I just love it ! It's so great! My favorite part is where Hughes dies. Especially the moment when Roy crushes Envy because the words at that moment correspond so much to what is happening "Would you forgive your enemies ?". It's really a good AMV! Sorry for my bad English, I'm French.
You know, before I saw this I thought Mustang (as much as I loved him) was the ruthless one during the genocide, forced to be, yes, but still ruthless. But seeing this OVA, I see that is that Hughes was the ruthless one. Roy would've given up, given in, would've died before and after Hughes killed Heathcliff because he saw, rightly, what they were doing was wrong, was murder. Roy knew the price to pay for what they'd done and was willing, but Hughes wasn't. Hughes, instead, said, Roy, do whatever you have to do to get us out of this alive. Do ANYTHING so we can go home Go home to Gracia. But Hughes wasn't an alchemist...his price was far less in the number of deaths. In the end Hughes carried a far more weight of not deaths but in SIN. The weight he forced on Roy, the SIN he forced on Roy that none calculated, but should have, was so much more. So say the Truth.
Wow, what is this footage from? I've watched both FMA & FMA Brotherhood but I don't ever remember seeing any episodes with these scenes in them, was this from an OVA or something? (I'm referring to the footage of young Mustang & Hughes sticking up for the Ishvalan man & the war)
