Hello, I am from Pennsylvania and for Christmas we usually have Turkey and another meat usually Beef with many side dishes. And, for New Year we have Pork. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you!
Hello Moriyan and Suzu and Merry Christmas again. Here in Italy we eat a lot both on the eve, the dinner of the 24th, and for lunch on the 25th. In my house we always eat fish-based on Christmas Eve, while meat-based food on the 25th. On Christmas Eve we typically eat octopus salad, shrimp in pink sauce, baby sardine fritters, fried calamari, roasted cuttlefish, you name it. Everything then ends with panettone, sparkling wine and truly amazing desserts, but luckily for me only on the 24th do we eat so much :) . Every now and then we break up with a game of cards or bingo, but the important thing is to be together with the family. Your early Christmas was also very nice. See you soon.

This morning for my Christmas breakfast I made my first Tamagoyaki with my new square pan and square spatula. I put diced ham and cheese in it. I have to say my first one turned out really well and it rolled nicely. I've also have been adding Nori Komi Furikake season toppings to my rice. It is delicious and adds wonderful flavor. Thank you for sharing your easy to follow recipes for they make me feel confident and brave to try new Japanese food to cook at home. I like your new Kotatsu, it's such a great way to keep warm. En France, nous mangeons, pour le réveillon, des fruits de mer ou de la dinde ou du Chapon (selon les moyens de chacun bien sûr). Mais le plus important, c'est d'être entouré des personnes qu'on aime et de passer un bon moment tous ensemble.
Pour ma part, j'ai cuisiné un bon chapon farci au foie gras, au pain d'épice et aux clémentine. C'était délicieux.
