I'm going to be defending Soyool with my entire body. She did nothing wrong. If you betray someone and f*ck them up then just be prepared to handle their revenge. She did nothing wrong, yet she got cheated on by her boyfriend, her best friend (that wench) didn't even have a hint of guilt on her face throughout the movie despite claiming to be her best friend, even in the end before she was dying, I was expecting her to at least apologise but she didn't, Soyool still felt guilty about witnessing her death omg she's such a pure soul. And then even in the end her ex didn't even feel guilty. All he said was that he didn't love her (Wow surprise) and just died as if Soyool was the homewrecker. My blood was boiling throughout the movie about how Soyool was the one who had to face all the consequences though nothing was ever her fault. She deserved better, a really better ending.
IKR?! the worst part is they never apologized to her. Some people said that she took her revenge too far but I think that was not enough. Her song got banned ? well, thats the price for betraying your bestfriend. Yeonwoo was jailed? well, SoYool never ask you to hit someone's head with bottle. They did that to themselves . They even planned to run to Italy together but Yeonwoo never even said he wants to break up with Soyool. I dont remember any scene where he told Soyool that he was cheating and apologized in front of her. He only apologized in a fkin letter and killed himself. The funny part is Yeonhee betray her friend and expected Soyool to be nice to her? everyone would do the same. I'll feed her to the hungry animals too. She killed someone and Soyool never tell her to do that. I know she's almost got r*ped and that is terrifying but Im sorry to say, she should at least feel how hurt is betrayal especially when it comes from your beloved one. I dont think that she was sincere with Soyool either. At least be sorry but she never did. All she know is she's the victim.
God the audacity of her so called best friend to say that " i didn't do anything wrong and i didn't took anything away from her" when she asked why you cheated with her fiance totally made my blood boil. After doing all the shity things possible to her, she was calling her the "whore" and "bad woman" like seriously hypocrisy on another level. It's one of the most beautiful k-movies out there. The script, the acting, the songs, the cinematography was all very artistic. Many are taking side of Sool-ah and others Yeon-hee. For me, none was completely right nor completely wrong. But I do feel that Sool took her revengy thing too far but I still feel the most sad for her as she lose everything and most importantly her own kind-hearted, beautiful self.
