Thank you! This just happened in my 2022 trailblazer today. I work 1 1/2 hours from home. I am hoping i can drive it home later and then put a new battery in it since i have 2 at home.

thanks, question I have a 2020 blazer RS and I went through the car wash here in WI (it is cold out) and when I got home and parked in the garage and opened my door and pushed the lock button nothing happens, I cannot even lock with the fob? any ideas??
I can get in and start but once I turn off I get the no remote detected. And Remote start doesnt work as shown in videos. I have no clue what the key fob combo is.
So my 2nd smartkey has a new battery in it but it doesnt function other than what you show in the video. Could this be because it's not programmed? I feel like it was programmed when I got it but now it doesn't work anymore
What do you do when IT STILL WILL NOT START?? My daughter's was just towed after trying everything. Even used the spare key. Same issue. No key detected. It's a brand new car basically...bought in July with now only 5,000 miles. Horn works, lights and radio. She tried the key into the slot under the armrest. Nothing! The warning just keeps reading no key detected!! To say we are livid is an understatement! Sixteen hours away from home. She could have been out at dark when this happened. Thankfully it was a sunny day and she was close to a friend to help her out....
Thank you for getting back back to me. I misquoted saying we got the car in July. It was actually in May. We also found out, today, that there was a Bullitin posted at car dealerships that this particular car could have an issue with a leak. Guess what?? Yep, the could became a DID! It messed up her electrics, carpet...etc. We are hoping we get it replaced or bought back FROM GM. IDK...WE ARE JUST SICK!! HOW do they sell a vehicle when there is Bullitin out of a potential LEAK?? Why wasn't there a recall? This car is messed up, now!! Sorry for the rant.....
I see that everyone shows how to start if key fob battery is dead but what about when the battery is new and it still doesn’t detect the fob but only stars by putting it in the stupid slot. How can that issue be resolved?

The starting procedure shown in the video only work with fobs that are programmed to the vehicle

Sounds like you may have deeper issues with the vehicle itself rather than the key. You might need to take it in to get looked at.

I replaced the battery and did those steps. It’s starts but it’s delayed to start. And still says remote no detected
you have bad receiver or connector between BCM and receiver antenna

if you are sure the new key fob battery is good and installed properly then there may be an issue with the keyfob or vehicle itself
What if I changed the battery and then it’s saying key not detected
I would check to make sure the battery is good and installed properly
