 year old rabbit hole and counting. Started in '75 and they still making music with their most recent album from 2015. The catalog of must listen is very long.
Iron Maiden was the soundtrack to my youth. LOVE to see y'all rockin out to this. I was head bangin with y'all. UP THE IRONS!!!
The singer Bruce Dickinson is the hype man. He has that energy though their entire concerts, even now in his 60s. He was also a world class fencer, an airline pilot and studies classic poetry....all while being the lead singer of one of the most iconic metal bands ever.
NOT A SONG
AN EXPERIENCE
Iron Maiden concerts in the early 80's were the best shows I have ever seen.....Class of 80
You've just witnessed one of the greatest bands of all time.
Metalhead's in the making. Whole new rabbit hole to be sure getting into Iron Maiden. That show was decades ago too. I just saw them here in Portland last year and they still bring it hard live.
Glad y'all did this one Iron Maiden is my favorite band of all times...good vibes
Ohhh hell yes, Maiden....... Up The Irons!!!🤘🤘🤘
It's so much fun to see people experience this for the first time, to me it's an old classic. They were kind of an Underground band that didn't get Much air play at the time.I Got to see these Guys Live in 1988 and I'm hear to say that still to this day is one of the Best Concerts I've ever seen. And I've seen Metallica, AC/DC and Many others. They blew you away with the stage show, vocals Guitars, drums Everything. there Amazing. Great pick
The thing that was incredible about Iron Maiden is that their LPS were good but when you saw them live he were just floored by how well they played
That is their lead singer, Bruce Dickinson.
Maiden almost always tells a story. Sometimes they are taken from literature or history, and sometimes they just invent their own. This is one of their own set somewhere in history about a man's thoughts before he is hanged for some unspecified crime.
The "hypeman" is the lead singer, the almighty, Bruce Dickinson aka the air raid siren you'll find out
True, Classic, Heavy Metal.... So glad you guys are discovering this. I love your Reactions! Up The Irons!!
Whoever requested this song is a LEGEND
Their current tour, this song is one of the last songs payed, the band been on stage for two hours, the band members are all in their 60's and the still bring the energy like they were in their 20's, up the irons.
I'm a more mature adult now I remember when Iron Maiden formed in 1975 they've had lots of lead singers they all had a unique quality but I do believe that Bruce Dickinson's voice and the way his stage presence is phenomenal
YES YES YES YES!! I'm SO hyped to go down this rabbit hole with you two! Up the irons! The Iron maiden family here are huge and fierce loyal.
and something else - all you fellas back me up on this: there are fewer things more prescious than seeing a beautiful woman rocking out and headbanging with abandon like that! Dam, girl was in to it!!! I mean it through and through, that is a beautiful thing!
Other songs that are total fire:
The Trooper
The Prisoner
Flight of Icarus
Powerslave
2 Minutes to Midnight
Aces High
Children of the Damned
Around 7 mins jai got allllll into it 😂😂🔥🔥
My life was blessed when I saw the Maiden live.
Love the reaction! Up the Irons!
KING DIAMOND- WELCOME HOME! Just a classic Metal song with the King's amazing vocals!
Half, your side eye at the beginning🤣😂before you started head bopping, made me chuckle.
The most listened to Maiden song is Run To The Hills. Check it out
Love Iron maiden since the 80s one of the best bands ever!!!
Wow what a voice. Been listening to maiden since 83.
We took our son to his first Maiden concert when he was six. He was an instant fan.
"heavy metal" is a tribute to IRON MAIDEN, up the irons.
Awesome! Y'all covered my favorite Iron Maiden song. That earned you a Subscribe. The tour this was taken from was the first concert I ever went to and in the summer of 2019 I took my grand daughter to her first concert..... Iron Maiden. All comes full circle.
Welcome to Iron Maiden! Best band in the world!!!
Love IM. had all their vinyl in hs
Bruce Dickinson is like a Metal Opera Singer!!! Love this band.
If you like this you may like Queensryche. Geoff Tate got chops as well.
Both bands instrument players are too notch too👍🏼
Iron maiden and King Diamond are possibly two of the best bands that can tell a great story in their music.
Bruce Dickinson went through cancer and now 62 and still has the same energy. Incredible!!!!!.
She was a total hoot to watch how much she enjoyed this
IRON MAIDEN.....legends!
The lead singer is Bruce Dickinson and he’s amazing I’ve seen him live six times the energy is unbelievable he’s one of the greatest front man ever
Run to the Hills, The Trooper, Aces High have always been some of my favorites. Iron Maiden is an amazing band and made the best Hard Rock posters and Mascot (Eddie) ever!
“The Trooper” live in Santiago, Chile is 🔥....100,000 + singing along
No auto tune, all amazing musicians, write all their own materials. Can't beat rock n roll
They were so ahead of there time.. one of the best metal bands!!!!!
Up The Irons!
Hell Yeah baby Iron Maiden :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Finally a review where they didn't cut off Bruce's long note at the beginning
Congrats for being one of the few reaction channels to tackle Iron Maiden. The bass player, Steve Harris is widely considered to be one of the best in heavy metal. That galloping sound he perfected runs through many of their songs and is kind of his trademark. This song is one of my favorites. I always wanted to hear Johnny Cash do a cover of this song.
Hype man is Bruce Dickinson, lead vocalist, world class fencer, and pilot of Iron Maiden’s touring jet. Half if you love the bass line and are going to take guitar lessons, consider the bass. Steve Harris the bass player of Iron Maiden is a great place to start.
So glad to see you guys do Maiden!! The Trooper live from them has to be soon!
One of the best shows you will ever go to! Promise!
Hey man I was at that very show (1989) in Espace Ballard, Paris, France!! What an evening it was!!! Welcome to the family!!!
Welcome to the Iron Maiden family. Hang on tight, you are about to embark on a glorious journey that is Iron Maiden. Next up maybe go for something off their next album title Piece of Mind. I would suggest "The Trooper". Get use to Maiden fans using the phrase "Up the IRONS!" \m/\m/
An Iron Maiden rabbit hole journey? Deep hole but I'll jump in with you. Fan since the 80's. Up the irons!
Looooove Iron Maiden....metal gods....
I haven't watched the video yet but this morning listening to my normal Iron Maiden playlist, I hoped you both would do this reaction. I'm so excited! 🤘🏼
Y'all in some serious heavy metal now. Run to the Hills is one of my faves by Iron Maiden. Have a lovely day 💕🌼😉
Memories. Wish I could take you both back. Concerts were dope!
One of the greatest metal bands of all time. Live shows are epic. Seen the band over 20 times starting in 82, the years that video came from.
Interesting fact about this....the audience hadn't heard this song before. The show was recorded 20th March '82 at Hammersmith Odeon in London. The album wasn't released until 2 days later on the 22nd. This was the 21st show of the tour to promote the album Number of the Beast. This song was only recorded for the album in January 82' and the tour started late February.
Rime of the Ancient Mariner, 2 Minutes to Midnight, and Stranger in a Strange Land are also insanely great too!
This is such a great song....Only seconded to Powerslave and my all time favorite, Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Love that you did this song! You can tell she is an old school metal head. She is into this song like it is in her blood. Great reaction, folks!!!!
Hahah hype man, he’s the lead singer! Great reaction guys! Please do more maiden 🤟🏻
They were awesome in concert!!!!
Up ta IRON......
Legendary . . Iconic . . Masterful band ! Seen them many times, as recently as 09/19 & as early as 1985 & they still bring IT ! They have 39 albums, and have been filling the biggest venues, all around the world, for 4 decades... The greatest live performances, I have ever seen... And I have seen a lot of bands over my 50 years.... Looking forward to more Iron Maiden ! 🤘 Up The Irons

whoop! i liked the comemend of the lady. I'm a Maiden fan since 1988. I liked this reation to this video, i was that age....
Well shit, if you are going to step into some Maiden you have to react to the one EVERYONE reacts to, and for good reason, Iron Maiden Fear of the Dark live in Rio. It really is the Gold Standard to react to.
they tell excellent stories too. Lots of talk about wars from WWII, back to Roman wars and battles. Must have been a good library before internet there haha. I didn't find them until 1983, and everyone thought I was too into heavy metal for them. Oh well...
You both are fantastic. Thanks for your great reaction!
Hahaha I love how jai be getting into metal, hahahaha I believe she is slowly becoming a metal head lmao 🤣 😆 😂 😅 😄 🤣😛😛
I love that you guys just watched one of my favorite songs ever!!!
I’ve heard the term “rock opera” but not used as a genre. I do believe it needs to be it’s own genre. That’s certainly what Iron Maiden is-rock opera.
13 second high note belt from his Majesty and Vocal High Lord Sir Bruce Dickinson
Iron Maiden had lead drums and bass with a story and a guitar follow and flow over that made you feel a chill and you knew why but you didn't
Right!!! That’s a bad ass song! Classic
