Thank you for highlighting one of the great computer games of our time. As a fellow Zoo Tycoonian I appreciate and admire your dedication to promoting this game in all of its glory. What an unbelievable way to start my morning, watching the highlights of a few great zoos within my favorite domain's - Zoo Tycoon. I love the dinosaur version more than any other, getting a T Rex then letting it murder all of my guests is one of my favorite pastimes, REALLY gets me amped up. Thank you kind sir, I appreciate your time and generosity, let our paths cross again in our real reality - Zootopia ;)

As a 1st grader kid who played this game back in 2001, this game is everything, i could play for hours and this is definetely make my childhood awesome As an adult watching this now, i feel so nostalgic & somehow grateful, thanks for bringing back those good days mate!
Nice! I like Oak Grove. I’m 25, been playing since it came out in 2001 and I still play this game on the regular. I just bought a sealed copy off eBay so I can be sure I’ll have a copy for my own kids to play. 😂
Lol Thanks. I tried to lable my zoos after real zoos as in design. I got inspiration with certain exhibits. Such as the lowered ground exhibit that lot of zoos have. View from above, animals below. Its quite simple to make.
One of the first games I had for PC and I still play it from time to time. Looks like Planet Zoo looks similar to ZooTycoon about play ability and freedom to build everything from zero. I will get it once I buy a new pc in the future.

know that is too old, and probably no one will answer !! but I am playing the game in 2022 >> one problem that the zoo gets soo dirty no matter how many garbage bin I would put, the maintenance workers don't empty them regularly and I cant find janitors among the stuff >>> can anyone help :O
Do you have all the staff training done? The more they are trained the more they will empty and clean garbage. Try putting trash cans only around food areas, snack areas, and rest areas. Also be realistic, dont have just one main plaza of food stands, try some on the otherside of the zoo or say there is a snack machine by the lion exhibit, make sure your trash cans are there. But again, make sure your staff is fully trained through research and conservation

It doesn't work on newer computers. I tried reinstalling it, running in compatibility mode. Nothing works.
It most definitely does work on newer computers. Maybe not all, but it runs perfectly fine on my MSI. Windows 10.

I just picked this game back up and am creating the coolest new Zoo. This game is timeless.

Even though the game is old, I found a copy of ultimate addition in a electronics store. It was like 10$. I was 8. It was 2014.

What I do is just get 3-6 females. No breeding, and still counts as a pride, so they'll stay happy.
Haha tell me about it - that's a classic one. They breed insanely fast since they always get 2 cubs
If I want lions but don’t want to deal with selling babies all day every day, my classic move is to make an exhibit with 3 males.
