Thank god someone is talking about this. I thought I was going insane cause no one else was talking about it, and everytime I mentioned it people would say "I haven't seen that ending."
It’s more than that. Do u have any idea what it means? Every episode of black mirror is a game by this company. This is another level of genius. This might be the best show of all time.
The Metl Hedd thing, Nozdhyv and White Bear Logo are just cameos. They're not meant to interconnect the episodes. Cause if it did, it'd just be retarded and make more plotholes than anything else. Stop praising something it shouldn't be praised.
There’s a theory that this is a sequel or “prequel “ to the white bear episode where the main character is actually going through a trial for killing his father. Someone mentioned how he keeps gasping after he wakes up when you try again, much like the main character does in white bear when she wakes up.
the tuckersoft webpage actually has three different history pages. you can access each simply by clicking on "history" even when it's grayed out. one history has both bandersnatch and nohzdyve. another history has only bandersnatch. and the final history has nohzdyve and a cancelled bandersnatch.
Holy shit that means the white bear episode was just a video game too and this sign is tuckersoft logo I’m mind blown, this show is the best show ever.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one. Isn't the link supposed to be with the message of White Bear and making a choice can lead to some very bad outcomes. Likewise both characters are forced to pay for something they did. When I watched Bandersnatch I immediately notice the logo link and that it's the symbol for making a desicion from two options. Tbh I'm just baffled by the whole thing.
It's literally just a lame cameo. Just like the Metl Hedd or every other cameo this show does. They don't really connect their stories together, they're only there for the viewer to appreciate them. Cause if they did connect the world of the different stories together, it would make more plotholes than anything.
You really don’t get it? Go to the website, literally every game is an episode in the show, go to their twitter, they posted gifs yesterday that imply the very same thing. That’s the message they want us to know.
@@matan1398 what's nice about the website is the advert to 'Nosedive' and the advert about the dating app on 'Hang The DJ'. I thought that was nifty link. But then again helps to promote the shows and maybe the overall effect of how we are fucking up humanity.

On the website, under the Nohzdyve sub-page, there is a "Download" option, where you can download a .tap file. You can open this tap file with an emulator. It is a playable version of the Nohzdyve from the movie.
Every British nerd growing up in the 80's knows that sound. You really made it complicated for no reason, also it's not a console, it's a home computer.
Can I just say thank you so very much for finding this, doing the work to get it to work, and providing the link? So much fun, and I know I wouldn’t have gotten there without the help 🙂
The vast majority of software produced for the ZX Spectrum and other similar 80s home computers (not consoles btw) was distributed in cassette tapes. You would play the audio with a normal cassette player and the computer would load it in real time. The full process would take around 4-5 minutes. The tapes were normal audio tapes that you could buy in most music shops and department stores, and you could pirate them at home with a double cassette deck. Most modern Spectrum emulators are able to detect that you are loading a game from tape and "accelerate" the process so you only get to see the program already loaded. You can still configure the emulator not to do that and see the complete loading process. Someone uploaded a video loading this Bandersnatch file with an emulator in real time combined with the scene from the movie where the audio is played (search for "Black Mirror Bandersnatch QR code program during credits"). Most modern emulators can also load a tape directly from a WAV file (no need to create a TAP, TZX or any other format). In the Nohzdyve section of the website there's a TAP file that you can open with an emulator and play the actual Nohzdyve game seen in the movie.
I forgot to say: this thing of hiding easter eggs with ZX Spectrum audio is by no means new, although I think it's the first time I see it on a movie. In the 80s they weren't even easter eggs but clearly advertised additions to regular music releases. The Spectrum was hugely successful in the UK so a few bands included programs in their records. Examples: - Pete Shelley (from The Buzzcocks) included a program in his album "XL1" which displayed the lyrics of the songs together with some visual effects. - The Stranglers included a game called "Aural Quest" in the cassette version of their album "Aural Sculpture". In the game you control the band's tour manager. It was after the end of the 8-bit computer generation that we had proper easter eggs hidden for retro enthusiasts. I can think of a couple of them at least: - The Scottish band Urusei Yatsura included a Spectrum program that displayed a satanic message in one of the songs from their album "Everybody Loves Urusei Yatsura". - Radiohead also included a Spectrum program with a hidden message in a 2017 reissue of "OK Computer".
Yup good explanation. I had a commodore 64 and knew right away it was the sound of a program on cassette tape and that it was probably for the ZX as that's what was used in the show. I don't think that system was available in the U.S and floppy disk was more popular than cassette in that part of the world so American audiences are less likely to know what those sounds are. I imagine lots of people will have figured out that this was an obvious easter egg and know how to reveal it but will just find the answer when they google so won't bother to extract it themselves.
The Tuckersoft website is also a parallel/multi universe. The first time I visited Bandersnatch is there but not Colin's unreleased game Nohzdyve. The second time I revisited it, Bandersnatch is said "canceled" and you can download Nohzdyve .tap file to play. 😱
Bandersnatch was a real game that was never published in the mid eighties. It was in development by software house Imagine but Bandersnatch (for the ZX Spectrum) and Psyclapse (for the Commodore 64) was far from being complete when the company went bust. At that moment the rights to the game where in Limbo, one of the two groups comming out of Imagine tried te make a Bandersnatch clone. It went nowhere. This group (with Ian Heatherington and Dave Lawson) was named Fire Iron and would later form ... Psygnosis. The rights themselves were sold to Sinclair Research and development continued on a QL version. A QL cartridge showed up in 2014, but sadly the data was corrupt and not much could be recovered. A year later concept artwork of the cassette cover and booklet showed up, the artwork being part of a funding proposal from Imagine to Sinclair Research Ltd. Oh and please, the ZX Spectrum was a proper computer, not some peasants gaming console...

Ok dude i found your video a few days ago and I couldnt find it again but I'm glad i did cuz just found something today that blew my mind. So on the scene where Stephan is watching the JFD tape he looks at his wall full of his flow charts and all that and on that wall you can see the same calender that Baxter (the man behind the white bear justice park in White bear) uses to cross out the days. The fact that the white bear symbol and that calendar are in the bandersnatch episode leads me further to believe that Stefan is going through the same traumatic experiences as victoria because of his father's murder but only in a whole different way that connected to his backstory. I was thinking that the calendar might help with anything I'm not so sure if anyone has seen this but my jaw dropped when I saw it. Keep looking into the stuff you're doing great! 👍

you need an spectrum emulator
Look in the comments, I have a link to an emulator.
Good job !
thank you Snieg95
Click on white bear and it's the Y symbol.
holy shit, this is so cool
Right!
Omg this is insane
Right!
I reached to an ending in where I have to put some 5 digit code where he should "remember" in order to call for help. It shows a bar from 0 to 9 and slots to fill out. I placed a wrong code and he calls a non existing phone number. Has anyone place the right code? if so, what is that ending?
That is this ending
The number you call is the receptionist at Dr Haynes’ place. You book an appointment and hang up. Nothing much happens really
I can't stop thinking about the infinity chances of secrets endings that we can get with these numbers aaaaaaa
@@lucasonatan Yeah or mayb is a reference of the release of the next seasson "1st of April".
At this point the number is "20541"
This was so cool
Glad you enjoyed, Arthur!
Why does my website have the Bendersnatch game not canceled
There are three different version. You can clear your cookies or try refreshing.
wow whoever watched this movie should know this
Keep watching!
that's just too cool man
As always thanks for watching Nicholas!
I didn't see this ending and I've watched through every ending and chose every option possible, what did I miss?
It's an after credits scene.
@@louco5850
Does it only show on a specific ending? Because I never got it and as I said I played through every available option and watched the credits on every single one after I heard about this ending.
Yes, you have to follow a certain path. I get it by selecting "TOY" and when you go through the mirror, it seems to then show up.
@@HackhappyOrg
I did that but the credits just rolled and then it was over, maybe it's just random?
@@TheGhostOfFredZeppelin Hmm, I think you have to make certain choices. For it to come up. Also, when credits roll be sure to wait, as I remember credits start showing and then in the middle is where they show the easter egg. If I figure out the exact path to it I'll reply to this post.
holy shit this was great
Thanks for watching!
The sound is the zx spectrum game loading all brits from the eighties know exactly what it is
Also, if you keep hitting the History button it will give you 3 different versions of what happened to the company. Plus, 20541 is the Stefan's counselor's number. Neat eh? Kudos Netflix! Hashtag Nerd Overloaded.
this reminded me so much of cicada3301 puzzles but I guess it was familiar for any 80s british kids
Wish I saw the cicada3301 puzzles when they came out, I would have went for it.
wtf did he do, all those pages.. numbers.. wow am i stupid
How do I get to this ending
I do believe to get here you have to select "The Picture" over "The Book" and then select "TOY" for the password when entering the Dad's room. Once you go through the mirror, then you're on the right path. Good luck.
I found a website that specify every desicion you have tomake in order to get that ending, hope it helps:

tukersoft.net/ealing then after that it's "20541" in the movie it's the therapists number

Yes it does if you call the therapist girl with that number you say "i've killed my dad and now I'm gonna kill you"
After many hours i reach that ending! Finally!
hurray!
This is dope
Thanks for watching Jack Scholtz!
I got music when I played it. I chose Thompson Twins though.
Correct, but in one of the endings, during the credits, they play this scene again and instead of music, is the ZX Spectrum tone.
@@HackhappyOrg Oh, I misunderstood your original meaning.
are you able to actually play the games shown, if so can you play on an iphone?
A lot of people are saying they only work on computers due to the necessary software just like a PC game.
You can download the nohzdyve game from the web site, and you can download an ZX spectrum emulator on your phone, so ya, you can.
BRO! it is all code..... we listen in since 1982 ....
Nice , but can you re-encode it ?
doing the stuff in reverse ?
Yes, the tools allow this.
Nice
make the file available for download
Which file? The audio?
@@HackhappyOrg .tzx I think
Omg I got that ending but I got scared and ended up ignoringt it
I found another Tuckersoft Easter egg that is available to play Bandersnatch.
We could modify a cookie which is set "tl" parameter from the value of 2 to 1.
Then, you can access to tuckersoft.net/ealing20541/bandersnatch/ this page.
The Bandersnatch description:
'This revolutionary game from Stefan Butler is based upon the dark adventure novel by Jerome F. Davies. Follow the journey of an agent navigating a series of paths. Bandersnatch featured a record number of pathways to discover - a never-ending maze of wonder.'
Fuck yeah!
Thank you very much!
Hell ya, welcome!
That's awesome
Thanks for watching Todd Howard For Real!
Bravo well played hackhappy well played.
Thank you Sir!
Awesome stuff. Thanks for finding that. Also an Easter egg within the Easter egg here: In some cases the website displays www.tuckersoft.net/ealing20541/bandersnatch/ in other cases it is cancelled. I guess it depends on cookies?!
Thanks man! Yep, has to do with your cookies.
DEEZ NUTZ GOTEM
I need the audio please
Here you go: soundcloud.com/hackhappy/zxspectrum-qrcode
Thanks sir
Wow!
For real!
Lol there a link on that website to another Easter egg from another episode rateme.social (I think from the episode nosedive which was actually a name of the game Colin was creating in bandersnatch)
Another one wow... They are all linked together coach.dating
I missed that one, awesome!
Theres a demo of nohzdyve !!! Go to website click on game
Word, I've been playing it. It's kinda fun!
stefan butler is so far a jhon doe
Hmmm, interesting.
It was written in basic. You took the long way to get there. lol But I guess you never used a commodore vic20 or 64. I still had mine from the 80's, so I dug it out, and did, what took you hours in just a few minutes.
Awesome! So what did you do record it to tape and just play it?
Yo are you ripped
No comment! Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. ;)
Kill Dad or Back Off?
Kill Dad!
If you knew what it was but want the answer skip to 5:15
I am not taking away from the video but I knew it was data because of my TI-994A days
tuckersoft.net/ealing20541/history/ the website and you could actually download the game in the second tab.
Half decent game too!
I am so fucking lost
You're not alone
Funny Bandersnatch is cancelled
Nooooo! haha :)
@@HackhappyOrg that was a reference to when you can go to tuckersoft and then you see Bandersnatch cancelled
Zed X spectrum, not zee X spectrum.
That's how Americans pronounce Z
Churlz English pronounce zee when it’s needed but in this instance it’s zed x spectrum not zee x spectrum 😊

Zx emulator. Done.

So many possible comments. Pick one. 1. That is the sound of my childhood. 2. As people have pointed out, there is no such thing as a "Zee X Spectrum". 3. Why are you wearing a wooly hat in your house? 4. You are clearly not as old as you look. 5. This is a video explaining why you seldom feel a woman's touch. 6. Apologies for that one. I'm having a crap morning. 7. The tech element to this is impressive. 8. Happy New Year - slightly early. 9. Check out From Bedrooms to Billions - a doc about Spectrum programmers. 10. Have an upvote - peace.
rofl, not as old as I look, got me there, haha. Well made points! Cheers!
Didn’t get that far, I ended up killing him
It happens, still can try again, as Colin says.
