Got to see the great Clive Burr twice. I have a white drum kit because of him. (its the one in the little circle to the left) He brought a more straight rock punkish groove. I have watched Nikko more than a few times and is he a "better" drummer...eh, just different. The loss of Clive changed Iron Maiden. For good or bad is your own call. But just listen to Killers and Number of the Beast first before you decide. God Rest His Soul... UP THE IRONS!!!
Guys, not judging you at all, but you CAN'T continue your life without listening to A LOT more Iron Maiden. Not only as musicians yourselves, but also as human beings :D
Almost every metal band was influenced by Iron Maiden. Back then, radio play was critical to any band's success, but as a heavy metal band, they received very little radio play, yet were so successful, they were instrumental in the Grammy awards adding a "hard rock/heavy metal" category. Bands like Black Sabbath, Motorhead, and Iron Maiden laid the foundation for every metal band after them.
Black Sabbath was releasing albums 10 years before Iron Maiden dude! Black Sabbath-Led Zeppelin-Deep Purple set the foundations in early 70s along with some other bands in mid 70s, like Scorpions and Judas Priest. 80s bands just stepped up and established the heavy metal sound we know now
I can't emphasize enough how much joy I receive by watching younger generations react when watching some of the best, iconic, pure and intricate metal ever created. Absolute perfection in not only one of the most iconic and unique voices of all time, but also some of the most brilliant metal musicians ever assembled. It truly never gets old.
R.I.P. Clive Burr. Beast of a drummer and gone way too soon. The singer, Bruce, has always been super-theatrical (sometimes people poke fun at him) but he's said that he wants everyone, including the people in the back or up in the balconies, to get the full treatment. I'm not sure any band loves their fans more than Maiden.. and vice versa. Cheers.

Can't believe you've never heard Maiden! At least you've fixed that now :) They are the definition of Legends, started in the mid 70s in the UK when punk was the only music to play and stuck to their guns and helped shape the music genre we all love today. Now they are all in their 60s and still touring, amazing to think Iron Maiden have had quite a few personnel changes but kept the same line up for 20 years now, that's longer than most bands have been around! Please do more of Iron Maiden! They have beautiful music and amazing storytelling. Plus they are a great very talented and funny bunch of people. I started listening to them when I was like 8 or 9 and never looked back. It's been a few decades now. They are great live. Them and Nightwish of course. From the bands that are way better live. Throwing amazing shows still today in their 60s. Bruce, oh well Bruce, he has breath for days 😂😂😂
The best live version (so far) of the greatest metal song of all time. Twin Ibanez Destroyers, Clive Burr pounding seven bells out of the drums, Air Raid Siren Bruce on screaming vocals, and 'Arry rocking the shit out of his Fender Precision. What's not to like?
great video, Iron Maiden is undoubtedly the greatest Heavy Metal band of all time, it has a very large list of songs for you to react to, looking forward to the next Iron Maiden song on your channel. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Shocked you guys haven't hear Iron Maiden !!!! They were my favourite live band prior to discovering Nightwish. Both are exceptional live experiences. Enjoy. Oh by the way. Lead singer Bruce Dickinson is a qualified airline pilot and on recent world tours has flown the band around on their own chatered jet. Last time a 747 Jumbo.
As well as graduating university with a degree in history, Bruce Dickinson was awarded an honorary doctorate of music by London's Queen Mary College in 2011. He have several times been on History Channel as a Host on WW2 (I do believe mainly on tanks). Fun fact he is also a Fencer and have a Company that sells fencing equipment. And most importantly he have beaten Cancer.

I was fortunate to have seen them in Long Beach California on the live after death tour. In the 80s and they are the best show I've ever seen. And I saw everyone that came through LA from 1979 through 1988.
I think Fear of the Dark (live in Rio) is a good option to see why they are considered Music Legends, fans of all ages going crazy with them, all members of Maiden are now in the 60`s, and the energy is still the same, and like in 1984 when i saw them live first time, the fans can sing all the songs word by word, Maiden is just AMAZING GOOD.
Yes guys, this was my favorite band in the eighties. I went to their concert in 1984 in de Ijsselhallen Zwolle. Fantastis show and band. Still like your blue hair Suzi and Travis his slow motion laugh is also great.haha keep it up

If you like his vocals check out "Rime of the ancient mariner" Live after death concert. 13 minute epic song based off a poem of the same name. Btw i watch all of your Nightwish reactions. My 2nd favorite band.
You NEED to see the flight 666 documentary. They have 3 main guitarists, a bassist, a singer and their current drummer is recognized as one of the top 10 metal drummers. His kit on the flight 666 tour is massive! 9 toms, 10 cymbals, a single pedal bass drum, a snare and a gong. The crowd feedback on every song is unfathomable.
Iron Maiden - Simply the greatest of all time. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Once you start...🤘🔥😉 Try Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Alexander the Great, The Trooper, or Aces High for starters, preferably starting with the studio versions first.
Went to see them twice in their prime back in the 80's and Bruce Dickinson never stopped with that energy for the entire concert. 3 hours of just jumping all over the stage and singing like a rock god. Was just amazing to see. Very fond memories for sure.
The thing is Heavy Metal Bands from the 80's (Metallica, Maiden etc.) they had to put on a great live show, if not they woundn't exit Radio woundn't play thim, so exposure had to go as a Word of Mouth...And that is something you can really feel when you have see Metal Bands compared to other genres. Also in my personal opinion is that its live you see how good a Band is, without all the "stuido magic" .
i always think that bruce dickinson have world best heavy metal singing voice( now a days coz he getting old i think marco with nightwish have the best voice). bruce can fly anything plane in this world,so one time they rent biggest plane and iron maiden fly every where they tour in world with bruce captain of course, maybe that´s one reason they have so large fan groups all over the world. i see 5 times live and have to say that amazing live band. ok thanx and hopefully can see more iron maiden here. have great day there.
i have seen them in the Netherlands back in the 80's and just like Nightwish they where awesome live Anthrax played before Iron Maiden btw and Maiden was the main concert....funstuff to watch and a throw back in time.....damn i'm getting old hahaha great reaction and thx for that
You wonder if Axl Rose was influenced by this guy. The answer is probably yes. Honestly most Rock/ Metal singers worth their salt were influenced by this guy. Bruce Dickinson is a beast until today, even after throat cancer.
My first Iron Maiden contact was when they opened for Kiss, i was sold on the spot. Fronted with lead singer Paul Di'Anno, who had/has a very distinctive voice and it took some time to warm up to Bruce's vocals. Best song live has to be Fear of the dark (Rock in Rio) Fun fact: Iron Maiden has it's own plane Boeing 747, which is piloted by Bruce himself.
What !!!!!.. You need to react to more Iron Maiden then .. Judas Priest Painkiller , The Haunting by Kamelot W/Roy Khan and special guest Simone Simons of Epica ..

You guys are such fun. 😂😂😂 This was such an epic performance as well. Still can’t believe you’ve not listened to them so far. There’s a massive back catalogue to enjoy.
Thank you. You guys helped us get comfortable that we can be silly so thank you!
Thats right baby the 80s instrumental breaks epic been playing on stage now 40 plus years everyone still loves it everywhere i go
Please do more of Iron Maiden!
Grew up with heavy metal and alot off iron maiden. Now my daughter and friend also are big fans. We went last year to there concert
I saw Iron Maiden finally last August in Indiana, August 23rd. I loved every second, so epic.
Best song of IM from the best album with the best line up
Drummer Clive "monster" Burr
The best metal drummer
Gone but never forgotten
great video, Iron Maiden is undoubtedly the greatest Heavy Metal band of all time, it has a very large list of songs for you to react to, looking forward to the next Iron Maiden song on your channel.
Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Going to show my age, but I saw Iron Maiden in 1983 on the "Piece of Mind" tour, and in 1984 on the "Powerslave" tour. Both unforgettable shows.
Viejo sortudo
I'm 54, been a Maiden fan since 1980. You've only scratched the surface. Keep going.
@@argantyr5154 He also wrote the screenplay for the movie "Chemical Wedding" (none in the US as "Crowley").
@@argantyr5154 and is involved in the creating and marketing of Trooper Beer and is a published author and owns an airplane maintenance and mechanic school in Cardiff I believe.
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer Sorry for one little mistake.I'll try to KNOT do it again...lol
The plane is called ‘Eddie 1”
am i ever loving watching you first timers listening to maiden,it's absolutely priceless. up the irons!!
THE BEST HEAVY METAL SONG EVER WRITTEN! 🎶🤘
Bruce isn't just Iron Maiden's singer, he's their pilot too! He's also beaten cancer.
He was.. i don't think he fly's their plane anymore. But he likely still flys something.
@@lyianx *flies
Whether or not someone knows iron maiden, there's always a great chance they'll recognize the dueling guitars in "The Trooper". Iconic is putting it lightly
My favourite band of all time. This was the tour I first saw them live. Seems a lifetime ago lol
iron maiden are gods, if you wanna know about learning, maiden and acdc, you cant get better or higher and they can teach you everything you wanna know about putting on a show ;) i have seen a lot of bands, but them 2, noone can compare
During acdc iron maiden or a few more im bassicly floating in the air the entire concert. Power!
Pantara could, almost, be put on
that list along with metalica. Powerful live...
Always glad to see an unbelievably gorgeous girl jam to metal legends. My son his girlfriend and I drove 4 hours to Dallas to see maiden on their last tour in 2019 on a Saturday night what a way to spend a weekend. A show we will never forget. We are waiting for their next tour to go see them again.
not listened to iron maiden??? that is a crime, punishable by death xD :p
Yup... To the gallows pole!!!!
And they have a band
Oh Yeah Maiden!! for my 9th birthday, my uncle took me to my first metal concert.. it was Maiden and it was fucking awesome! 26years later still getting goosebumps every time i hear them. Damn.. lifetime love! Thx 4 doing this reaction. greetings from germany
Wow cool birthday!!
@@TheWolfHunterZ Yeah, im so happy he did that :D One year bevor, my mother took me to a PUR concert, thats a german Pop Band. And when my uncle heard about that he said "oh my god, you cant do this to him" and got that concert tickets (thats at least the story i was told :D )
Hope you will do some more Maiden :)
Legend has it,when Iron Maiden got asked: "How many guitarists are there gonna be in Iron Maiden?",theyr answer was clear as day: *YES!*
Well...you picked a GREAT song to begin the trip down the Iron Maiden rabbit hole!!!! ENJOY THE RIDE!!!!
They are still around making new music 40 yrs later
Yessssss! I love that you love it :) Fun trivia: Bruce used to be a world class fencer. He is also a certified airline pilot :D
The base guitar is so brutal it's almost like another set of drums take a bow Steve Harris
Yes guys, this was my favorite band in the eighties. I went to their concert in 1984 in de Ijsselhallen Zwolle. Fantastis show and band. Still like your blue hair Suzi and Travis his slow motion laugh is also great.haha keep it up
amazed you have never listened to Iron Maiden. My favorite band . So much so i have 2 maiden tattoos. If you like his vocals check out "Rime of the ancient mariner" Live after death concert. 13 minute epic song based off a poem of the same name. Btw i watch all of your Nightwish reactions. My 2nd favorite band.
They have reacted to 2 other maiden songs , rime of the ancient mariner and hallowed be thy name
I'm 59 I saw them over 40 years ago live BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, AWESOME.
I miss the 80s so much. Iron Maiden was so good live!
They still put on a great show!
My first record was with Iron Maiden, The number of the beast, my first ever concert, was with Iron Maiden 88" tour Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
Better now than they ever were.
Still are homie
Now they are better than ever
Legendary Song. Top 10 Metal songs ever
Bruce was singing entire concert like GOD !!!! 💀
Great reaction my favorite by Iron Maiden is Run to the hils
i always think that bruce dickinson have world best heavy metal singing voice( now a days coz he getting old i think marco with nightwish have the best voice). bruce can fly anything plane in this world,so one time they rent biggest plane and iron maiden fly every where they tour in world with bruce captain of course, maybe that´s one reason they have so large fan groups all over the world. i see 5 times live and have to say that amazing live band. ok thanx and hopefully can see more iron maiden here. have great day there.
What's amazing about this song is that Bruce does not get drowned out by the guitars and you can still hear him and it's just amazing
Imagine Bruce and Floor singing together , if I heard that I could die
This is almost:
ruclips.net/video/un-el_QSen0/видео.html
It would be epic!
Me too.
Ayreon - The Universal Migrator (parts 1 and 2). Bruce and Floor on the same album...not singing together. (yet)!!! can't get closer than that!!!!!
@@mandje2002 they *_are_* singing together on one song: "Into the Black Hole".
EDIT: My bad, that's Lana Lane. 😞
i have seen them in the Netherlands back in the 80's and just like Nightwish they where awesome live Anthrax played before Iron Maiden btw and Maiden was the main concert....funstuff to watch and a throw back in time.....damn i'm getting old hahaha great reaction and thx for that
The late Clive burr on the drums.
Welcome to the journey of Maiden!!! We wont more obviusly!
Cheers from argentina! Up The Irons!!!
You wonder if Axl Rose was influenced by this guy. The answer is probably yes. Honestly most Rock/ Metal singers worth their salt were influenced by this guy. Bruce Dickinson is a beast until today, even after throat cancer.
love you reacting to them :) IRON MAIDEN is LEGENDS
React to iron Maiden fear of the Dark (live in rio)
Iron Maiden Rocks and so does The Wolf Hunters!!! Bless and rock on from NZ 🇳🇿🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
you really should try out Rime of the ancient mariner by Iron Maiden from the Flight 666 live video .. Classic Metal that will blow you away :D
My first Iron Maiden contact was when they opened for Kiss, i was sold on the spot.
Fronted with lead singer Paul Di'Anno, who had/has a very distinctive voice and it took some time to warm up to Bruce's vocals.
Best song live has to be Fear of the dark (Rock in Rio)
Fun fact: Iron Maiden has it's own plane Boeing 747, which is piloted by Bruce himself.
What !!!!!.. You need to react to more Iron Maiden then .. Judas Priest Painkiller , The Haunting by Kamelot W/Roy Khan and special guest Simone Simons of Epica ..
One of the best Maiden songs ever from one of the best albums, number of the beast!!
More Iron Maiden... Fear Of The Dark Rock in Rio 2001 !!!!
Welcome to Maiden World! You guys are great at this! Love your Spirit& Energy, y'all are good peeps! Peace.
And that.......is how it's done.
Here as part of the NW Army, but I love me Iron Maiden too, this song in particular ... epiiiiiiiiic 😀 and you guys are funny heheh
Aches High .. Run to the Hills ... 2 minutes to midnight
