brooo - as a fellow ISFJ (unofficial/suspected), dont stop making these videos T_T i just subscribed. there is waaaay less content about us here. And waaaaay less videos to squash our "boring" rumors. lol your videos are fun! hahaha people forget we have Ne as the fourth function - which explains your random ass intro hahahahahaha love it.
Love this -- I'll be planning more ISFJ videos in the near future, uh just let me get over this "I am overwhelmed with things even though in reality it's more simple than I make it out to be" phase lmao. But yes, thank you for stopping by ✨
Oh? Interesting -- I usually hear this described about introverted intuition. I'm quite flattered you think this about Si haha. You have Si in your cognitive stack, too, but I'm guessing you're curious as to how this functions as a dominant function? 🌿
@@mystamystic yes, I’m curious about it as a dominant function, and mostly if it comes accompanied with extroverted feeling. I think because introverted sensing is more grounded in reality than introverted intuition, it’s like the old essence of the world. Jung said that Si feels like if you have lived an eternity or experienced more if you are very introverted in the sensing, that sounds so interesting, it also says that objects are perceived with an essence on its own as if they can comunícate something personal, it’s like reality covered with essence, and it also says they can see the archetypical world which I always wanted to understand . That combined with Fe, sounds to me like a wise creature that caries a huge burden as well as the secret of humanity in its essence, that understands the human feelings, pain and human experience at its core, but its humble at the same time and hides it. I idealize it to much I guess but in essence that’s what I perceive with my extroverted intuition. Also the look of some ISFJs I have noticed to be kind of beautiful, mysterious, nostalgic and tired. Not all ISFJs are that interesting or have dug so deep as to discover all their inner magic, and some can’t see it for themselves. As an INFP I value what they have, I value my Si and combined with introverted feeling it gives the personal experience su much color and intensity in a very personal way, but the sensing part it the most mysterious to me for sure, and I have been exploring it lately
4:45 this part is very relatable. Whenever I'm working on something "intricate or systematic" or if I have to come up with new ideas, I always do a lot of previous research, as if I was working with lego blocks and I had to examine each particular piece before being able to build anything. Sometimes I wish I wasn't like this because it is a very time consuming process, but at the same time it makes me feel sure and I'm happy with the outcomes. I remember when I was writing my master's degree dissertation. I complied a huge amount of bibliography -probably too much-. Obviously, I had to cut it down a bit, and it took me a while to get through all the sources. However, after that, the rest of the process was just a matter of finishing everything and connecting those ideas as I had a clear idea of what needed to be done, sort of.
Yes yes yes. This is the hallmark of an Si-Ti pairing. I read a comment somewhere (I might have taken a screenshot of it in one of my videos, actually), that the Si-Ti pair is like building your ideas from the ground up-- you place great importance in wanting to be really sure of one thing, as if this is a prerequisite of the next thing that builds on that. Like the branch of mathematics as a system. Or the slow burn pacing of a great series. Something like that lol
My dad (istj) describes his view of life like a puzzle, and the more you learn the more it builds it, and after a long time you realize that the whole puzzle is full and connected to itself and it can be understood. Do other Si users see life like this? If yes does the puzzle need to be clear for you to trust it? (what i mean is do you need to be sure of every piece/guess as little as possible?)
To me it seems like what you described will happen a lot. It mainly happens with things that seem most relevant or necessary or whatever brings tranquility. But once I'm sure of an element, or how this puzzle piece fits this other one, I wouldn't have to think about it much anymore. Sort of like a complex math concept -- if I know the prerequisite concepts that lead me to the fuller understanding of this complex math concept, I wouldn't have to go through said prerequisites again and again. Same could be said about a synthesis of a chemical molecule, or the plant cells that make up a leaf, or the drops that make a puddle.
I think you misinterpreted the quotes at 1:15. Jung doesn't say that Si is unpredictable or arbitrary, but that the intensity of how strongly it relates to outside events and objects can appear arbitrary. I think that interpretation fits better with your own explanation of Si. It certainly fits my own experience (as an ISTJ) much better.
Ah yes, thanks for that -- sounds slightly clearer the way you put it. I focused more on intensity than unpredictability and so I might have left a few screws loose.
Other than myself and this guy Jason Oshea (an ISTJ), I'm not too sure. There's bound to be some reddit forums or something... eh, sorry, trying to fill the void Edit: Correction, he's an ISFP. So uh yeah so far you're stuck with me which is a nightmare situation to be in

I am an si dom and the dejavu feeling is always there most times ..but the intensity of it depends upon how much focus i gave to the surrounding that I remember it another time I am in the situation again For eg : when I was a child ,i got lot of dejavu in my home cause i was more focused on my environment...but nowadays I am in autopilot mode at home , so not much dejavus
It will, and perhaps in a situation neither of us have anticipated... edit: also super random but congrats for 100 subs❤️ lmao just wanted to point that out
Exactly! When the supposed zombie apocalypse happens, I believe that will be the time for the floatation device to shine 😂 And 100?! oh my gosh, thank you! Last I checked a couple months ago, I saw 70 subs. I think my random pupper video resonated with people because she's such a cute little derp. Also, I can't remember if I actually congratulated you on 2k. I know I have done so repeatedly in my brain hole, but maybe not out loud. So just in case.. CONGRATULATIONS ON 2k+!! 😆❤️🎉
@@mystamystic cool cool. It’s always cool to see when two of my interests collide in someone else. Great video btw! It’s great to hear about Si from someone who is actually an Si-dom, something sorely lacking in the mbti community. Si-doms get stereotyped so much and I think it’s pretty obvious that those stereotypes are inaccurate. (I mean, supposedly ISTJs and ISFJs are the most common types, but anyone into typology usually feels like they don’t know very many people of those types, because of relying on stereotypes too much) Love to all the Si-doms out there (from an INTP)! You’re almost always way cooler than your stereotype
@@theejofreality5312 Thanks! Yeah it rubbed me the wrong way to hear stereotypes that have almost nothing to do with how Si-doms actually function. I also didn't like others speaking for me, so out popped all the Si-dom content! INTPs are pretty cool (and more social than people think) and are way more than what their stereotypes portray ✨
@@mystamystic yes thank you that is one of the things that got me researching into cognitive functions. I am somewhat of an ambivert myself so a lot of the INTP stereotypes didn’t apply to me much
