It's Official: United Airlines Removes Boeing 737 MAX 10 From Expected Deliveries

  • Опубликовано: 9 мар 2024
  • According to an SEC filing, United Airlines has removed the Boeing 737 MAX 10 from its fleet plan from this year until after 2025. This comes after a string of problems with Boeing quality control and delays in the certification of the aircraft type.
In January 2024, an exit door plug blew out on an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9, leading to a decision from the Federal Aviation Administration to ground the MAX 9s with the same configuration as the affected aircraft. Upon inspection, several aircraft were found to have loose bolts on the door plugs, and Boeing took responsibility for the problems.

Well, look at Lufthansa! The original Plan was to retire A380´s, A340´s & B747-400. But because of the "still unknown" Delay of the 777-X, Lufthansa had to reschedule the Fleet Planing and now, they have to operate all the "old" Planes again and they still need more Capacity. Latest News say, that they will refurbish the Buisness Class in the A380s, because they plan to use the Plane past 2030´s. And the Production Line of Airbus Jet´s are full, until the End of the Decade, so to swap from Boeing to Airbus is also not possible, to get new Jets in the near Future! And there are no Alternatives...COMAC Widebody..still in Development, Russian Widebody IL-96-400M no thanks! I am calculating at least for the next 5 Years with huge troubles thanks to Boeings poor Managment.
