Increase the tempo just before the music begins, it actually cleans up the mess on timing, allows a bit of room for error, and just lets your reaction work. I went from B scores on more difficult sheets to S the second I swapped. FYI I wasn’t able to get a single S until I increased to speed.
Bro, thank you! This saved me and got me my platinum, lol. I was getting so frustrated. I thought it was a bug or something, so I looked up ff7 rebirth piano bugs and saw this video and them your comment. I didn't even know you could speed it up, and then I checked the music list, and I saw the little L1R1 for tempo. You saved me, thank you! I just have the battle song to get s rank, and I'm done thanks to your comment. I think there's certain notes that you miss automatically on the slowest setting I couldn't understand it lol sorry this is longer than needed but I've been stuck on this since release I finally had to look something up. Thank you thank you!
Came here to kind of say that. I agree the abstraction of the piano notes make it very difficult, I feel similarly. Also the fact that you miss 1 note and it and the abstracted notes don't play makes it difficult to figure out exactly when the next real note is to get back on track. But the "I actually know how to play guitar so this other mini game was beneath me too." Just completely destroys this video.
Whoever came out wit the idea of using the controller stick for the piano’s notes instead of using the actual controller’s buttons, there’s a special place in hell for him
This piano mini game could have been one of the greatest mini games ever. But square enix decided to make the piano mini game impossible to beat for people who have difficulties concentrating etc.
I have the same issues with this minigame. Barretts and the Chocobo one. It's like playing Guitar Hero on easy difficulty. Too many notes are left out and it throws me off. I've tried increasing the speed but that doesn't help me. I wish that you could increase the amount of notes they want you to play rather than just speed up the timing.
@@supersaiyanzero386 if you play 6 first it makes 5 easier, which i learned by accidentally playing chapter events out of order after getting lost in gongaga.
i’ve been hating and dreading these mini games especially the piano. i’ve just accepted that i’m never going to beat them and avoid as many of the mini games as i can at this point; definitely compromised my enjoyment of the game overall.
@@victory7763 the character building and development of the relationship dynamics are the best part-i love all of those goofballs especially red xiii and johnny-the mini games are frustratingly stressful. they make me feel like i’m doing work instead of playing a game.
After tifa's minigame with the gym I beat it with practice. So I said to myself I can beat the piano if I just practice it. I'm actually really frustrated and I also accepted that I will never beat this piano mini game

All I heard was oh look at me, I'm a profesional musician, it's all the games fault...

Piano is one of the better. Moogle, frog, so many boring bad ones. Turned an S tier to a b or c tier....god kill me
Skill issue
Try moogle mischief level 5. Patience issue. So horrible.

The mini games are the best part. The piano is very hard though

There’s this other side of the players who finds the piano extremely easy and the other side the players find the gym mini game easy
