MegaRabies is why I started carrying cooked fish instead of cooked meat. It heals the same as red meat, but it only restores food by half as much, so you can heal more in total.
That with health over 300 really can save you if your calm and generally kind of keep yourself starved so your always ready to heal alot but if your able to I still recommend getting outside to your bed just in case you dont outlast it
This was the first cave I ever did. I had no idea it was the hard cave. I figured because it was in the south that it was the easy cave! Lol - I always solo it, no dinos. I didn’t know any better! I built some beds outside and died a lot. Just me, a pike, two crossbows (one with arrows, one with my hook), and a LOT of medi brews and Calien soup. The calien is because I wear chitin into that cave. I set up a smithy at the mouth of the cave, and with all the hide, chitin inside and fiber right outside, when my armor breaks (a lot because I’m meleeing everything) , I just go up and fix it. It wasn’t until later on I told my friends that that was the only cave I had been in because it was the beginner cave. After they stopped laughing in my ears, they told me - uhm, yeah, that’s one of the hardest caves, LOL. Oh well, ignorance is bliss, and now I run that cave all the time, lol. It’s the only one I know really well! P.S. I still don’t use dinos.
I really don’t think you have to use that many grappling hooks. Crossbows have a HUGE range. You can also just go straight across, you don’t need to hit the ceiling. I love your videos! Idk why you don't have bad things happen... like Raptor or Theri attacks while in this area. I recently got the Waterfall spot you have here. I get attacked by Raptors a lot.... and Theri's and once a Carno lol. Trying to build here is quite an adventure. Not to mention now I have a player who pillared me in to my spot. He showed up the other day, now I can not build out ;o( I hope I have enough room for my plans. If not, I guess I just build the house and leave my Tames at another area close by . Really do not understand why players build so close. I mean he has all the land after the Waterfall up to the Red OB. Think that is a large enough spot for them, but perhaps not lol . Time will tell . TY for the Vid Phlinger
I'll go out on a limb and say that it is likely that you just don't get to see all of the bad things that happen to Phlinger. Like when we cut his hair and paint him funny colors. I mean....that's what I've heard. :P

I am breeding up SO many baryonyx before I go in this cave. Took me 4 hours cruising the swamps to find a worthy Bertha, and another 2 to find a MEH-ish breeder male 💀🔫
Oh I hate this cave so much. Lost so much stuff in there xD The worst thing is the heart attack every jump still gives me ^^ But at least I feel confident about the grappling part by now, so that's something I guess. Good video!
If you're playing on single player or own server check the allow flyers in cave box, and use a powerful flyer like an argi or a snow owl i really hate this cave the fact i lost so many dinos and stuff here.

And her health is 5665.9. Her weight is 474.5 is this good or not?
Crow God yeah i just got the curage to do it and i got to where the artifact was and I forgot my stupid grappling hooks i was so mad😂😂😂😂 now my whirlwind has about 432.1 damage lol
@@tropikwolfyt Always something to consider if you have a special connection to a specific tame is getting a mate for that one, and aiming for a baby that you can use for the more risky outings, while the special one gets the outings with less chance of certain death. Of course your servers breeding settings may make this more or less difficult to do, but definitely something to consider.
well... i tried but my bary got stuck on a ledge surrounded by lava. luckily i had grappling hooks but i wanna get the bary and the saddle tomorrow. wish me luck! edit: it is now tomorrow and i ran in with another bary and got my other bary back via grappling hooks and cryos

This cave is the most annoying one to do now, with that jump over lava required. That stupid lava has taken a few tames from me over the years when I have misjudged/misclicked the jump. Grrr....
I play single player also but run the caves without the fliers like intended. I do however turn fliers on for Valguero and Extinction. 1. Because I want to fly in the Valguero Aberration, since I already have played regular Aberration without fliers 2. I hate Extinction mostly and just want to get through parts quicker. So I take my Lighting Wyvern through the Desert Cave and kill the Desert Titan with ease.
Screw this cave. I just lost Mastercraft crossbow and journeyman long neck when a swarm of bats knocked my mount and me off into the lava. I'm trying to find a way to reel my body in right now but screw this cave. Idk why I still play this abusive @$$ game

You can also use an archaeopteryx to glide across areas

That should be good just carry fish meat to be certain. I was able to do this cave with a 3500 health 700 Melee Megaloceros
