Isn't it crazy how everyone's worried about Samantha's contract instead of ricochet. Lol

  • @cjrobinson1561

Ricochet needs to take acting classes. In WWE, you gotta have mic skills. Ricochet is my dude and I think he could have great programs with WWE but his promo is trash. Lashley has been in the same boat. If his promo was better, he'd be doing more.

Triple H tried to revitalize his image in the WWE after Vince left. They made him the inaugural Speed champ. He even feuded with judgement day at one point. Right now, he is in a feud with two of the biggest names that WWE has in their roster, that being Ilja and Bron. But the damage that was done to his character is now irreparable. Unless he revitalizes his character outside WWE just like Cody had, he has and always will be seen as a jobber thanks to Vince.

    I don't blame Ricochet.

I think the problem wasn't always just Ricochet's mic skills, he needed a developed character, someone who fans could relate to, but something not cookie cutter like the stereotypical babyface. Even if he was just "OK" on the mic, a story and character is something fans get behind most in wrestling. They tested him with the Logan Paul stuff and he was just the standard babyface going into it. I think he mentioned that when he's presented, he wanted to have more of a character but WWE officials never really gave him chances with that. But just because he's the character doesn't mean he has to tell his story and he's the one high flyer that makes a manager work because of how damn good he is. He has the physique and arsenal to contend with the heavyweights with more believability than even Rey does, but Rey even if his mic skills were just okay, had a character for fans to get behind.

I don’t see him being a main eventer in aew. Get a push at the start then disappear like the rest of the wwe midcard guys. TNA or new Japan he might win a world title.

  • @victoryusmc

I wouldn't leave Samantha Irvins side, ever!

  • @PtolemyJones

One of the worlds best wrestlers, treated like a circus freak and a jobber, how much money would make that work for you? He deserves to be someplace that recognizes his talent.

  • @cipherpac

Leaving right now is kinda crazy tbh. His current angle with Dragunov and Bron is probably the best thing he's done in WWE. It feels like they're finally figuring out the best way to use him.

  • @Strange_Da_Range

Ricochet would absolutely make me jump ship. I'd start watching AEW to see Ospreay vs Ricochet 1,000%. And many of the other talent in AEW. There's a lot of WWE Superstars who unfortunately can't even take most of Ricochets bumps. However in AEW most of the Superstars there can. It would be a great move for Ricochet 👍

To me the best of Ricochet remains in Lucha Underground (as prince puma). In ring he is top notch, but at no point has he hit more than a “hes ok” level of promo/mic work. Now, has he been allowed to? Maybe, maybe not. But character wise he needs another level of charisma and personality that has yet to come through on screen. I hope he can find it, he is a hell of an in ring craftsman.

  • @sebrey2245

No one can blame a person for going with the best opportunity for them. I would be sad if Ric did leave though. He is usually always the highlight of the night on Raw.

  • @jonesy7425

Simon droppin' FACTS about working only 45 seconds in.

  • @Jamela579

The man made the right choice ! What would you do ??? Stay an undercarder for the rest of your career despite you being a star in every promotion you worked for before, or going somewhere where your talent is recognized and rewarded ???

  • @tomzambeno3897

"where do you want to see Ricochet go?"

  • @jasonproctor9896

Wrestler jumping ship gives more opportunities to the business. Regardless if you don't like AEW or WWE, it keeps more wrestlers employed. Just like TNA and NWA

  • @Ruben-so7pu

At this point he has so many people rightly ahead of him. He´s an amazing worker but awful on promos. Raw is stacked, i get why he won´t get a proper push.

  • @ernestgouker5939

Hes going to AEW and then he will be featured for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden he will sucked into the Jericho vortex

  • @marthabixler1606

Orange Cassidy or Darby Allin vs Ricochet wound be interesting
