Paul Newman was at Daytona in 1990 supporting STAN Barrett, not his son, Stanton as you mentioned. Stan was Paul's body double and stunt double in the movies as well as his best friend. Paul helped Stan land the Ultra Slim Fast sponsorship that began with the #72 and #73 team of Phil Barkdoll"s and later transferred to the #18 co-owned with Rick Hendrick and driven by Stan & Greg Sacks. This was another result of the Days of Thunder hype as Newman & Cruise were tight at the time and Paul Newman was launching his salad dressing line with the same company who owned Slim Fast around the same time.

Dave Marcis and RCR always had a working relationship, he even let Dave run an RCR car one time. Mike Dillon would often test the cars when Dale could not and sometimes, he would drive the 31 too. Dave Marcis also had RCR sponsor his 71 car with the video, The Making of Champions, a video on the rise of Richard Childress Racing and the Realtree sponsorship would be on Dave's car but also would appear as an associate on Dale Earnhardt's car. Dave Marcis would also run RCR engines on the big tracks and help pay the bills to help him. I always liked how RCR continued to help Dave stay in racing.

Shows that even though he was close to 60, Marcis could still get it done given a good car

It must've been really fun for Paul Newman to take a spin around the Track in that Monte Carlo.

When I saw the picture of Mike, I thought it was a picture of his son Austin! 😂 Is that a photoshopped picture of Mike in the Goodwrench uniform or did he wear it during testing?

🏳️‍🌈📺📼🏎️🧰🛠️🔧🪛🎙️🏆🏁💡🧢📻🎤📷📰📹📱 @Keepit35 I never ever heard of that face you thinking about Mike Dillion on 0:54 like say what? Did test session at Daytona International Speedway in January 1999 for Richard Childress Racing on NASCAR Winston Cup Series car like whoa. Have you ever thought of it for Austin Dillon did see this his dad driving car number 3 at Daytona! Boy I never knew this happen. Since you mention about Dave Marcis from yesterday clip before the issue from Jack Roush Racing like boy he did pretty good for subbing Mike Skinner from knee surgery right before NASCAR season started during test session. But hey you did great job for many know about NASCAR races & test session going on.

Little thing to mention Lenny is Roush Fenway racing was called Roush racing before the partnership Jack Roush never used his first name for the team name just a little bit of info for you

🏳️‍🌈📺📼🏎️🧰🛠️🔧🪛🎙️🏆🏁💡🧢📻🎤📷📰📹📱 @@masoneveridge4078 I'm aware of that for my clarification to say ok. I just put Jack Roush Racing because of only team owner didn't have full name race team. But for Richard Childress Racing they did that for many years & don't forget Richard Petty Motorsports they did that few years in 2009 it started till after emerge from Ray E. team owner.

let’s just leave it that Jack Roush’s team is the only team to not have both a first and last name at any point in time (Evernham Motorsports doesn’t apply because of RPM)
