Oppo Find N2 Review: After The Updates!

- Oppo's looking to redefine the world of foldables with the Oppo Find N2. It's the cutest, yet most perfect foldable in my opinion.
it's been a month since I've been using Oppo's newest foldable, the Oppo Find N2 and I just gotta say this... This is probably the cutest foldable I've ever used, and it's starting to become my top pick for foldable in 2023. I know the year just started and I know that we have a few more months until we find out what's new with the new Samsung Z Fold and Z Flips, but since getting this phone over the holidays. I got to take this with me to a ton of trips, including CES, and it's been a blast to use!

This phone is literally the foldable that i really like, but we don't have it in Italy. Sad experience :(

As a former Android user and now iPhone user, I really don't think that you'll like any Android phone that's not from Google or Samsung. Not saying that these other brands make crappy phones (they actually are awesome and with SO MUCH features and gimmicks). But man, these brands are awful with updates policy. Some phones are "dead" in 18 months because they just don't update (not a standard among all other companies tho). But if that's not a problem for you, just go for it.

Does forcing split screen in developer options allow for horizontal split screen as well? Or is it still only vertical split-screen?
It’s so disappointing that they removed wireless charging when the Find N 1 had it. Yes it has fast charging but I wanna be able to use all the wireless chargers I already have at home
That's why I still with oppo find n till the put the wireless charging back.

I really like the cinematic style of the video and I get that you loooove a shallow depth of field. But lose the out of focus foliage from the foreground. It looks ridiculous.

Tried the Find N outside of China but had serious notification issues (no notifications) and tried everything under the sun and couldn't fix it. Did you have the same issue with N2? if yes did you fix it and how?
Heard this was down to aggressive battery saving which is common on Chinese phones. This can be disabled for each app.
I now own a Find N2 Fold 🤦🏻♂️
The lack of notifications is a bit annoying. Keep all the apps running in the background but you're only able to add 5 of your own apps to the list.
This phone looks more sensible

so true! I don`t get it how some creators allow themselves to say stupid things like this, shows they have a very narrow focus and knowledge about the very things they are talking about..

Holy crap it's ($2,100 CAD) just as expensive as a Samsung Fold 4 256GB ($2,200 CAD) but no IP rating? If it was cheaper than a fold I'd give it a go but not just a hundred of dollars difference.

They won't do foldables. Their first thing in the ,,do list" is not comfort, it's design. But foldables are a way of comfort. This means Apple won't even try comprehending the trend of foldables.
Get your expectations down
if you want a bigger screen just buy an iPad mini better apps, software and hardware

The square aspect ⬛️ in 4/4 of this Oppo once unfolded means that it has no interest in my opinion.
No waterproofing, no wireless charging, $1100 in China so surely around $1400 - $1500 outside China...
Also, how can we achieve this level of engineering without thinking for a moment about the positioning of the speakers which is a nonsense, not to mention that of the power button / fingerprint and the volume button positioned too high and not ergonomic at all (regarding the positioning of the buttons, it is valid for the Samsung Flip 4) 🤦🏽♂️
The Honor Magic Vs (the version with the pencil) is currently the only one that can really compete with Samsung's Fold 4, this Honor is currently perhaps the only Fold to have almost ideal external and internal screen proportions .
The Oppo Find N2 with its too wide external screen is equivalent to superimposing 2 iPhones 6 Plus, seriously it's neither ergonomic nor practical for one-handed use.
Ps: I remain convinced that all these Folds should have a screen like the Oppo Find N Flip's exterior screen next to the rear photo sensors.
