Bro, video editing in 1080p? That's like nothing for these macbooks. Im using my macbook pro m1 13 (16gb ram) for professional video editing in 4k multicam (4-5 cameras) and it works perfectly, never had any problems with it. Such a beast. 11/10.

Still my daily driver with 16gb of ram. Not a big fan of the Touch Bar or the low volume speakers but still gets the job done so I hope it continues to get a lot of more years of software support.
Same here I got it when it released In 2020 used it all through college and have never had an issue with it. I’ve also used it a lot while plugged into a monitor closed and no overheating issues whatsoever.
Which doesn’t really make sense, because the previous models had much hotter Intel CPUs inside, while the M-series barely gets warm during normal usage

Is m1 air significantly lighter than the pro

Im able to run Skyrim Special Edition, Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Minecraft, Outer Wilds, Yugioh Master Duel, World of Warcraft, Balatro etc Fantastic laptop if you get it for a good price. I picked up a pretty beat up one for $600 used in late 2022. 8GB 512GB Storage with 1.0TB Case Byte Snap-On Case.
I do not like Touch Bar and charging port and keyboard and Touch Bar.i prefer magnetic charging plot and those more of ports, but new MacBooks design is not beautiful as old design,so it made me keep old design Macs.i would change Mac there is new Mac design.

i love it too, but since it was a premium it was too much work for other devs to adapt for only a select few who got the premium, I love mine tho.

What did you do with your late 2013 MacBook Pro and do you notice much of a difference between that and this one during normal use?
This is definitely more snappier in loading things like apps and web pages. The 2013 is what I would consider usable, but not amazing.
