Back to one of your first videos from S’bury - We’ve spent lots of family time at that super cinema in S’bury Town Old Market Hall. Really unique place. Best go up in the lift to the Small and cosy cinema with modern coffee/cake shop and plenty of nice seating in the lounge with a view over the Market Square. Super, clean toilets but strange sensation as you feel like you’re in an aircraft on this upper level - floor of corridor and loos shakes!! But good central place to relax while spending a day in town.

Have you thought of an electric over blanket? You can leave them on all night 120w max.
I have but at 120w that's too much for me lol. I could justify 80w possibly but I'll keep looking for an over blanket 🙂
am looking to car camp in wales this week but the bad weather and cold has arrived!
I would say it you have adequate heating then go for it but I'm not sure my setup would help me in freezing temps. Really need to get a van and a diesel heater 🙂

@@BrendanExplores it states 40w and warns not to use without engine running as battery will drain lol ideal for use with a jackery which I'm still saving for.
@@oddjobman1000 don’t go for the 500, I spent a grip on the 500 and the portable panels and loved it for the summer, roll on winter and it won’t power any kind of heating 😢 wish I knew or did my homework more as would of saved a bit longer for a bigger one

Excellent vid Brendan ...do you know if that campsite is open during winter?.... electronic blankets are the way to go btw....I have a 240 under blanket and a 12v over blanket in my van....very rarely use both simultaneously as it feels like you're in a giant George Foreman Grill! 😁.....keep the vids coming mate 👍

Great video Brendan, love the Jackery, im really sad I purchased the Jackery 500 and portable solar panels last year and am now realising that although it has the 3 pin uk plug, it will not power a small heater, even a van camping small heater and the Jackery can’t cope and won’t power it, a little disappointed as won’t be able to get out much now the weather is cold… great you got the Jackery 1000 and can actually power stuff. I spent a whole heap of cash on the 500 and solar panels just to only be able to charge my phone and run the cool box for a few hours 🤦♀️🤦♀️disappointed, keep up the great videos
Hey mate, all the products I used in today's video can also be powered by the Explorer 500 as well 🙂. Although you won't get quite as much power to run them for long periods of time, your setup could definitely work if you only put the heating on for short periods of time 👍 maybe before bed 🙂
I must do a video on it actually and see what it can power to warrant purchasing a Jackery 500 van life/ car camping doesn’t stop for winter. Watch this space… look forward to your videos, great to see another person in the uk that likes to just disappear off and explore

Look into building your own .it might be cheaper ? There are vanbuilders here on RUclips .I watch liamtheterrible they do awesome van builds but they are up north .

Brendan your burgers always look sooo good! have you thought about making your own, I can recommend a great recipe.
- get some mince meat.. add yourself some herbs and spices that take your fancy or just go easy with some garlic and meat.
-some nice strong cheese to mold your mince meat around.
-Wrap some bacon around the mince meat- so you make like a little parcel
-obviously some onions if you like them!.

This looks such a lush place. Bought a 30 year old H reg Talbot swift 2 months ago after mentioning that I was looking at them. Tried a couple of places and ironed out some of the comfort issues.

I would say it is a good option if you can run it all night in weather like this 👍. It you can't then I would suggest also having a quality sleeping bag rated to below 0 comfort 🙂
