The things I mostly want in a Mario Maker update/sequel are: blue abd yellow koopa (from SMW), the buzzy beetle that throws blocks at you (from SMB3, and I also like to call them yeeter beetle), fire-, boomerang-, ice bro and big boo (from SMW). I also would like to see ice flovers in all styles, and a volcano theme
You forgot to mention Fuzzies - they're not the most interesting or useful enemies in the world (sorry ceave) but they should be a relatively easy addition to implement, especially since they are in 3/5 game styles. Also an enemy i don't see mentioned is swoops (the bats). would be a nice addition to cave or even ghost house levels, and they have a relatively unique attack pattern. personally i would like to see bony beetles the most- the skeletal buzzies that extend their spikes in smw or nsmbu. more castle/ghost house enemies would be nice and they have a behavior that really can't be recreated at all in smm
But there isn't any easy way to drop hazards straight down towards Mario and it's a real bummer for me. The closest thing that comes this idea near are cannons from the ceiling or on conveyor belts so they can move a bit. Every other enemy always shoots in an angle like Bowser in a cloud or on a track with his fireballs in NSMBU or the koopalings...
I personally want shy guys (mainly because it would be really cool to have more stuff from smb2) and fuzzies the most, but these enemies would also be really cool!

Goomba becomes King Goomba Lakitu becomes that lightning one Any of the bros would get a slight color change fitting of a boss variant Thwomp would be a King Thwomp that you either hit with pows, hammer, or even bombs And finally, turn Piranha Plants into Petey Piranha or maybe Navel Piranha.
I feel like they should add the wallop from super mario 3d land because even though its in a 3d game I feel like it would still work well as a 2d enemy but also be exclusive to 3d world style since its from 3d land
I agree with all of these. After SMM first came out I’d always hoped for Spikes, Mechakoopas, and Koopalings, and I was amazed that we actually got them. So it’s definitely possible that we could get these one day.

King bill in 3d World takes an appearance to the NSMBU style.

I still don’t understand why Nintendo excluded the Fire Bro enemy to the 3D World game style when it made an appearance in SMB3 and NSMBU. Same goes for the Porcupuffer.
i totally agree with all 5. and the boomerang bro is without a doubt very silly they did not brought it in the game. they still want to keep things limited as possible. but i gotta say that they really need to start taking it seriously and give us what we actually expect from them. if they gonna keep ignoring this, yeah well it was a nice game but their goes your money mate. i mean i still have plenty of other games to play so i hope they will make the right choice.
My fav boss that’s not in the game already is kamek and kamek can change some of the blocks into ice blocks with enemies in them and can duplicate himself and he flys on a broom so he’s hard to hit. (And I think he’s unique)
Got some more enemies to mention from smw. King Boo, Snake Boo, Dino Rhino, Boney Beetle, Spike ball chain, ninji and the boss Reznor. I wish all these could have been in Super Mario Maker 2.

Very good list, they all see the most logic inclusions after Spike and Pokey got added ;) Too many list include really obscure and irrelevant enemies. Three other enemies that are missing of that imo are Fuzzies and Boss Bass for the gameplay options and Reznor (those platform Dinos of SMW) for the complete package of recurring bosses. Also before people begin on shy guys they actually never rappeared in platform SMB games after SMB2 only in Yoshi and Party games. And thanks for compiling this, I’m subscribing
Blue and Yellow Shell Koopas. 1.5 speed from regular green shell koopas. Blue is more of a smart shell where if mario isn't below or in the direction it is facing it will act as a red shell but if mario is below and in the direction it is facing then it will act as a green shell. Also Blue flying Yoshi and Yellow Groundstomp Yoshi could be a nice addition.
We need other bros like why isnt fire bro in other styles. And ice bro and boomerang bro really should be added I would also like red piranha plants to be added as well but obviously it would only be for super mario bros 1 style

I still don’t understand why Nintendo excluded the Fire Bro enemy to the 3D World game style when it made an appearance in SMB3 and NSMBU. Same goes for the Porcupuffer.
i totally agree with all 5. and the boomerang bro is without a doubt very silly they did not brought it in the game. they still want to keep things limited as possible. but i gotta say that they really need to start taking it seriously and give us what we actually expect from them.
if they gonna keep ignoring this, yeah well it was a nice game but their goes your money mate. i mean i still have plenty of other games to play so i hope they will make the right choice.

My fav boss that’s not in the game already is kamek and kamek can change some of the blocks into ice blocks with enemies in them and can duplicate himself and he flys on a broom so he’s hard to hit. (And I think he’s unique)
Got some more enemies to mention from smw. King Boo, Snake Boo, Dino Rhino, Boney Beetle, Spike ball chain, ninji and the boss Reznor. I wish all these could have been in Super Mario Maker 2.

Very good list, they all see the most logic inclusions after Spike and Pokey got added ;) Too many list include really obscure and irrelevant enemies. Three other enemies that are missing of that imo are Fuzzies and Boss Bass for the gameplay options and
Reznor (those platform Dinos of SMW) for the complete package of recurring bosses.
Also before people begin on shy guys they actually never rappeared in platform SMB games after SMB2 only in Yoshi and Party games.

My Most Desired Enemy is Poison Mushroom and it’s Basically the Rotten Mushroom but appears in All Styles and Both Day and Night

Blue and Yellow Shell Koopas.
1.5 speed from regular green shell koopas.
Blue is more of a smart shell where if mario isn't below or in the direction it is facing it will act as a red shell but if mario is below and in the direction it is facing then it will act as a green shell.
Also Blue flying Yoshi and Yellow Groundstomp Yoshi could be a nice addition.
You can change the level them in subareas, so we NEED the same with gamestyles
