@@demonofsixpaths2078 nah slade is deathstroke and definitely has powers. He has superstrenght on par with guys like capt america, and has a healing factor/regen, as well as i believe superhuman reflexes. He was pulling his punches on robin.

If my math is correct, you are absolutely correct! If we go by the average bar of gold weight traded internationally, it would be about 12.4 kg. And if the length matches the width of these gold cubes, that would be 8x8x24 gold bars, getting us to a nice total of 1,536 total gold bars per cube bulk, leading to the whole thing, not counting the platform he is also trying to lift with them, to be a whopping 19,046 kg! Meanwhile, even the heaviest elephant ever recorded, a male African savanna elephant, was only clocked in at a measly 10,886 kg. The pile of gold is nearly double the weight. Seems Mammoth needed a nice training arc between the two seasons if he wanted the gold so badly.
In regards to "Madam Rouge's mind is too twisted" this may not be related to her morality or psychology, but instead is referring to it quite literally being twisted into a different shape thanks to her abilities, rendering her brain too physically different for conventional mental abilities to take effect. I know you're only really using Teen Titans itself, but this does have a basis within greater DC continuity, as Plastic Man was Batman's strategy for if Martian Manhunter ever turned against the team in a fire-immune state. Plastic Man has superior shapeshifting, but more importantly to this consideration, by changing his brain's shape he can effectively resist MM's mental abilities as well. Madame Rouge might be doing the exact same thing here, as her abilities are almost exactly the same as Plastic Man's.
I didn't even know Cheshire was a character that existed before watching these videos, but she's already become one of my favorites. The way her movement flows, the fact that she pays homage to the legendary Cheshire cat while almost feeling like a spirit-like enemy or something, her attire with the big grinning mask and droopy sleeves, it's just all so good.

I don't think Mammoth got any weaker, an average African bush elephant weighs roughly 13k pounds, an average gold bar weighs 27.5 pounds, the stack of gold was 8 bars wide, (a min) of 7 bars long, and 24 bars tall, this means there was roughly 36,960 pounds of gold bars, which is 2.8 times more than the average African bush elephant
Interesting. I didn't see this before I commented a similar thing. I used the maximum elephant weight of 24,000 pounds (approximate for the largest on record) and pointed out that while we only see 7 deep, it wouldn't be unreasonable for them to be stacked 8*8. Either way, the pallet of gold bars were far heavier than Beast Boy likely was.
@mentaya11 Yea, I believe I was one of the first ones to comment on Mammoth's strength feat, and I did use the highest weight of the heaviest elephant on average and then only used the only gold we could see to give a rough but more accurate estimation of the strength feats side by side But yea either way it would make the gold bars feat and the elephant BB feat not very comparable imo
Well, it's certainly reasonable to only use what is seen, but it wouldn't inherently make it more accurate. The only way to know that would be to know which was closer to the actual value, which is unknown. Still, I just thought it was cool that others had had a similar idea.@@RobticRobyn
I think Tera is getting rocked by Brother Blood despite being stronger because I doubt she of all people would be able to resist his mental attack. This is the only time I think a villain lower on the list could topple one higher. Also who ever animated Punk Rocket was having a good time before that animation was fluid and some of the best I have ever seen.
3 months late cut there’s tons of misplacements. Brother blood has teleportation, mind control powers, telekinesis, and telekinetic construction. And his magic is a lot stronger than base raven’s magic, cyborg shot at him with an amplifier and his force field protected him, and if it was raven it would have broken her force field a few times over and knock her out. And he has high knowledge in technology, Terra’s powers are destructive, but his are easily more destructive due to his telekinesis, and his Magic’s strength being a lot above Terra’s magics strength, and he has knowledge in technology. So with preparation time he can probably be a god, with only raven in her demon or white form, trigon, malchior (depending on his power extent), maybe Larry, and maybe the witch could stop him. Black fire can fly faster than the speed of light (raven in starfires body flew into Robin at extreme speeds in switched, and that didn’t seem to be anywhere near her full speed.) and black fire has force fields, realistically only brother blood, malchior, skath slade, maybe mother Mae eye, maybe the witch, trigon, and so on could stop her. Kyd wykkyd deserves top 10. Jinx deserves much higher. Malchior is probably above skath slade. And so on.
55:45 "Blackfire keeps claiming she was always the better fighter." I'm pretty sure she only claimed that in her debut ep at the climax and Starfire retorted with "Not anymore" and then proved it. She was the better fighter when they were growing up, but when they reunite, it is clear that Starfire matured into a better fighter and proved it. I don't think Blackfire says it after the debut episode.

Kid Wicked's powers should make him incredibly powerful. Being able to instantly hit anyone or be anywhere within a specific range almost instantly is very high level stuff, he just needed to be physically stronger or have some equipment to push him over
I left this comment on your other Titan video, but Borhter Blood's downfall was using Cyborg's tech for himself. That's what allowed Cyborg to flip the tables seemingly out of nowhere. It is the same tactic that Holland Spiderman used on Doc Ock: take over their tech because your tech is better. Brother Blood's tech was, iirc, a derivative of Cyborg's own tech. Of course Cyborg would be able to wirelessly connect to it and control it. He just had to realize he could and have the willpower to overpower Blood's own control of the tech.
blood has some kind of magic ability. but was hooked up with cyborg parts. so i could see it as cyborg hacking into brother blood and using his own magic against himself. thats why you dont mix magic and tech in one body
I think Red X would probably be able to stop Tara if he wanted to. He has the unique ability to find the weaknesses in his opponents and parry's with a seemingly perfect counter weapon to do so with the agility and prowess of Robin. Red X quite literally acts like a "Mark of Skath Robin" in principal. He'd definitely have a hard time with Skath Slade and zero chance against Trigon, but against Tara...I'm pretty sure he'd be able to win.
probably but Robin probably could have stopped her too. he was doing pretty good in their first fight but he was trying to help her then and not fighting his hardest and in the 2nd round the team was together and then she ran off
True, Robin loses to Terra because he wanted to help her turn good again but Red x wouldn't care he'd probably just figure out that visibility is her weakness and shoot a X towards her eyes so she can't see plus he's equipped with many other gadgets if things start to get rocky.
I'd argue on Malchior for a couple reasons. First, Herald is using his horn defensively in that scene (if I remember correctly, he puts the gates behind opponents when on the offense), implying that Malchior was rushing behind his fire breath and got surprised. Second, we never actually see Malchior spellcasting in a fight. He has access to thousands of spells, but never once uses them. If we had confirmation they were weaker than his natural abilities or he was beaten while using them, it'd be a different situation, but it seems more like he didn't view his opponents as actual threats. I don't think he beats Blood or Slade simply because he wouldn't prepare while they would, but I think he's too resilient to normal damage for Rouge to be able to take him down (which is also why I think he beats the white monster).
I agree with your sentiment here, with one (technically 2) exceptions. I think his shear power, crazy durability, and monstrous access to magic would put him above Blood, and Slade. I mean, you obviously wouldn't say that Blood and Slade would be capable of taking down Trigon, because Trigon wouldn't bother preparing, while the two of them would. Its the same concept, just to a much lesser degree.
@@ikeillue8385 The difference is that Malchior's shown to be effectively defeated by mortal magic (from admittedly powerful mages), which Blood or Slade would not only be willing to seek out, but also do everything to make sure they get the chance to use it (Slade used magic in Forces of Nature and Blood went to extreme of modifying himself to beat Cyborg). Trigon, on the other hand, is actually at the point where all strategy is meaningless without the raw power of a cosmic-level entity or a mystic connection to him. I also didn't say Malchior wasn't a more dangerous threat. I'm just saying if it came down to a direct confrontation, I think it's likely Blood or Slade would have a 'dragon go away' button and they would be using as effectively as possible. And I fully think he could still win that fight because he could interrupt them before they use it on him. He just wouldn't know that's what he needed to do until they started.
@@Auron3991 Malchior was defeated by one specific spell, from one of the most famous sorcerers in history (assumedly he is one of the most powerful, if his legend is so well known.), that was specifically designed to, not overpower Malchior (because he couldn't overpower Malchior), but to temporarily seal him away. Frankly, I don't see Slade or Blood being capable of developing a spell of that magnitude, or even being capable of using a spell of that magnitude. I get that reasoning. I just think its not very likely that either of those characters would find access to such a power that would be required to do away with Malchior. Its possible, just unlikely.
Kind of off topic but raven is more powerful than malchior, trigon despite losing most of his power traveling to earth is still more powerful and more endurant than malchior, and white raven is supposed to be more powerful than trigon, so white raven and demon raven are more powerful than trigon. Even without the spells malchior taught raven, she is still immortal powerful than him. Also she already knew a ton of spells before malchior taught her spells, and she does have reality bending powers in the cartoon, as seen in fractured (what she said when she stole cyborgs mouth) And she can use her white soul self on malchior as seen at the end of the end part 3, but I am not sure if malchior taught her that pr not.
Trigon is the strongest and most powerful villain in the series because he's an inter-dimensional demon that has demonic magic and powers, and due to the fact that Raven was the only one to defeat him, since the fact that he powers came from him.
All I can say, which others have likely already said is Malchior isn't exactly a fair case. Personally, The Herald removed Malchior from play, not defeat, nor trap him. I'd say while it's an impressive feat for The Herald to pull it off, it's not exactly a feat AGAINST Malchior.
Technical fouls dont discount their strengths and tactical weaknesses so I agree. Technically the harold can remove anyone who cant teleport fron a battle but doesnt make them any less strong. If he wanted to take everyone out he could just summon a blackhole like when he helped Raven.
I'd honestly be tempted to put the White Monster at #3 or #4 overall, its sheer level of hax gives most of the villains very little to do against it, Terra with Magma control might have enough power to roast it if it can even be damaged by normal physical means, since it seems to have the ability to cancel out most normal physical attack methods, kinda like some weaker version of Amazo, but I definitely think that Skath Slade and Trigon would just magic it out of existence since there's only so many elements you can adapt with against literal multi-dimensional magic and reality warping.....
Madams rouge was able to extend her arms really fast, has regeneration and tons of resistance, I think she could take the white monster. Malchior might be above skath slade, we never see the full power extent for either (or even anywhere close) I think malchior could destroy it. I think Mumbo, Mother Mae Eye, and Mad Mod could take it. Black fire is faster than light, has extreme extreme superhuman endurance, a lot of strength, energy blasts, eye beams, force fields (or at least spheres) so I think black fire could take it. Maybe brother blood could mind control it. Jinx is really fast seen when she attacked madame rouge the first time, I think jinx could take it. Kyd Wykkyd’s cape is strong, and he can teleport pretty fast, and has portals, I think he could take it.
White Monster might be #1 if it could also copy magic abilities. Maybe it would just copy the connection Raven has to Trigon and curbstomp him. It did copy bricks which are not exactly an element.
Personally, I would put Malchior higher. We have never actually seen him beaten by any means, short of removal hacks. His 3 canon losses were all him being taken by surprise by said hack. His first loss, he had no way of knowing that there was a spell capable of sealing him away. His second loss, he was clearly surprised by the fact that Raven actually learned the above mentioned spell. And his third loss, he would have no reason to be aware of The Herold's dimensional manipulation abilities. Are we really going to sit here and say that, based on what he taught raven in his episode (even up to and including things like the ability to forcibly transform a shape shifter against his will), Malchior wouldn't have been capable of stopping The Herold from using his trumpet, or getting the trumpet away from him? I think we would be getting a good fight between Malchior and Skath Slade, with the edge going to Malchior, due to his versatility in spellcasting. I don't think Malchior would be able to kill Skath Slade, but I don't think Slade could put Malchior down either (due to him being basically an immortal, multi thousand year old dragon), but I'm sure with all the magical tombs that it was eluded to that Malchior has read, he would be capable of finding a spell that would remove Skath Slade from the equation.
Malchior is the second most powerful behind trigon A few might argue that malchior is more powerful than trigon, but trigon had lost much of his powers from traveling to earth, that’s why the titans we’re able to damage him, and why raven took him down with no effort. And raven didn’t us her full power extent (or anywhere close to it) on raven or malchior. Against malchior any time the titans hit him the titans damaged him more than trigon. His fire breath is stronger than white ravens magic, but raven now knows all of his spells, plus a ton more, and already had a lot of powers before that. And can warp reality. And we never saw malchior really use his spells in battle. We don’t know how strong his magic is, but raven has more spells than him. Raven could use telekinesis on malchior, use her soul self, banish him to another dimension, use her astral projection, trap him in portals, (not force fields, portals so that way he can’t break through her force fields), use spells on him, us lightning on him non stop, etc. Also some people ask why trigon needed raven yo become a portal for him, it’s because he was imprisoned. And then he lost much of his power on earth. So that’s why he was weak in the last episodes. And malchior fire breathe is stronger than white raven magic, but he isn’t. And he hasn’t used his magic, and raven has more spells than him. And raven only shot beams, used a force field, threw a piece of the tower, and used lightning on him. And that lightning power doesn’t seem that power, she could probably replicate it in her blue form. Raven has sooo many spells, we haven’t seen malchior use spells or magic, and raven already has several powers. Malchior would need pretty powerful magic to stop ravens soul self, or he would need soul draining magic.
I think my fav is See more just on how interesting on how his eye abilities are. I always liked seeing the different eye powers he did because it was so weird. I also liked Madame Rouge because I'll admit I also thought she was sexy.
Red X is in the top 10 so I'm happy. Though a small detail is I think Cinderblock could be placed above atlas, since Cinderblock has been shown to match blows with Cyborg AND the other 4 titans consistently, while Atlas was beat by cyborg flat out. That is all
12:24 Trident has to be one of my favorite villains alongside Fang (purely for the fight with Robin) and Billy Numerous. “I am perfection. I am excellence. I am Trident” I used replay that scene multiple times in a row. Have no idea why it made me crack up so much.
Gizmo was always my favourite villain, he had so many cool inventions that were theoretically powerful, but always came up a step or 2 short of victory
Lol What’s the HUGE HATE for Brother Blood? 😂 he’s actually a pretty dope villain and in the comics WAY more powerful than displayed on the Teen Titans shows one of their BEST villains! But yes Trigon definitely is number 1
I don't hate him, but he does fall a bit flat compared to the other big bads. In the comics he's really dark and most closely associated with Raven, so perhaps it's not surprising they struggled to capture the essence of him in a child-friendly setting while shifting the association onto a very different Titan. At least with Slade and Terra, making them more child-friendly didn't require a total re-write of their characters. Meanwhile the Brotherhood of Evil originated in silver age Doom Patrol silliness, so would always be OK for kids. As for Trigon... we can count our blessings that they did him properly, though they did cut out the extreme emotional trauma he put Raven through in the comics.
Blackfire is the number one villain in my heart. She's Starfire but with a little Raven mixed in there with a whole lot of fun and none of Starfire's goofiness.
I feel like Blackfire is severely underrated, if for no other reason than because she has the same stats as Starfire and therefore could be expected to produce the same feats.
Mumbo Jumbo has always been my favorite villain in this show, such cool powers and a really funny villain. Was glad to see he ranked decently well here
Great video! It was a ton of fun. I think your ranking is really great though as OP as madame rouge is, I would still put normal Slade above her. Though in a physical fight he doesn’t stand a chance, his psychological and manipulative tendencies seems like it would give him an edge since she is just a follower. He also could keep his distance pretty well with robots and the like. Not to mention her two biggest weakness of fire and ice seem like traps slade could manipulate her into if he put in the amount of effort and research he did with the titans. But great ranking, it was definitely a fun time listening. Thank you for making this video.
I agree that Slade could resist Blood's mind-control, but in a contest of martial arts skill, I can't see Slade lasting very long without some incredible weaponry. Remember, Blood sent Cyborg flying just by flexing his wrist and pierced his chest with just his middle and index fingers. And I can't imagine Blood's energy bolts being any less dangerous to Rouge than Hot Spot's flames. And if Blood is still all flesh and...well...blood then it's one less weakness for them to exploit.
Imagining Billy with a gun underestimates how scary he actually could be. Imagine if Billy had a set of quality bullet proof armor, a gun, and some sort of explosive weaponry. That basically creates a hivemind of well equipped soldiers, for the cost of one guy being well equipped. Now imagine him with some weird Sifi lazer thing, or one of the other villans on this lists weapons. He is a force multiplier. That is terrifying if you think of it
Madam Rogue was ruthless and I wished we got to see so much more of her. She reminds me of Mystique from X-Men. BTW… how about a X-Men Evolution strongest ranking?
Same here. Was disappointed to know she isn't 10% as frightening and ruthless in comics as in the series. Hoping one day at least her daughter (yes, she had one) achieves that level.
And who's to say the white monster would somehow be immune to the herald's portal? Malchior deserved at LEAST number 7, if not potentially higher, I personally can not see slade or madame rouge beating malchior.

The thing with the Herald beating Malchior is that... well, he didn't. He sent Malchior through a portal, something which doesn't seal or knock out or kill Malchior at all. Wherever that portal led to, it was probably a place where Malchior couldn't be defeated at all, so why would he bother coming back in the first place? There's another thing about Malchior, and that's that his knowledge and teachings triggered Raven to transform into the White Raven, the same form she used in defeating TRIGON. And he triggered that transformation FAR easier than Trigon did in The End. Really, it's honestly not that big of a surprise. Malchior said it himself, every single bit of magical knowledge that Raven has, came from HIM. I would honestly say that the portal sucking Malchior is a plot-hole. There is literally nothing that should stop Malchior from coming back through it and fighting again, the only possible explanation is that he simply chose not to. Ultimately, the Malchior conundrum can be described as PIS, or Plot Induced Stupidity. The Writers messed up when they chose to use Malchior in that battle, so instead of rehashing the entire deal of sealing him in the book AGAIN, they just had him get portaled away and ignored it entirely. Then there's the fact that, honestly, there'd be nothing stopping Herald from just sending the White Monster through a portal, or opening a portal in front of Kid Flash, or any other opponent that would be leagues more powerful than him EDIT below Thinking about it a bit more. i can say for certain that Malchior just decided to not come back. For one reason in particular. Wherever he was sent, the book was not there. Literally the only thing that could stop him, and it wasn't around to stop him anymore. That's literally every ancient evil villain's one dream. So, for my own stance on Malchior, I think he's just flat out THE strongest villain in the series, comparing how Trigon and Malchior fared against White Raven, Malchior just flat out couldn't be defeated by her. There's an argument to be made that she didn't have full mastery over the form by that point, as he powers were still black as opposed to them glowing white against Trigon. However, there's a very notable thing that should be mentioned by the time that Raven faces Trigon as White Raven, she's had time to master and learn what she LEARNED from Malchior. Think about that, and then remember the future we saw in How Long is Forever. That's right, outside of Raven's own mindscape, MALCHIOR is directly responsible for Raven being powerful enough to face Trigon in The End. Malchior, by simple fact of being Raven's teacher, should have superior mastery over the Magic which allowed Raven to get the better of Trigon.
My ranking always had Malchior as #2 or #3 behind Trigon and possibly another villain whose name I forget. Major mistake to bring him back at all, as there was no reasonable way to take him down besides his book or Raven's dad, so anything they decided to do would have fans of his episode rightly going "wait what?" lol
@@Telcontar86 Exactly. Herald "beating" Malchior that easy means that either all the core titans are weak as hell, or Herald could have shown up and insta-stomped every threat in the show. Hence my mental gymnastics to try and resolve those plot holes. I also always had Malchior as #2, at least until I thought about his teachings being what allowed Raven to actually unlock the form she used against Trigon to begin with.

The only attacks white raven used that we haven’t seen from blue raven are, stronger magic, (potentially) a restorative energy but this could have just came from defeating trigon, but it most likely was from her, her white raven being able to obliterate (potentially, unless she banished him to another dimension), a lightning attack, and the ways she shoots her telekinetic construction, oh and that one spell she used on kardiak. She can banish people to other dimensions even in her blue form, she can travel to other dimensions or planets, and gain power or technology, she can summon mystical forces form other planets or dimensions, she is untouchable in her soul self, she has telekinesis, she has her demon form, she has empathy and telepathy, and trigon despite losing much of his power traveling to earth was still extremely endurant, and could make starfire beast boy and cyborg fight their evil clones, so good who else knows what he can do, especially if he didn’t lose much of his power. And white raven is supposed to be more powerful than trigon/ravens demon form. Raven had lots of spells before malchior teached her spells, and trigon lost much of his power from traveling to earth which is why he didn’t erase the titans with a thought and why the titans were able to damage him, and why raven at the end was able to beat him with no effort, even if she is in her white form it would take some effort. And also before you ask why if trigon was so powerful why couldn’t he make the portal himself, he probably could, but he was imprisoned by the ring of azar. Raven in her blue form can use her telekinesis on malchior, banish him to another dimension, turn into her soul self so he can’t attack her, use the spells she already knows, like in fractured she had a book of azar, and she said mixing her powers with Larry would break the dimensions barriers, which goes to show even blue raven in the cartoon has reality warping powers. And also who knows what other spell books she has other than the book of azar, she even said “a book of azar isn’t something to mess with” Also she can hit malchior directly with her attacks instead or trying to block his fire breath with her attacks. Also I’m pretty sure she probably could make lightning in her blue form even without her spells. Demon form raven would be way more powerful than malchior, even if she had lost much of her power like trigon did. Again she can attack him directly instead of blocking his fire breath. Oh and also raven in her blue form can use empathy or telepathy to cancel malchior out. And also trigon is more endurant and physically stronger than malchior. Raven in her demon form would kill malchior easily. Lastly her white form, which is supposed to be more powerful than trigon. Trigon is extremely powerful even after losing much of his power, so in her white form, even without her spells, or the spells malchior taught her, malchior is no match for her. I don’t think any of the powers raven used in her white form malchior taught her, most of them she can probably do in her blue form without her spells. Raven with empathy, telepathy, soul self, telekinesis, attacking him directly with her telekinetic construction, or with one of her spells or one of the spells malchior taught her, can defeat him. Demon raven and white raven destroy malchior. Oh and also I don’t think malchior strengthened her magic either, and if he did, he didn’t strengthen it a lot, because ravens magic didn’t kill trigon faster, despite him losing most of his power. Edit: I’m not thinking of the spells malchior could use on her. Regardless, her demon form and white form would win.

I’d like to argue that Fixit is not actually evil, just misunderstood. The guy forgot what it was like to be human, and locked himself away from the world. He redeemed himself at the end of “Sum of His Parts” because he remembered his humanity, and knew he needed help. Too bad he only got one episode, I would’ve loved to see him again. Psimon on the other hand deserves a spot. Let alone a very high rank!

I always wondered why they didn’t decide to go pay him a visit in the episode “crash” to see if he could help them cure Cyborg’s virus. I would have trusted him more than Gizmo definitely.
My favorite villains to watch are Slade and Red X. I don’t think the titans ever really BEATEN Red X. He just kinda did his chaotic neutral thing and left. Thus, I feel like he would have been able to figure something out to beat some of the villains you placed above him.
I'd like to see a fight between Slade and X even more than a fight between Slade and Blood. I can imagine the opening dialogue going something like this... Slade: Robin?! Red X: You wish...

The fact that raven full potential can one shot trigon who can kill multiverse and eat gods like popcorn is insane that means that someone like superman all versions doesn t even stand a chance against this version of raven , and even someone like Dr faith or Lucifer morningstar will get one shotted by raven , someone like scarlet witch or zatanna will just.. die .. she is kind of omnipotent+ I think raven in team titans is suppressed 99.999% I mean raven had a bad dream because she was afraid of a scary movie some of her emotions leaked out and she conjured a monster that accomplished everything terra did in a few minutes (by accident )
I’m a huge Slade fan, but no single episode of Teen Titans made me feel more hunted and unsafe than the episode where Madame Rogue was after Hotspot. I definitely agree with that ruling.
The second we start placing many of these characters in 1v1s it becomes insanely hard to place them. For instance malchior would trounce slade in a 1v1, he’d win against everyone that is lesser than skath slade. Yes he gets taken out by herald but the same could be said for anyone that gets trapped in his portals. Unless you have a way to get yourself back which malchior should since he is a powerful mage, you aren’t returning from that place. Meaning even slade, terra, rouge and blood could lose to herald.
So I would like to just point out that Jinx could, pretty handily, be ranked way higher than she's ranked here. I will admit I'm biased, I have always considered luck (or the inverse) to be one of the strongest powers, and capable of wiping most people simply due to the universe working against them. If there's an even 0.00001% chance of something transpiring, and you can make it happen, that's hugely powerful.
I swear I feel like the writers and animtors didn't put much thought into the season 5 finale as alot of the villains that were there didn't make sense and who some lost to didn't make sense either.
In defense of the brain, the big bad bosses should not be judged by their individual power, but by the total power of those they can gather to their cause. Cinderblock would not be much of threat, without the intelligence of slade directing him. The brain is the man with the plan, he makes all those who work below him more effective at what they do.
I knew Trigon was going to be number 1 when I clicked on the video. He's one of the strongest villains in DC, let alone Teen Titans. But great video, can't wait to see Bearded Man vs Darkseid inthe future.
7:08 to 7:15 I just did the math, based on how many gold bars we can see and doing the math, one of those pallets mammoth was trying to lift was 2 US tons more than beast boy's elephant form, and that's assuming the gold bars are only the average weight for gold bars and beast boys elephant form is on the high end of elephant weight, so it's not that he's weaker, he was just trying to lift more than he has been shown to be able to lift, for reference the Elephant at upper end weighs about 14000kg while the gold pallet would be about 16000kg assuming average acceptable gold weight.
7:12 To be fair, a whole pallet of stacked gold bars is actually really heavy, enough to blow out suspensions of most vehicles unless it's an armored vehicle equipped for transporting gold around I know the writers aren't trying to keep attention to detail, but a single bar of gold is 27 pounds. A whole pallet stacked that high should definitively be too damn heavy to lift, that's just my head cannon
Note . The dragon wasn’t really “beaten” by the herald . Nobody there really had the power to stop him so Herald just moved the problem somewhere else . Although it does suggest that he can’t just teleport back , overall I’d still say he’s incredibly strong and I’d put him higher than the white monster , since the dragon can apparently only be stopped by being magically put into prisons and has never taken even a lick of damage , where the monster needed tactics and activate situational shapeshifting to avoid being damage . Loved the video tho , an hour and a half and that’s the only nitpick I could think of lol
Except Robin with his sword, and raven were able to damage him, it’s just malchior kicked Robin out of the fight, and raven was too busy trying to deflect his drsgon breath instead of trying to attack him. And malchior is a magic user and could probably teleport back unless heralds portals are stronger than his magic, and trapped malchior in another dimension.
I personally believe the white monster is the strongest character in the show other than maybe Larry if you ascribe to him as the embodiment of the writers. But the white monster isn’t the strongest villain specifically because it’s not a being with malicious intent; it’s a concept or universal truth as it were. As was mentioned in the video, the white monster is a metaphor for change, and because of that its presence is only that when it’s absolute necessary for change and then promptly leaves having fulfilled its purpose. “Things Change” was a fitting end to the series imo. The writers had changed, the Teen Titans had grown up, and the show was set to end. For the majority of the audience, like myself, as a kid following the titans as we got older, it was a positive reminder that things will change and that’s alright. What a great show!

I like power scaling and I like Teen Titans, this video has done both and more. Actual nostalgia trip and I never thought about how strong some of these characters are before I watched this vid.
Ok so I did a quick math bout that gold that mammoth could not lift (if we ignore the air and empty space between the bars, that is), its about 50-53 tons. Its seems that gold is heavy, 19 tons per meter^3. Oh and how that is bad in comparsion to lifting an small elephant?

...okay, so slade holds positions 2, 3, and 5 out of the top 5 and position 1 is using position 2 as a disposable minion...and it actually pretty much makes sense. 4 is overranked if specifically ranking "strongest" but reasonably fair if ranking efficacy.
hold up man, your analysis of mammoth. being able to lift an elephant but not being able to lift a pallet of gold bars not making sense is incorrect, yes mammoth was capable of lifting beast boy elephant, and if we high ball beast boy, that he is as heavy as the heaviest elephant then that means he is 24000 pounds, or 12 tons, then that means based of that feat mammoths minimum lifting strength is over 12 tons, now doing the math as high balling the gold bars, each gold bar is 25 pounds, there are 24 gold bars stacked on top of each other and 7 gold stacks going in both directions this means that there are a total of 1176 gold bars, meaning the collective weight of that entire pallet is 29400 pounds or 14.7 tons meaning that mammoths minimum - maximum lifting strength is 12.1 - 14.6 tons. and this is ignoring that each gold bar is a square instead of a rectangle making the total weight doubled if not triple.
Soooo, I did the math on the weight of that pallet of gold bars, because I had a feeling it’d be SIGNIFICANTLY heavier than the largest elephant…it’d be heavier than a HERD of elephants at what I calculated to be around 108,000 lbs, vs 13,000. I gotta say I SLIGHTLY overshot the width/length of the pallet (I guessed 4.5’x4.5’, it’s actually usually closer to 3.33’x4’, but even accounting for that, it’s not gonna make enough of a difference.
Trigon ought to be disqualified. Yes, he's the defacto strongest, but he's also a god that can only exist through Raven. Terra also shouldn't be that high. The only reason she seemed like such a threat is because she picked off the Titans one at a time, and the Titans were holding back on top of that. As soon as they start fighting seriously, Terra gets stomped. It's not even close. Like, even when Robin WAS holding back and on his own, Terra had trouble with him. Terra would also be way more nerfed without Slade. And while we're at it, if we're disqualifying Trigon and Slade/Terra, then we should also disqualify Skath Slade. Honorable mention, but Skath Slade would also be nothing without Trigon. --- After some thought, my pick for strongest villain goes to Red X, with Madame Rouge being a very close second. The only reason he's above her is because Red X has never been defeated. You could argue that he might have been bested during "Titans Together," but we see X take on a whole rogues gallery a villains in the racing episode and it's not even close. X obliterates them. His suit gives him an insane amount of tools and versatility such that he would have an answer for anything he'd come up against. And on top of that, he has the tactical prowess and cunning of Slade--specifically targeting people's weaknesses and working around their strengths. Madame Rouge is basically the same way, only her powers are less versatile on the offensive front. All she can do is hit, crush, and trap opponents. She's definitely more tanky than X, taking A LOT more punishment, but X has tasers, lightning, bombs, traps, and the ability to teleport. Red X and Madame Rouge are like Slade with powers. Though not as overwhelmingly powerful as Skath Slade, I'd say Madame Rouge beats normal Slade 6/10 times, while Red X beats them both 9/10 times.
I really like a lot of your reasoning. There's been many comments about my ranking of Terra, and at this point I concede that I am likely overrating her. I would still love to see her hold nothing back and face a tough opponent also holding nothing back - but there's so many qualifiers and situational factors that I tended to err on her side. Like, even as I'm saying I think I may have overrated her, there's a bit part of me that still believes she could 1 v 1 defeat Beast Boy or Cyborg holding nothing back (without Slade's involvement too). But, maybe I'm too biased here. Regarding the rest of what you said... I think you make a really interesting and compelling case for Red X. I don't think him taking out the drivers during the wacky race proves he's stronger than all of those villains, since it is a very specific situation and not a full-on fight, but X is without a doubt extremely versatile, and I'd love to see a real Red X vs Slade 1 v 1 with no restrictions. Like I said in the video, the gap between Skath Slade/Trigon and everyone below them is really big. So if you want to draw a line in the sand and say those last 2 "don't count" because they're on another level, I get it. But Red X, Madame Rouge, Slade, Brother Blood, and maybe Daizo-Brushogun (debatable) are all close contenders imo.

If we go by the average bar of gold weight traded internationally, it would be about 12.4 kg. And if the length matches the width of these gold cubes, that would be 8x8x24 gold bars, getting us to a nice total of 1,536 total gold bars per cube bulk, leading to the whole thing, not counting the platform he is also trying to lift with them, to be a whopping 19,046 kg!
Meanwhile, even the heaviest elephant ever recorded, a male African savanna elephant, was only clocked in at a measly 10,886 kg. The pile of gold is nearly double the weight.

In regards to "Madam Rouge's mind is too twisted" this may not be related to her morality or psychology, but instead is referring to it quite literally being twisted into a different shape thanks to her abilities, rendering her brain too physically different for conventional mental abilities to take effect. I know you're only really using Teen Titans itself, but this does have a basis within greater DC continuity, as Plastic Man was Batman's strategy for if Martian Manhunter ever turned against the team in a fire-immune state. Plastic Man has superior shapeshifting, but more importantly to this consideration, by changing his brain's shape he can effectively resist MM's mental abilities as well. Madame Rouge might be doing the exact same thing here, as her abilities are almost exactly the same as Plastic Man's.
Was gonna say this because a similar thing happens with mystique in x-men her shapeshifting mutation gives her a natural resistance to telepathy.
I didn't even know Cheshire was a character that existed before watching these videos, but she's already become one of my favorites. The way her movement flows, the fact that she pays homage to the legendary Cheshire cat while almost feeling like a spirit-like enemy or something, her attire with the big grinning mask and droopy sleeves, it's just all so good.
I suggest watching Young Justice! She has much more presence in that show and has a pretty interesting character.
She was semi-canon in DC but was horribly misused and left to rot after 2009 soft-reboot. Now she's retired and a local political advisor with 4 kids.

I don't think Mammoth got any weaker, an average African bush elephant weighs roughly 13k pounds, an average gold bar weighs 27.5 pounds, the stack of gold was 8 bars wide, (a min) of 7 bars long, and 24 bars tall, this means there was roughly 36,960 pounds of gold bars, which is 2.8 times more than the average African bush elephant

Interesting. I didn't see this before I commented a similar thing. I used the maximum elephant weight of 24,000 pounds (approximate for the largest on record) and pointed out that while we only see 7 deep, it wouldn't be unreasonable for them to be stacked 8*8. Either way, the pallet of gold bars were far heavier than Beast Boy likely was.

I think Tera is getting rocked by Brother Blood despite being stronger because I doubt she of all people would be able to resist his mental attack. This is the only time I think a villain lower on the list could topple one higher. Also who ever animated Punk Rocket was having a good time before that animation was fluid and some of the best I have ever seen.
3 months late cut there’s tons of misplacements.
Brother blood has teleportation, mind control powers, telekinesis, and telekinetic construction. And his magic is a lot stronger than base raven’s magic, cyborg shot at him with an amplifier and his force field protected him, and if it was raven it would have broken her force field a few times over and knock her out. And he has high knowledge in technology, Terra’s powers are destructive, but his are easily more destructive due to his telekinesis, and his Magic’s strength being a lot above Terra’s magics strength, and he has knowledge in technology. So with preparation time he can probably be a god, with only raven in her demon or white form, trigon, malchior (depending on his power extent), maybe Larry, and maybe the witch could stop him.
Black fire can fly faster than the speed of light (raven in starfires body flew into Robin at extreme speeds in switched, and that didn’t seem to be anywhere near her full speed.) and black fire has force fields, realistically only brother blood, malchior, skath slade, maybe mother Mae eye, maybe the witch, trigon, and so on could stop her.
Kyd wykkyd deserves top 10.
Jinx deserves much higher.

She was the better fighter when they were growing up, but when they reunite, it is clear that Starfire matured into a better fighter and proved it. I left this comment on your other Titan video, but Borhter Blood's downfall was using Cyborg's tech for himself. That's what allowed Cyborg to flip the tables seemingly out of nowhere. It is the same tactic that Holland Spiderman used on Doc Ock: take over their tech because your tech is better. Brother Blood's tech was, iirc, a derivative of Cyborg's own tech. Of course Cyborg would be able to wirelessly connect to it and control it. He just had to realize he could and have the willpower to overpower Blood's own control of the tech.
blood has some kind of magic ability. but was hooked up with cyborg parts. so i could see it as cyborg hacking into brother blood and using his own magic against himself. thats why you dont mix magic and tech in one body

I think Red X would probably be able to stop Tara if he wanted to. He has the unique ability to find the weaknesses in his opponents and parry's with a seemingly perfect counter weapon to do so with the agility and prowess of Robin. Red X quite literally acts like a "Mark of Skath Robin" in principal. He'd definitely have a hard time with Skath Slade and zero chance against Trigon, but against Tara...I'm pretty sure he'd be able to win.

True, Robin loses to Terra because he wanted to help her turn good again but Red x wouldn't care he'd probably just figure out that visibility is her weakness and shoot a X towards her eyes so she can't see plus he's equipped with many other gadgets if things start to get rocky.
I'd argue on Malchior for a couple reasons. First, Herald is using his horn defensively in that scene (if I remember correctly, he puts the gates behind opponents when on the offense), implying that Malchior was rushing behind his fire breath and got surprised. Second, we never actually see Malchior spellcasting in a fight. He has access to thousands of spells, but never once uses them. If we had confirmation they were weaker than his natural abilities or he was beaten while using them, it'd be a different situation, but it seems more like he didn't view his opponents as actual threats.
I don't think he beats Blood or Slade simply because he wouldn't prepare while they would, but I think he's too resilient to normal damage for Rouge to be able to take him down (which is also why I think he beats the white monster).
I agree with your sentiment here, with one (technically 2) exceptions. I think his shear power, crazy durability, and monstrous access to magic would put him above Blood, and Slade. I mean, you obviously wouldn't say that Blood and Slade would be capable of taking down Trigon, because Trigon wouldn't bother preparing, while the two of them would. Its the same concept, just to a much lesser degree.
@@ikeillue8385 The difference is that Malchior's shown to be effectively defeated by mortal magic (from admittedly powerful mages), which Blood or Slade would not only be willing to seek out, but also do everything to make sure they get the chance to use it (Slade used magic in Forces of Nature and Blood went to extreme of modifying himself to beat Cyborg). Trigon, on the other hand, is actually at the point where all strategy is meaningless without the raw power of a cosmic-level entity or a mystic connection to him.
I also didn't say Malchior wasn't a more dangerous threat. I'm just saying if it came down to a direct confrontation, I think it's likely Blood or Slade would have a 'dragon go away' button and they would be using as effectively as possible. And I fully think he could still win that fight because he could interrupt them before they use it on him. He just wouldn't know that's what he needed to do until they started.
@@Auron3991 Malchior was defeated by one specific spell, from one of the most famous sorcerers in history (assumedly he is one of the most powerful, if his legend is so well known.), that was specifically designed to, not overpower Malchior (because he couldn't overpower Malchior), but to temporarily seal him away. Frankly, I don't see Slade or Blood being capable of developing a spell of that magnitude, or even being capable of using a spell of that magnitude.
I get that reasoning. I just think its not very likely that either of those characters would find access to such a power that would be required to do away with Malchior. Its possible, just unlikely.
Kind of off topic but raven is more powerful than malchior, trigon despite losing most of his power traveling to earth is still more powerful and more endurant than malchior, and white raven is supposed to be more powerful than trigon, so white raven and demon raven are more powerful than trigon. Even without the spells malchior taught raven, she is still immortal powerful than him. Also she already knew a ton of spells before malchior taught her spells, and she does have reality bending powers in the cartoon, as seen in fractured (what she said when she stole cyborgs mouth)
And she can use her white soul self on malchior as seen at the end of the end part 3, but I am not sure if malchior taught her that pr not.
Trigon is the strongest and most powerful villain in the series because he's an inter-dimensional demon that has demonic magic and powers, and due to the fact that Raven was the only one to defeat him, since the fact that he powers came from him.
And malchior and skath slade are second and third.
All I can say, which others have likely already said is Malchior isn't exactly a fair case. Personally, The Herald removed Malchior from play, not defeat, nor trap him. I'd say while it's an impressive feat for The Herald to pull it off, it's not exactly a feat AGAINST Malchior.

Technical fouls dont discount their strengths and tactical weaknesses so I agree. Technically the harold can remove anyone who cant teleport fron a battle but doesnt make them any less strong. If he wanted to take everyone out he could just summon a blackhole like when he helped Raven.
I'd honestly be tempted to put the White Monster at #3 or #4 overall, its sheer level of hax gives most of the villains very little to do against it, Terra with Magma control might have enough power to roast it if it can even be damaged by normal physical means, since it seems to have the ability to cancel out most normal physical attack methods, kinda like some weaker version of Amazo, but I definitely think that Skath Slade and Trigon would just magic it out of existence since there's only so many elements you can adapt with against literal multi-dimensional magic and reality warping.....
Madams rouge was able to extend her arms really fast, has regeneration and tons of resistance, I think she could take the white monster.
Malchior might be above skath slade, we never see the full power extent for either (or even anywhere close) I think malchior could destroy it.
I think Mumbo, Mother Mae Eye, and Mad Mod could take it.
Black fire is faster than light, has extreme extreme superhuman endurance, a lot of strength, energy blasts, eye beams, force fields (or at least spheres) so I think black fire could take it.
Maybe brother blood could mind control it.
Jinx is really fast seen when she attacked madame rouge the first time, I think jinx could take it.
Kyd Wykkyd’s cape is strong, and he can teleport pretty fast, and has portals, I think he could take it.
White Monster might be #1 if it could also copy magic abilities. Maybe it would just copy the connection Raven has to Trigon and curbstomp him.
It did copy bricks which are not exactly an element.
What i liked about Terra is that the only force that could stop her was her own force itself, if she wanted she could even destroy the earth
Personally, I would put Malchior higher. We have never actually seen him beaten by any means, short of removal hacks. His 3 canon losses were all him being taken by surprise by said hack. His first loss, he had no way of knowing that there was a spell capable of sealing him away. His second loss, he was clearly surprised by the fact that Raven actually learned the above mentioned spell. And his third loss, he would have no reason to be aware of The Herold's dimensional manipulation abilities. Are we really going to sit here and say that, based on what he taught raven in his episode (even up to and including things like the ability to forcibly transform a shape shifter against his will), Malchior wouldn't have been capable of stopping The Herold from using his trumpet, or getting the trumpet away from him?
I think we would be getting a good fight between Malchior and Skath Slade, with the edge going to Malchior, due to his versatility in spellcasting. I don't think Malchior would be able to kill Skath Slade, but I don't think Slade could put Malchior down either (due to him being basically an immortal, multi thousand year old dragon), but I'm sure with all the magical tombs that it was eluded to that Malchior has read, he would be capable of finding a spell that would remove Skath Slade from the equation.
Malchior is the second most powerful behind trigon
A few might argue that malchior is more powerful than trigon, but trigon had lost much of his powers from traveling to earth, that’s why the titans we’re able to damage him, and why raven took him down with no effort. And raven didn’t us her full power extent (or anywhere close to it) on raven or malchior. Against malchior any time the titans hit him the titans damaged him more than trigon. His fire breath is stronger than white ravens magic, but raven now knows all of his spells, plus a ton more, and already had a lot of powers before that. And can warp reality. And we never saw malchior really use his spells in battle. We don’t know how strong his magic is, but raven has more spells than him. Raven could use telekinesis on malchior, use her soul self, banish him to another dimension, use her astral projection, trap him in portals, (not force fields, portals so that way he can’t break through her force fields), use spells on him, us lightning on him non stop, etc.
Also some people ask why trigon needed raven yo become a portal for him, it’s because he was imprisoned. And then he lost much of his power on earth. So that’s why he was weak in the last episodes. And malchior fire breathe is stronger than white raven magic, but he isn’t. And he hasn’t used his magic, and raven has more spells than him. And raven only shot beams, used a force field, threw a piece of the tower, and used lightning on him. And that lightning power doesn’t seem that power, she could probably replicate it in her blue form.
Raven has sooo many spells, we haven’t seen malchior use spells or magic, and raven already has several powers.
Malchior would need pretty powerful magic to stop ravens soul self, or he would need soul draining magic.
The white monster is unnerving. Also even if the white monster isn't a metaphor it still is horrorfing and powerful imagine that thing in real life
I think my fav is See more just on how interesting on how his eye abilities are. I always liked seeing the different eye powers he did because it was so weird. I also liked Madame Rouge because I'll admit I also thought she was sexy.

Though a small detail is I think Cinderblock could be placed above atlas, since Cinderblock has been shown to match blows with Cyborg AND the other 4 titans consistently, while Atlas was beat by cyborg flat out. That is all

I don't hate him, but he does fall a bit flat compared to the other big bads. In the comics he's really dark and most closely associated with Raven, so perhaps it's not surprising they struggled to capture the essence of him in a child-friendly setting while shifting the association onto a very different Titan.
At least with Slade and Terra, making them more child-friendly didn't require a total re-write of their characters. Meanwhile the Brotherhood of Evil originated in silver age Doom Patrol silliness, so would always be OK for kids. As for Trigon... we can count our blessings that they did him properly, though they did cut out the extreme emotional trauma he put Raven through in the comics.

Great video! It was a ton of fun. I think your ranking is really great though as OP as madame rouge is, I would still put normal Slade above her. Though in a physical fight he doesn’t stand a chance, his psychological and manipulative tendencies seems like it would give him an edge since she is just a follower. He also could keep his distance pretty well with robots and the like. Not to mention her two biggest weakness of fire and ice seem like traps slade could manipulate her into if he put in the amount of effort and research he did with the titans.

I agree that Slade could resist Blood's mind-control, but in a contest of martial arts skill, I can't see Slade lasting very long without some incredible weaponry. Remember, Blood sent Cyborg flying just by flexing his wrist and pierced his chest with just his middle and index fingers. And I can't imagine Blood's energy bolts being any less dangerous to Rouge than Hot Spot's flames. And if Blood is still all flesh and...well...blood then it's one less weakness for them to exploit.

Imagining Billy with a gun underestimates how scary he actually could be.
Imagine if Billy had a set of quality bullet proof armor, a gun, and some sort of explosive weaponry. That basically creates a hivemind of well equipped soldiers, for the cost of one guy being well equipped. Now imagine him with some weird Sifi lazer thing, or one of the other villans on this lists weapons.
He is a force multiplier. That is terrifying if you think of it

The thing with the Herald beating Malchior is that... well, he didn't. He sent Malchior through a portal, something which doesn't seal or knock out or kill Malchior at all. Wherever that portal led to, it was probably a place where Malchior couldn't be defeated at all, so why would he bother coming back in the first place?
There's another thing about Malchior, and that's that his knowledge and teachings triggered Raven to transform into the White Raven, the same form she used in defeating TRIGON. And he triggered that transformation FAR easier than Trigon did in The End.
Really, it's honestly not that big of a surprise. Malchior said it himself, every single bit of magical knowledge that Raven has, came from HIM. I would honestly say that the portal sucking Malchior is a plot-hole. There is literally nothing that should stop Malchior from coming back through it and fighting again, the only possible explanation is that he simply chose not to.
Ultimately, the Malchior conundrum can be described as PIS, or Plot Induced Stupidity. The Writers messed up when they chose to use Malchior in that battle, so instead of rehashing the entire deal of sealing him in the book AGAIN, they just had him get portaled away and ignored it entirely.
Then there's the fact that, honestly, there'd be nothing stopping Herald from just sending the White Monster through a portal, or opening a portal in front of Kid Flash, or any other opponent that would be leagues more powerful than him

Thinking about it a bit more. i can say for certain that Malchior just decided to not come back. For one reason in particular. Wherever he was sent, the book was not there. Literally the only thing that could stop him, and it wasn't around to stop him anymore. That's literally every ancient evil villain's one dream.
So, for my own stance on Malchior, I think he's just flat out THE strongest villain in the series, comparing how Trigon and Malchior fared against White Raven, Malchior just flat out couldn't be defeated by her. There's an argument to be made that she didn't have full mastery over the form by that point, as he powers were still black as opposed to them glowing white against Trigon. However, there's a very notable thing that should be mentioned
by the time that Raven faces Trigon as White Raven, she's had time to master and learn what she LEARNED from Malchior.
Think about that, and then remember the future we saw in How Long is Forever.
That's right, outside of Raven's own mindscape, MALCHIOR is directly responsible for Raven being powerful enough to face Trigon in The End.
Malchior, by simple fact of being Raven's teacher, should have superior mastery over the Magic which allowed Raven to get the better of Trigon.
My ranking always had Malchior as #2 or #3 behind Trigon and possibly another villain whose name I forget. Major mistake to bring him back at all, as there was no reasonable way to take him down besides his book or Raven's dad, so anything they decided to do would have fans of his episode rightly going "wait what?" lol

The only attacks white raven used that we haven’t seen from blue raven are, stronger magic, (potentially) a restorative energy but this could have just came from defeating trigon, but it most likely was from her, her white raven being able to obliterate (potentially, unless she banished him to another dimension), a lightning attack, and the ways she shoots her telekinetic construction, oh and that one spell she used on kardiak. She can banish people to other dimensions even in her blue form, she can travel to other dimensions or planets, and gain power or technology, she can summon mystical forces form other planets or dimensions, she is untouchable in her soul self, she has telekinesis, she has her demon form, she has empathy and telepathy, and trigon despite losing much of his power traveling to earth was still extremely endurant, and could make starfire beast boy and cyborg fight their evil clones, so good who else knows what he can do, especially if he didn’t lose much of his power. And white raven is supposed to be more powerful than trigon/ravens demon form.
Raven had lots of spells before malchior teached her spells, and trigon lost much of his power from traveling to earth which is why he didn’t erase the titans with a thought and why the titans were able to damage him, and why raven at the end was able to beat him with no effort, even if she is in her white form it would take some effort. And also before you ask why if trigon was so powerful why couldn’t he make the portal himself, he probably could, but he was imprisoned by the ring of azar.
Raven in her blue form can use her telekinesis on malchior, banish him to another dimension, turn into her soul self so he can’t attack her, use the spells she already knows, like in fractured she had a book of azar, and she said mixing her powers with Larry would break the dimensions barriers, which goes to show even blue raven in the cartoon has reality warping powers. And also who knows what other spell books she has other than the book of azar, she even said “a book of azar isn’t something to mess with”
Also she can hit malchior directly with her attacks instead or trying to block his fire breath with her attacks. Also I’m pretty sure she probably could make lightning in her blue form even without her spells.
Demon form raven would be way more powerful than malchior, even if she had lost much of her power like trigon did. Again she can attack him directly instead of blocking his fire breath.
Oh and also raven in her blue form can use empathy or telepathy to cancel malchior out.
And also trigon is more endurant and physically stronger than malchior. Raven in her demon form would kill malchior easily.
Lastly her white form, which is supposed to be more powerful than trigon. Trigon is extremely powerful even after losing much of his power, so in her white form, even without her spells, or the spells malchior taught her, malchior is no match for her.
I don’t think any of the powers raven used in her white form malchior taught her, most of them she can probably do in her blue form without her spells.
Raven with empathy, telepathy, soul self, telekinesis, attacking him directly with her telekinetic construction, or with one of her spells or one of the spells malchior taught her, can defeat him.
Demon raven and white raven destroy malchior.
Oh and also I don’t think malchior strengthened her magic either, and if he did, he didn’t strengthen it a lot, because ravens magic didn’t kill trigon faster, despite him losing most of his power.
Edit: I’m not thinking of the spells malchior could use on her. Regardless, her demon form and white form would win.

I’d like to argue that Fixit is not actually evil, just misunderstood. The guy forgot what it was like to be human, and locked himself away from the world. He redeemed himself at the end of “Sum of His Parts” because he remembered his humanity, and knew he needed help. Too bad he only got one episode, I would’ve loved to see him again. Psimon on the other hand deserves a spot. Let alone a very high rank!

My favorite villains to watch are Slade and Red X.
I don’t think the titans ever really BEATEN Red X. He just kinda did his chaotic neutral thing and left. Thus, I feel like he would have been able to figure something out to beat some of the villains you placed above him.
I'd like to see a fight between Slade and X even more than a fight between Slade and Blood. I can imagine the opening dialogue going something like this...

The fact that raven full potential can one shot trigon who can kill multiverse and eat gods like popcorn is insane that means that someone like superman all versions doesn t even stand a chance against this version of raven , and even someone like Dr faith or Lucifer morningstar will get one shotted by raven , someone like scarlet witch or zatanna will just.. die .. she is kind of omnipotent+ I think raven in team titans is suppressed 99.999% I mean raven had a bad dream because she was afraid of a scary movie some of her emotions leaked out and she conjured a monster that accomplished everything terra did in a few minutes (by accident )

I’m a huge Slade fan, but no single episode of Teen Titans made me feel more hunted and unsafe than the episode where Madame Rogue was after Hotspot. I definitely agree with that ruling.

The second we start placing many of these characters in 1v1s it becomes insanely hard to place them.
For instance malchior would trounce slade in a 1v1, he’d win against everyone that is lesser than skath slade. Yes he gets taken out by herald but the same could be said for anyone that gets trapped in his portals. Unless you have a way to get yourself back which malchior should since he is a powerful mage, you aren’t returning from that place. Meaning even slade, terra, rouge and blood could lose to herald.
Month late, but brother blood has teleportation powers, and his magic is very strong, so I imagine he can teleport dimensione.s.
So I would like to just point out that Jinx could, pretty handily, be ranked way higher than she's ranked here. I will admit I'm biased, I have always considered luck (or the inverse) to be one of the strongest powers, and capable of wiping most people simply due to the universe working against them. If there's an even 0.00001% chance of something transpiring, and you can make it happen, that's hugely powerful.

I swear I feel like the writers and animtors didn't put much thought into the season 5 finale as alot of the villains that were there didn't make sense and who some lost to didn't make sense either.
In defense of the brain, the big bad bosses should not be judged by their individual power, but by the total power of those they can gather to their cause. Cinderblock would not be much of threat, without the intelligence of slade directing him. The brain is the man with the plan, he makes all those who work below him more effective at what they do.
I knew Trigon was going to be number 1 when I clicked on the video. He's one of the strongest villains in DC, let alone Teen Titans. But great video, can't wait to see Bearded Man vs Darkseid inthe future.
Slade appearing twice on this list is very impresive.

7:08 to 7:15 I just did the math, based on how many gold bars we can see and doing the math, one of those pallets mammoth was trying to lift was 2 US tons more than beast boy's elephant form, and that's assuming the gold bars are only the average weight for gold bars and beast boys elephant form is on the high end of elephant weight, so it's not that he's weaker, he was just trying to lift more than he has been shown to be able to lift, for reference the Elephant at upper end weighs about 14000kg while the gold pallet would be about 16000kg assuming average acceptable gold weight.
My biggest takeaway here is that every titan should have a squirt gun on them at all times
7:12 To be fair, a whole pallet of stacked gold bars is actually really heavy, enough to blow out suspensions of most vehicles unless it's an armored vehicle equipped for transporting gold around
I know the writers aren't trying to keep attention to detail, but a single bar of gold is 27 pounds. A whole pallet stacked that high should definitively be too damn heavy to lift, that's just my head cannon

Note . The dragon wasn’t really “beaten” by the herald . Nobody there really had the power to stop him so Herald just moved the problem somewhere else . Although it does suggest that he can’t just teleport back , overall I’d still say he’s incredibly strong and I’d put him higher than the white monster , since the dragon can apparently only be stopped by being magically put into prisons and has never taken even a lick of damage , where the monster needed tactics and activate situational shapeshifting to avoid being damage .

Except Robin with his sword, and raven were able to damage him, it’s just malchior kicked Robin out of the fight, and raven was too busy trying to deflect his drsgon breath instead of trying to attack him.
And malchior is a magic user and could probably teleport back unless heralds portals are stronger than his magic, and trapped malchior in another dimension.
The White Monster was definitely a huge threat. I feel like it would’ve never gotten defeated even if the show ran longer and we saw it more often
I personally believe the white monster is the strongest character in the show other than maybe Larry if you ascribe to him as the embodiment of the writers.
But the white monster isn’t the strongest villain specifically because it’s not a being with malicious intent; it’s a concept or universal truth as it were. As was mentioned in the video, the white monster is a metaphor for change, and because of that its presence is only that when it’s absolute necessary for change and then promptly leaves having fulfilled its purpose.
“Things Change” was a fitting end to the series imo. The writers had changed, the Teen Titans had grown up, and the show was set to end. For the majority of the audience, like myself, as a kid following the titans as we got older, it was a positive reminder that things will change and that’s alright. What a great show!

Ok so I did a quick math bout that gold that mammoth could not lift (if we ignore the air and empty space between the bars, that is), its about 50-53 tons. Its seems that gold is heavy, 19 tons per meter^3.

One can not outsmart a mountain, and the big guy is one made od flesh and muscles. And even if, Katarou had before just mindlesly rush on his foe with only hope that he outstrenght his opponent, which has failed him then and it would most likely against Mammoth.

I feel like Jinx is probably waay more powerful than she even realizes. She probably just hasn’t really honed her magic skills yet
...okay, so slade holds positions 2, 3, and 5 out of the top 5 and position 1 is using position 2 as a disposable minion...and it actually pretty much makes sense. 4 is overranked if specifically ranking "strongest" but reasonably fair if ranking efficacy.
hold up man, your analysis of mammoth. being able to lift an elephant but not being able to lift a pallet of gold bars not making sense is incorrect, yes mammoth was capable of lifting beast boy elephant, and if we high ball beast boy, that he is as heavy as the heaviest elephant then that means he is 24000 pounds, or 12 tons, then that means based of that feat mammoths minimum lifting strength is over 12 tons, now doing the math as high balling the gold bars, each gold bar is 25 pounds, there are 24 gold bars stacked on top of each other and 7 gold stacks going in both directions this means that there are a total of 1176 gold bars, meaning the collective weight of that entire pallet is 29400 pounds or 14.7 tons meaning that mammoths minimum - maximum lifting strength is 12.1 - 14.6 tons. and this is ignoring that each gold bar is a square instead of a rectangle making the total weight doubled if not triple.
White monster and Malichor feel like they should be higher on the list.. er.. closer... like 3 and 4... at least top 5.

Soooo, I did the math on the weight of that pallet of gold bars, because I had a feeling it’d be SIGNIFICANTLY heavier than the largest elephant…it’d be heavier than a HERD of elephants at what I calculated to be around 108,000 lbs, vs 13,000. I gotta say I SLIGHTLY overshot the width/length of the pallet (I guessed 4.5’x4.5’, it’s actually usually closer to 3.33’x4’, but even accounting for that, it’s not gonna make enough of a difference.
Trigon ought to be disqualified.
Yes, he's the defacto strongest, but he's also a god that can only exist through Raven.
Terra also shouldn't be that high. The only reason she seemed like such a threat is because she picked off the Titans one at a time, and the Titans were holding back on top of that. As soon as they start fighting seriously, Terra gets stomped. It's not even close. Like, even when Robin WAS holding back and on his own, Terra had trouble with him. Terra would also be way more nerfed without Slade.
And while we're at it, if we're disqualifying Trigon and Slade/Terra, then we should also disqualify Skath Slade. Honorable mention, but Skath Slade would also be nothing without Trigon.

After some thought, my pick for strongest villain goes to Red X, with Madame Rouge being a very close second. The only reason he's above her is because Red X has never been defeated. You could argue that he might have been bested during "Titans Together," but we see X take on a whole rogues gallery a villains in the racing episode and it's not even close. X obliterates them. His suit gives him an insane amount of tools and versatility such that he would have an answer for anything he'd come up against. And on top of that, he has the tactical prowess and cunning of Slade--specifically targeting people's weaknesses and working around their strengths.
Madame Rouge is basically the same way, only her powers are less versatile on the offensive front. All she can do is hit, crush, and trap opponents. She's definitely more tanky than X, taking A LOT more punishment, but X has tasers, lightning, bombs, traps, and the ability to teleport.
Red X and Madame Rouge are like Slade with powers. Though not as overwhelmingly powerful as Skath Slade, I'd say Madame Rouge beats normal Slade 6/10 times, while Red X beats them both 9/10 times.
I really like a lot of your reasoning. There's been many comments about my ranking of Terra, and at this point I concede that I am likely overrating her. I would still love to see her hold nothing back and face a tough opponent also holding nothing back - but there's so many qualifiers and situational factors that I tended to err on her side. Like, even as I'm saying I think I may have overrated her, there's a bit part of me that still believes she could 1 v 1 defeat Beast Boy or Cyborg holding nothing back (without Slade's involvement too). But, maybe I'm too biased here.
Regarding the rest of what you said... I think you make a really interesting and compelling case for Red X. I don't think him taking out the drivers during the wacky race proves he's stronger than all of those villains, since it is a very specific situation and not a full-on fight, but X is without a doubt extremely versatile, and I'd love to see a real Red X vs Slade 1 v 1 with no restrictions.
Like I said in the video, the gap between Skath Slade/Trigon and everyone below them is really big. So if you want to draw a line in the sand and say those last 2 "don't count" because they're on another level, I get it. But Red X, Madame Rouge, Slade, Brother Blood, and maybe Daizo-Brushogun (debatable) are all close contenders imo.

Watching through this, damn it's been awhile since I've watched the og Titans cartoon, and I don't remember a good chunk of these villains. Like the more popular ones I remembered. But I had no clue what the hell the Shrieker was.
