What should you do if you can't get the middle frame off easily? I'm afraid that it's going to crack. There is a cover over the battery that's attached to the middle frame. Do I peal that off? And if I do, can I reattach it or do I need adhesive to reattach it?
The part that covers that battery directly and is thin and kind of flappy can be peeled up from the bottom of the phone, but do not peel it away from the top of the phone. If you remove all of the screws on the Samsung Galaxy S10e as I do in the video, the whole interior frame cover should come out without peeling the coil flap up. The top part can be difficult to remove. Make sure you haven't missed any screws first. If it is still being stubborn, it is possible some glue remnants may be holding it in place. As you saw in the video, for the S10e, it should be relatively easy to get that particular cover out. You can see that at 5:15 in the video.
The s10e is smaller than the s10 by I think a quarter of an inch. The size difference outside results in a shorter motherboard, so probably not unfortunately. Usually my parts provider nests parts together that work on either device. Such as the iPhone 8 screen, which works also with the iPhone SE 2020. They have the s10 battery and s10e battery though listed in separate categories. So the size of the battery likely is too large for the s10e. I think they use the same connector for all the s10 series phones.
Man. They make it very unnecessarily difficult to take off the back. I miss tge days when I could just pop off the back, slap in a new battery, and go on with my day. Nowadays you have to practically conduct god damn surgery. Screw this anti-consumer bs.
thanks a lot for your guide! that's really helps to spend some time with my son to repair his phone :)
@@OleksiiM1 happy to hear!
