Upgrades Complete 90.9!
Hi ME7, thanks for this video after my post yesterday. I have just managed to scrape through 7.2 without any attempts to cut corners, after about 20 attempts. I loose total control of the car when I attempt to cut a corner like you do. My ending though was hilarious as I paused the race just before the last corner to remove all assists as this is where I had been loosing my average speed. I cut the two last corners and lost the car completely. I think i was going backwards when I crossed the line at 270.2 kph average speed..

LOL, that’s awesome! I’m glad you made it through. Corner cutting is actually a big reason why I finally took on assist racing. That’s when I would run the 10 lap Le Mans race every single day, often twice a day. Cutting just made the race go by faster for farming purposes. However, if you try to cut with steering assist on or brake assist, it’s just a disaster.

@ralstan what for? There’s absolutely no challenge. I don’t do a limited series videos. You’re forced to buy certain upgrades to even finish the event. Hi ME7, speaking about the upgrade sales thing, how possible do you that on January 1st when the F1 time trial begins we could see a upgrade sale on the F1 Cars.
I'm going to fully upgrade my RB19 when the time trial begins, and maybe the SF23 if there is a upgrade sale.
No chance at least this update. There hasn't been an F1 sale since the 2020 cars.

Too much hacking
Not under the current format. Quite a while back they ran two tests to see how it would go. I have no idea what they were doing in the background, but they must have been trying a solution. There still ended up being a lot of hacking and then they get bombarded with complaints. it makes the whole game look bad so then they shut it down again.
I have actually advised them just to remove that from the game because people keep asking why it’s there.
Now the game development has moved to India and it’s possible they might have different ideas that might work. I’m not sure, but I think that the India team is larger and possibly runs more games. That means they might have more experience to draw from. This last paragraph is just me guessing. They are definitely has been no official update about this area for a year or so.
This is my upgrade for this car 3331313 - 17/28, but stuck at 8.1 - Elimination.
I suggest adding more upgrades, you’ll need them for 9.3. Take all your upgrades to 3’s. Even then you might have to restart race 9.3 a bunch of times to get a slower Magnus. Some people are telling me completely leaving the event and coming back in. Can get you a slower Magnus. That’s all for stage 9.3.
I’m paying the price for not waiting for your video to minimise upgrades.

I had all 3's in 9.3, I didn't know but I was lucky in my first attempt... But I hit Magnus too hard and I passed him, then I think I tried for 20-30 times and wasn't lucky anymore, I had to spend gold and skip it.
Mission 4/4 at 63% just doesn’t work for me… so frustrating and i do exact the same you do in the clip, i give up :/
You will probably need all tier 3 upgrades for stage 9.3, or very close to that. Could just buy them now, then take it easy still until 9.3. That is if you’re not going to skip any stages.
I usually run all assists off but does anyone think the very last stage (9.5) might work with traction control on?
I’ve got my braking points all worked out but it’s hard not lighting up the back end powering out of tight corners. Help!!
I honestly feel that traction control WILL slow you down. You actually have a thin line between having traction and losing your rear end. That won't be counted as a fail. But I think with traction control, the car will slow down at that moment too, which will make you go slower.
At least that's what I experienced
Guess what? With traction control ON I successfully completed the last stage! Completely agree that turned on it usually slows you down. Slow to get on the gas, sluggish out of corners etc…
That fact that I DID complete with assists completely proves I’m a pretty lame driver! 🤣
Good job, it actually makes sense. The interesting thing about traction control is that it only comes on when you start to lose it a decent amount. You probably didn’t have it engage during the entire race.
You can still skid with traction control on, it will just come on at that point and nail the brakes. It’s not intelligent traction control like you have in modern cars, where there is braking on just one side of the car to correct a skid. That’s why it’s really not a benefit because it’s just another level of brakes. If you’re pretty close on your braking points, it can act as a bit of a safety net.
on stage 6, I tried to hit Magun out of the track at the 2nd lap, and won the race without letting anyone to pass me in the 2nd lap as well, but somehow the game won't let me pass, don't know why
It seems to be a bit glitchy. Make sure you stay in second place for all of lap one. Then do what you said, hit Magnus off track and stay in the lead. Try that a couple of times and see if it lets you pass.

I see it in every video where ME7 used the 13 Pro Max.
Very observant of you guys. Anything done on my new account is on an iPhone XR. So that would be any flashback events that I’m doing from scratch. All other gameplay is on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I try to differentiate that in the videos.
I have to have the accounts on separate devices or it creates a disaster. Tech-support had warned me that having two accounts on one device could cause them to merge. That happened to me! I had to restart my new account over again at that point. Thankfully, I had only earned one car, but it was gone and it was my fault. I’m glad it didn’t ruin my other profile that is huge and I’ve had since 2015.
I've got upgrades of all 3s, but still can't get lucky with Race 9.3
Same here. All 3s, Magnus always starts with 19-20m advantage and pulls away. 200 tries at least. So what I did, I've just spent 125Gold and some R$ to make 3353333 cos i didnt want to skip and now he is even faster. Starts with 20m and he is gone. Damn. And i've been slowing bots whenever possible. I have 0 Gold now.
Oh wow, that’s nasty. I went and looked at my original video series for this event from 2018. I ended up having to buy the same upgrades you did and it was still difficult. If you can find a way to get some more gold by levelling up or something like that, you might want to just buy a skip. Then you could file a ticket and ask for that gold back. Take a screenshot of how much the skip will cost you. Are you at recommended PR with those upgrades?? If so, then that will increase the chances of you getting your gold back. @@ME7_RR3 decided to do a cloud restore of the whole event, to try a different strategy. Thankfully it worked
@@ME7_RR3 Hi ME7. With 3353333 I'm just above recomended PR. What's more important, after 2 days and close to 400 retries I did it. What I've figured out, in my case pressing RETRY after failing to stay behind Magnus did never weaken him, he always flew away. Although pressing CONTINUE and reentering event put him bit closer few times per 100 tries (19m). Still only once he was close enough to catch up, but that was all I needed. After first turn it was an easy stage. Later 9.4 and 9.5 I did almost instantly (first and second try). Thank you for all the videos and comments you make.
@@ME7_RR3did the event with upgrades 1331333, and skipped 9.3, so technically, i saved 60 gold, bcoz the other 2 gold upgrades were 75+65 gold which adds up to 140, and the skip is worth 80 gold, so I'm happy to earn this beauty

So it’s possible to just blast through all the races in a special event with a recommended PR using a fully upgraded car? How can one do this in just a few tries?
It depends on a persons skill level. With most recommended PR events I run into people who have trouble even if they’re fully upgraded. That’s usually due to driving with heavy assist on. It was really easy for me. I ended up having to retry 3 races just because I was sloppy and went off track. Most of them I did my first try.
ME7 can you tell the creators that I missed out nascar I’m sad 😭.

@@nicolewattsabbott3227 unfortunately I don’t think we will ever see a NASCAR flashback. The license changed years ago, which had them redo the series, lock the cars for those who don’t have them and make all future NASCAR content limited time access only. I don’t think it’s their decision to make, probably part of a legally binding contract.

Those hyper cars are just too slow😉. This car seems to be modelled after the Porsche 911 GT2 RS “MR” edition. It’s possible that’s what it was supposed to be called, but then maybe the license didn’t allow them to use the MR (for Manthey-Racing). They must’ve decided to just leave it as is.
I actually quit for this car cuz I need upgrades which I dont have and Its very expensive literally unfair dude
