Can you be more specific about how you got the slow Magnus at 9.3? I have probably tried a hundred times and have had no luck. I have quit and retried, hit continue after a few misses and then tried again, and also have closed out completely to give another go. Nothing has worked. Now, I am wondering if blowing through the previous stages at all 3's may have cost me in terms of bot management. I'm at a loss otherwise and doubt I am the only one.
@PittMetsZep try this. As soon as it says failed smash Magnus, send him off-track and then quit and retry. He may or may not get slower. But that’s what’s I did and he became really slow
Just an Upgrade??? So trying this comes around then a times stamps, all trying to step as well soon.
@@PittMetsZep If you ran all the other stages fast then you are stuck. I ran the other stages slow so my Magnus was just a little bit too fast. You will either have to buy more upgrades or buy a skip. At all 3s you are below recommend a PR and cannot lower the difficulty at this point. 2 more upgrades should put you over recommend PR, then quit & retry should make it easier. Fortunately, this is a good investment car. Not only is it in 3 series including an exclusive series, it’s been in 6 time trial competitions where it has always been the top car. I would try taking the body upgrades up to 5 of 5. With body and engine there are still 1 more R$ upgrade for each.
One note about race 6.4: For the game to acknowledge that you were the one that run Zoe ("Magnus") out of the track, you need to be next to her car the whole time. Basically you need to see for yourself the behaviour of the AI when you are next to them. I tried punting her from the back and pit maneuvers several times. It didn't count. But slowly pushing her outside from the side worked.
For 2.3 you don't have to win, just overtake the nissan 3 times. I finished in last and still passed the goal.
For 4.4, you can reach the required speed comfortably and still have enough room for braking at R$ upgrades. No need to drift to slow down.
In 7.2, for building average speed, just weave the car left and right slightly as that increases the distance covered on track.
9.2 was what I found needed upgrades and so I did upgrade it to 1333333 which was enough to finish the rest of the goals.

Oh and in the avg speed requirement you can go far more behind at hocken heimring and place at least 4th or 5th

Thanks again ME7, your videos are very helpful! I enjoy them. I was always against the skips, since you most of the times need to buy those upgrades anyway. But the economics about the skips do play in favour of the skips. btw, I did not do this event yet, so I`m not sure if I can do it with your upgrade scheme. My skill level is not even close to yours. If you do not buy the upgrades, but do buy a skip in stead. You save 320 gold on buying upgrades. You have to pay 80 gold to finish the event. If you wait for a sale for this car and it gets one for example 30% (last sale was in April 2022 with 40% off) you pay 224 gold for those upgrades in stead of 320 which saves you 96 gold. You payed 80 for the skip so overall you pay 16 gold less with the skip. If the sale percentage is higher it will only get better.
I've got 1233333 upgrades.. Expensive but worth it. Took about 360 gold and 1,500,000. This is the last event I'm doing and I've already completed the Ferrari and Audi ones. For anyone new or inexperienced please listen to this guy's advice on ONLY doing whats required for bot slowing. I had to spend a lot more on the events and race harder and even skip some stages and every single race I did the most. Never really occured to me until now.
9.3 was the worst😅 Magnus was ahead of me already with 27 meters
I have over 70 attempts on Stage 9.3 w/ a PR of 86.6...so frustrating
Some people are saying fail, leave the event, go back in and try again. Leave the event each time. One person said they only had to do that five times before it worked.
Race 9.3 is just brutal

Hey me7 how do you hold the car at the edge of its grip where the it is about to skid off? is that practice or is there tactic to do so? i use tilt control C at 0 sensitivity
It’s a lot of trial and error, making minor adjustments here and there. For instance, I just put out a time trial video where I had to change how I was taking certain corners. What you don’t see in these types of videos is the amount of times I fail. I’ve sometimes shown it just so people realize it’s way more failure than it is success. Last race stage 3 (Monza Senior ;) , I could only make speed required if I got the last corner just right and just made it prior to the toilet bend (S bend, lol).
I had 11/28 upgrades 1113131.
Had to do it like 20 times!!!
Mind you I didn’t do any robot slowing etc, but definitely will from now on with your guidance:)

Hey there. Sometimes bot slowing lowers targets, but other times it won’t. The particular stage you’re talking about had a fixed target, no way to lower it. However, there are stages where it can lower the targets and also make it so the bots you’re racing against are easier.

Any suggestions on how to get the bounce back perfect on 9.4? Either I bounce back too much and then it takes too long to get back up to speed/get going again, or bounce back too little/weirdly and just go off track! So tricky to nail it so any tips helpful!
You want to hit speed as soon as possible so you can get on the brakes, turn and not hit the wall too hard. So then it’s actually how you take the last corner before that speed run, need to come out of that corner as fast as possible.

Just completed 9.4 with 1331311, wow that was tough, had to get the bounce off the barrier perfect. 9.5 so far I'm about 3 secs off, sooooo tough! Skipped 9.3 obviously. Just completed with 1331311, 5.53.9 on last race, took me about 50 attempts...
I am stuck at 7.2. I cannot reach that average speed and be at least 3rd. Even when I came first by a huge margin, i could only managed 262kph average/ My car is fully upgraded. i noticed that ME7 only managed this by cutting corners. ME7 always does the minimum required. This time you came 1st by a huge margin. It's a flaw in the game if you have to go off track to proceed unless it's a requirement. For now I remain stuck at 7.2. Thanks for the nice videos ME7.
Hi there. Sorry you’re having trouble in that stage. It’s definitely possible while staying all on track. It’s just a matter of really utilizing the track, basically drive it like a time trial. I was below recommended PR at that point. I had 77.6 while recommended was 82.9. That means I would have to buy 5 more upgrades to get just over recommend a PR. At that point I would have no problem reaching average speed while keeping it clean. I have a fully upgraded version of this car in my other account and I haven’t done the event yet. I’ll try to remember to record that footage so you can see it. I’ll try to get to it today.
There is a glitch in the game at 9.3... I'm over the required PR already, and even now Magnus is 37 metres away in a few seconds from the start. I retried many times, no difference. The car isn't faster at all after many upgrades spent only for this one.

I will skip. I've never had the same issue on any required PR events. And I'm not sure at all they will fix it. It's a good way to force you to spend more gold, or even to buy gold.

6.2 is actually possible with 1111111 upgrades without off track
But probably need to have a top group B time to do it
And 6.3 you can hit speed at Stowe without drifting, but you need a really perfect exit
6.4 I actually did a pit maneuver at it let me pass the stage
For 7.4, the minimum speed you have to slow down is to 374kph
I have been playing rr3 for bout 9 months (with breaks) and I’ve been doing deez events for quite some time. I did the Ferrari event with same upgrades as me7 and I had to skip 2 races in stage 9. So u get the idea that it’s hard for me to finish some races. I watched almost the full video but which races could be a problem for me?
The problem is Stage 9 Race3. To finish this without skipping, you should go to all tier 3 upgrades right away. Then you finish each race as close as possible, like I discuss in the video. The other option is to go with less upgrades like I did, and skip that race. Even with the upgrades I mentioned, that race can be hard simply because of how it starts. I show 2 different versions of completing stage nine which you can navigate in the timestamp links.

Corning and braking can be improved by watching time trial videos, and practicing. I’ll put a link at the end of this comment to a playlist of time trial videos.
Currency management can’t be difficult. It’s good to wait for upgrade sales whenever you can. There’s a webpage that can help you to know which cars to upgrade heavily and which cars don’t even need them. It takes a bit to wrap your head around this page but it’s very helpful. I used it a lot when I was working my way through the game. ME7, can you try to do the ‘endless’ endurance race for the 2014 LMP1s in the Prototypes 2014 season at Circuit de Catalunya? I almost reached the perpetual point, but I couldn’t do it.
The first thing I look at is the earnings. It only pays 700 fame per lap when you keep it all on track. Of course you have to take some cuts and it’s just over one minute per lap.
I compare that to the MP4-X version that pays 1100 fame per lap when you keep it on track. It’s also a faster car. In that one I was earning 1000 fame per minute. Based on that the approximate earnings would just be 500 to 600 per lap. There are many other races that pay more than that and are easier to run so I’ll skip it.

I used to actually race all tracks backwards because certain events required it. Interestingly enough, that’s sometimes where you find more speed then if you run the tracks forwards.
Event 9.3 - any suggestions in driver assists? i have upgraded to 3333333. but its tough only, magnus is not slowing down initially.
Back when I did this in 2018 I ended up needing 3353333. There is one trick that I didn’t use which some people say helps. I forgot about it until after I was done. Instead of doing quit & retry do the following. Quit, exit the event and go back in. Some of told me they did this 5 times and got a slower Magnus. Now that might’ve just been a coincidence but it’s worth a shot.
EDIT:Another factor is getting Magnus in a red car. Seems like he’s slower in the red car for some reason according to other videos I’ve seen.

@@ME7_RR3 Finally won the event, 9.4 was even tough with 3353333 upgrades, but that trick worked by quitting the game and going back in instead of retrying the same. Despite the trick working, out of my excitement of Magnus getting slowed down, I went off track in a couple of races, and again Magnus slowed down, and this time i won, and finally won the car too. Thanks once again for tips. 😀
This was the first car challenge I played and it kicked my butt. It been about 3years now and I've gotten much better at this game now...Time for revenge
1:03:55 that race was very easy with 1333333 upgrades. I completed it with my first try. On my first attempt Magnus was only 15 meters ahead of me.

Lots of practice.
It really is lots of practice. Finding speed isn’t easy. When people think about speed, they only think about the straightaway. However, multiple things impact your speed on the straightaway.
-You’re straightaway speed is dependent on how are you exited the last corner
-Your exit is dependent on how you drove through the last corner
-Your drive-through is dependent on how you entered the last corner
So as you can see, being fast on the straightaway means you had to be thinking about it before you even entered the corner before that straightaway. Then there’s the matter of trial and error in figuring out the fastest way through a corner. More often than not it involves getting on the brakes a little bit earlier than expected.
A great way to learn about this is watching time trial videos, where I detail my braking and acceleration points. For most cars I use the same points, just tweak them a little bit. Here’s a whole playlist of them.

Still stuck at 9.3.
Tried like 30 to 40 times, but Magnus isn't slowing down at all. Maybe he will get his 33m advantage 5 metres later sometimes, but that's it. He just get's his 33 metres.
I already have the car, so it's only for the gold, but to have to quit 3 races before the end is really frustrating.
I'm on 3333333 since the first time the car was introduced to RR3 and I definitely know that I will nail 9.4 and 9.5, but to skip 9.3 for 80 gold just to get like 20 gold back is just not worth it.
I will try to start 9.3 a couples of times over and hope the speed of Magnus decreases, but I think it won't happen for me this time.
Definitely not worth skipping for the small reward. Some people told me they got a slower Magnus, when they would quit, exit the event and then go back in and try the race again. That’s different than the quit retry method I was using. It might just be a coincidence but a couple of people said it took them 5 to 10 tries. It might be worth a shot, otherwise I wouldn’t waste much more time on it.
I'm in the same boat, already own the car at all 3s. I've tried quit/retry and quit/continue/retry with no luck so far, but I'll keep trying!
Don’t y’all find it strange that this car has a top speed of 240 mph with base stats while its real life top speed is claimed to be 211? Nevertheless, I’m absolutely loving this car! 😁
Stats are obviously taken from a modified Porsche 911 GT2 RS (the Mantley racing one).
I agree, seems to be modelled after the “MR” edition. It’s possible that’s what it was supposed to be called, but then maybe the license didn’t allow them to use the MR (for Manthey-Racing). They must’ve decided to just leave it as is.

The endless endurance races aren’t great for this car. However, it is featured in 3 series, including an exclusive series. on top of that it’s been in six time trial competitions, and every time it was the best car. So there’s a good chance of earning currency in this car.

In 9.3 i stuck with Magnus in my first try with all 3 upgrades but then i messed up in the chicane and after that i tried like 30 times but he kept getting away so i decided just to skip
I had The same situation. In first try he was quite close on start straight, but i messed up at the end of first lap. Since then he pulls away everytime And I get red banner between 4.9 - 6.5s after The start. He pulls away everytime. Restarts do not work. +100 tries. Same story. I’m all 3rd level upgrades, but dont have Gold to skip. That’s just sad.

I ended up with 3353333 for upgrades. That is definitely more expensive than skipping but this is not a bad car to fully upgrade.

Try pushing him off track only once and then never let anyone else pass you. To push him off twice means you let him re-pass you. I think that might be the glitch in the stage.

I think on stage 4.2 you don't have to win, at least it's not written in the requirements, which means it's easier to maintain the bot difficulty low

Some people retried 50+ times before they got a slow Magnus. That will slowly wear down your car, so cloud save first. When service bars run out, cloud restore. The other option is buy more upgrades or skip. Back in 2018 when this first ran I needed PR 87.5 which is upgrade path 3353333 when reading from left to right. 5 Body upgrades and 3 for the rest. Even then I had to retry several times.

This car is one of the best to have for time trial. In all of its six WTT and one TTC, it has been best in every single one of them. Not only that, no car has not even gotten close to beating it as far as I'm aware. For many, this is one of the best cars to have in the game. It's a hard event, but in the long run, it may be worth it.
41:49 As far as I know, the Bridge Circuit is no longer in use, so I wouldn't think so? Maybe with the International/GP junction.
Edit: For 6.4, I think you need to break the car. I had the same issue first time around, I nudged "Magnus" off at Copse, don't think I broke any of his car while doing that, and failed. Then I smashed into Stowe like you did and passed.
I believe that this car has never lost a single thing against whatever it has been paired up against.

Purchase wise, no, as it only has one series plus the exclusive (which requires a hefty 1800 gold to fully upgrade). Its event is recommended PR and it is possible to do without upgrades. I would say to wait for a flashback or large sale.@@dipesh8836
@@dipesh8836 if you only had the gold to just buy it then no. Sales like these are meant for you to take advantage of the cheaper upgrade prices.
If you were able to buy and max it out, then it is a decent investment as you can gain some of that gold back. If you only bought the car, then it was a bad investment.

Why they give this brutal stages. No offtrack + no skidding for a long race will be a disaster for me. I will just buy more upgrades.
Back then it’s how developers were doing it. Most events back then were like this, for several years actually.
hm... 9.3. with all 3's upgrades.. give it around 30 tries, then skip. Magnus wasn't slowing. Each and every one attempt fail the same way :(
The task you do to help people understand how to play is precious but doing it on a new account is wasting time when you are playing more than hours a day and you could earn more money on your actual account.

There are a couple of possibilities.
One is that you unlocked the event and then didn’t enter it until the 3 hours expired. That’s exactly what happened to me and my other account.
Sometimes the servicing doesn’t kick in until you finish the first race. If it isn’t there after you’ve done the first race, you should do a cloud, restore and try again.
