If someone wants to test this focal length out without the commitment, the Kodak Powerflash disposable is a 35mm equivalent. Obviously not the same as a traditional point & shoot but a good way to figure out if you’d like that focal length for street. It helped me figure out that I like shooting wider, although I do have a soft spot for 40 & 50mm. Great videos as always Eddie!
With the minimal focus distance of the range finder it’s easier to use the 35mm like a 28 then the other way around. You can almost always take a step back but you can’t get closer.
I seem to be a 50mm guy on my Leica and a 35mm guy on my Nikon gear. Although I have more 50mm lenses collectively than 35mm ones. I have a 50mm Summarit 2.4 on my M11, a 50mm Summicron v5 on my M Monochrom, and a 50mm Summicron v3 on my film M5. Another great video. I always enjoy watching them.
I used 35mm for a looooong time. I fell in love with 28mm last year, but I can't seem to let my 35mm Biogon go. It's such a beautiful lens and I'm sure I'll come back around to it.
Gotta love the 35mm i dont shoot film yet but its my preference on digital...28mm is nice but 35 Gets you in moment as well as an observer...the mother daughter is my favs
7Artisans sells a double sided tape applied focus tab. I have two of them -- one on my 50mm Summicron v5 and another on my 50mm Summicron v3. Best $12 spent.

That's actually really smart. Thanks for the rec.

Well dang! Thanks for helping me not feel crazy owning multiple of the same focal lengths. 😅
@@eddie_g LOL! I also have a 50mm Summarit that is on my M11 most of the time. :)

Yea this 35 biogon is nasty haha. just wait till my Parker days video.
35mm is my favorite focal length and the most used one. Yet many of my favorites pictures were taken with my 60mm lens. So really, there is no rule.
Yea I’ll never settle haha. It’s just about what’s right for the image

Some of my favorite 35mm lens photos are in "Suffering of Light." I love the POV, Eddie!
I might need to check that one out.
I'm actually such a huge fan of 28mm I usually stick between 28mm-40mm
I know whenever I come back to it I'll fall in love instantly lol.
