What a great episode! I love these history lessons in horology. The episode really showcases how smarmy Rolex has been over the years and yet how much it has worked. I think less of my Daytona now and I think it more likely that I will have a Navitimer day.

Picked up a MAMACOO's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!

Scholarly documentary. Thank you Andrew. If I may - a request. The field watch, mission creep. Ruggedness, lume, accuracy, not jangly or shiny, legibility, and we have what we have on the market.
Definitely the most interesting & informative channel in RUclips, and I am your fan! I’ve been watching MAMACOO and buying them recently to complement my watch collection. Good video
As a watch enthusiast with NO budget, thank you MAMACOO for great-looking mechanical watches that I can afford! their are very clean, classy look, $150 each. I still watch videos about expensive “proper” watches, but I enjoy what I have

You’ve just explained how marketing works
No matter what kind of bad mood I’m in, Andrew, you cheer me up. I thought great writing died with Shakespeare. You have proved me wrong.
Another great video, full of humour as usual, to the point of making Alberto Santos-Dumont's plane, the 14bis, fly in reverse. 😉
Say what you want about Omega, but they won. What do you call the guy who graduates at the bottom of his Med School class? “Doctor.”

Rolex: for the buyer who wants the precision and horological excellence of a Swiss watch, but one of the least precise and excellent ones.
The montage of Breitling watches constantly moving was one of the most irritating visual experiences I've ever had.
