i still can't believe how HUGE they are now! the first time i saw them, there was almost no one in the room, and i got chills from how amazing and raw their performance was. i still get those chills, but the immense amounts of cheering and love in the room add so much to it. i see a lot of people on youtube complaining about how popular they've become, but why complain? they haven't stopped making great music. why not just be happy for them?
This was my first Avett Brothers show and I must say it was a great great experience. It was so cool to see five year olds attending along with their parents. I could listen to them all day long and often times I do. An Avett Brothers concert is heaven on earth.
Got to meet the brothers and Scott's kids (Max and Eleanor) about a month ago at his art show in Charlotte. They really are great people, and the children are already turning out to be wonderful. The little girl especially is full of character! It was probably the best day of my life:)
Holy moly. The "let 'em get quiet thing" certainly didn't get a chance! :P Love the cheer on the first "It's so good to be back home again" - with the little grin by the guys.
I was there with my husband and my little boy and girl. It was a perfect night (even with the crazy weather). Can't wait to see y'all again. THANKS! :)
wow! You just got a fan and the song hasn't even finished playing lol How come this is the first time I heard of you? Well, I am happy to find your music! Will be listening to more of your amazing voice.
Sorry Scott, we didn't get quiet for you...you didn't seem to mind so much though. One of the best nights of my life (behind the Asheville performance 12.30.10)
thank you mike. this was an absolute pleasure to watch. i felt like i was reliving it all over. =] will you be posting any of your other footage from the show? *thinking of you shawna*
@takeoffyourclothes I agree... people constantly complain about fans screaming and singing on these videos. I know damn well, every show I've been to I've sang, danced, screamed and probably knocked some bootleggers camera of of their hands. TAB are all about live shows and enjoying the shows when you go!
Best live music experience of my life was this song that night. I can still feel the place shaking when I listen again
“Far out!!”
Well done. Well done!!
Right on...FAR OUT

I was in the front row that night. They were great
You three did the song justice!!! John Denver would be pleased. Great Job! As John Denver used to say in his shows: "FAR OUT!!!"

*thinking of you shawna*
@sillytothejoe - i thought the same thing when i saw Scott in the crackerfarm video if November Blue!!
That whole "let 'em get quiet" thing never panned out.
What a gentleman to mention Shawna in your comments. You rock Mike!
"let em get quiet" haha, they didn't , which was actually a shame cos we could not hear well at all. Such a beautiful song.
I was in the pit and at one point it was so loud I could barely hear them.
This needs to be recorded in studio.
home cooking baby !!!!
Dang, where does Scott get his hair cut?
Thumbs up people if you were there!!
what a cutie patootie
@ncackgrl lol yeah.. same colors though so it's easy to get it mixed up
Does he say "snorting rails" after he drinks the Mt. Dew ? LMFAO !!!!
What singer is scott mentioning?
@jcd28277 That would be the really southern drink Sun Drop not the dew ;)

@avettfan4211 I'm pretty sure that is a Sun Drop can
@ncackgrl ok after watching it again it is a Mt. Dew
They played it on the rocks
@IndependentPresident I think he said Roy Orbison.
@wuthering72 - ?? Your comment does not really make any sense...
@whartonia Thanks :)
watch?v=7VuXNpXSPrE :D
Crackerfarm is my unhealthy habit in the making. More please and thank you.
Snortin Rails!!
For a second when Seth first appeared I thought he was Jason Schwartzmann. That's weird.
1 person dislikes this?!?! they must be from up north
why couldnt they drink sundrop
@IndependentPresident Roy Orbison
Sounds like it was a great show. As for this video: terrible sound quality. Everyone backstage looked extremely uncomfortable.
Can't hear the singing for all the screaming
@ncackgrl are you suuuure? lol watch again @ 0:10
