Yep, been using the Mavic Air for a year already with Scanifly. Wish I had this video to explain how to use the POI feature in fly app to start but I figured it out. It's pretty intuitive to use but please note you'll have to press the shutter button manually and a lot of times. So maybe do your finger push-ups lol.
Hey bro great video, just one questions, once I've gathered all photos like you have described. How do I convert all the images into a model like so?? Is there a software that generates all my images into a 3d model? Thankyou
Hi, ist there any possibility in the DJI Fly App to combine the POI Mode with serial shots (for example one shot all 2 sec.)? I am using the Mavic 3 and Air 2S now but I don't like the Fly App. When I am using the Mavic 2 Pro with the Go 4 App the POI Mode is much better and more accurate because you can exactly fly to the point and lock it, adjust the speed in m/sec. and also correct the position during the flight-mission if necessary. That is missing in the new Fly App and that's really bad. I often have to check roofs, have to build 3D Models and maps for measuring. Therefor I have to fly close and the circles are small but I need at least 50 to 70 images - so its important to set the speed as low as possible. Sadly the Mavic 2 pro will not be produced anymore and with the new drones we only have the Fly App (and Third Party Apps) but wich one can do it like that? Maybe there is someone who has an idea. Thanks for your great Videos and greetings from Germany. Joe
Did you ever find a workable solution? I’m piloting the Air 2s to create 3D models of cell towers and have come up short looking for an option the combines reliable orbits with locked gimbal angle, and captures images every 2 seconds. If you found something that works I’d be most appreciative.
@@peterhdge The only options with the Fly app is to fly via POI mode or by hand. You have to release the shutter yourself at intervals to take the photo. Alternatively, you can use the Hyperlapse mode to use the photos taken automatically at intervals. It is important that you specify in the hyperlapse mode (circles) that you also want to save the individual photos. You even have the choice between RAW and JPG. JPG is enough for us. However, you have to mark the area you want to circle on the screen. This always leads to inaccuracies. Unfortunately, you cannot make corrections in flight with this automatic mode. I am very annoyed that the good solutions that you had with the Go4 app (and the corresponding drones) are no longer available with the new drones. I'm almost assuming it's economic policy, because DJI said to me: "If you need such functions, then you have to buy an enterprise model!" Conclusion: If you want to do such things or have to do them professionally and you don't want to buy an enterprise model, then you either buy a Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 or a used Mavic 2 Pro, since this drone is unfortunately no longer produced. (this is the best model in terms of price/performance anyway) Best regards from Germany Joe
Hi. I want to create orthophoto with dji air 2s. Do you know a program that will create a flight plan and provide support? There is no software support because the device is new. Could you help.
Yes. But to my knowledge, it can’t be combined with POI tracking. I’m searching up and down for a solution. It’s something I do manually multiple times a day.

Cool tips! I think will help me a lot, gonna try.
Congratulations from Brasil 🇧🇷
Excellent, easy to fly video. Subscribed.
Thanks I needed this!!!
Very nice place. I really want go.
Great video and this may seem a dumb question, but what software or how do you sitch all the photos together to create the 3d model
Hi! You may use DJI Terra, Agisoft Metashape, RealityCapture, Recap Photo and others.

Will the air 2s follow a flight mission from the DJI GO app?
I just bought a 2s air,
Can anyone tell me if I can measure area with it please? Eg the size of a paddock
Can u do a video on how to do the 3d model
Great idea, its a shame you can’t automate the captures etc though. Can you do this using the RC pro handset ?
You can with the hyper lapse feature. Not sure why he didn’t use it.

Is quality photogrammetry possible with the Mavic Air 2? Or would a more capable drone be needed such as the Air 2s / Phantom 4 pro?
mavic air 2 is supported by dronedeploy, so I suppose it is usable enough.
GPS, RPK, and image quality matter most above specific model or manufacturer.
Great video, I’ve been using the Air 2 S for a month. What program or software do I need to make the 3D model.
The friggin App Developer is who released this video you're watching, and obviously not paying attention to.
HI. Wait, as of today 09/11/23 you can use Waypoints and set it up to shoot photos at each Waypoint, right? Thanks.
How to Fly Automatic.. please share
Mavic 2 Pro vs Air 2S ??
air2s drone deploy programında kamerası görülmüyor
bunu nasıl düzeltebiliriz ?
drone deploy destek vermiyor şuan

@@peterhdge hyperlapse maybe?
