I would actively sign every petition to bring back clear electronics. They appeal to the nerdy part of me that wants to see how things work. I legit remember all of this. I eventually got one of the glitter lamps as a birthday gift, but I didn't get any of this growing up. Haha. That is such a creative way of doing color temperature! I would have never thought of that!! Thank you! I am the only one I know who liked Sin City! Kevin freaked me out more than any of the other characters. I was so surprised that Elijah Wood played him but he did so good. I really like what you did with these prompts!

Oh my gosh! You are describing my room in the 90’s! I didn’t have a bean bag chair but wanted one, but I did get the inflatable chair for Christmas one year. It was uncomfortable and lasted all of three days before it got a hole in it from my siblings and I jumping on it. I also had bunk beds where the bottom bunk folded into a futon couch. I didn’t have the disco ball nor did I have the computer, but eventually I got a hand-me-down VHS TV. I had the plasma ball too. The one thing I remember wanting so bad that I never did get was Spencer‘s gifts had a stoplight that you could hang on your wall and it would just rotate between the red yellow and green and I thought that was the coolest thing, but never did get it.

My high school bedroom was literally 2 walls pink and 2 walls bright green opposite each other, just like you painted. I was inspired but a Mudd shoe box. 🤣
Two things firstly inflatable furniture is easy for cat claws to poke holes in, you will be lucky if it survives a day 13 year old me found it out quickly. And two if you slice eggplant and mix your favourite spices with coconut cream or milk for minimum 30 minutes and grill it so it’s a little charred it’s yummy. I also absolutely loved your sin city pages amazing 🤩 ❤
Create color temperature was my favorite of this batch, but I loved them all! 🤩 As for an Eggplant recipe, Ratatouille! I spent years trying to like Eggplant as well. But then I tried a ratatouille recipe, yes inspired by the movie 😅, and I absolutely loved it! But there are a lot of tomatoes in it, so not sure how happy Cody would be with it. 😂 I'll send you the one I love.
I love eggplant! If you stir fry them with some soy sauce and other veggies they are great! Also eggplant Parmesan is an amazing dish! Blackberries are hands down my favorite fruit! ❤

The first page is my favorite. I didn't realize i had most of these things growing up in my room that were considered cool for the era, except the mac and the inflatable chair (cats destroyed furniture) i loved the tv vhs combo i kept well on up through the 2000s until could no longer get tv free without a box. 😅 definitely nostalgia moment. Love that page.
Eggplant: cut em like 1/3 in slices and pat dry. Put on a drying rack over pan for an hour or 2 and pat dry again. Liberally salt both sides and let sit another half hour. Pan fry in olive oil until they look a little burned and have black spots. Then top with a chunkier salt and eat. Also any caponata recipe (cooked vegetable salad basically)
Oh I could sit n watch you create all day. It's such a refreshing change to see more of the dark art than all hearts n flowers n girlie stuff like that. Keep doing you hun as you're fab. Love every page.. my youngest won't go near broccoli. Try celery dipped in peanut butter.. it sounds yuk but it's heavenly. My counsellor called it a prozak stick coz of what is in this combination has the feelgood factor. My son will eat cherry tomatoes like sweets(candy to u guys). Another really good, but horrifying, movie to make use of the colour emphasis was Schindler’s List. I did really enjoy Sin City though, and you did a great job on it. And Kevin, ugh Kevin! He ain’t no Hannibal Lechter.

The 90s page is amazing and so nostagic! I was a teenager in the 90s and graduated in 1997, but I still had quite a few of the things on that list. I had the pink and blue imac and they were so dang cute!! My issue with the inflatable chair was it always went flat after a while so blowing it back up was a pain. The scene in Sin City with the dogs was just too much for me. I think I'm more a dark fantasy girl instead of outright horror. You did amazingly with the art though! I just love your style. We had a room when we where younger where two walls where bright pink and the others where bright yellow! I LOVED them, now I realize they are a little ugly….. but
I don't think I knew about inflatable chairs or see-through electronics when I was a kid (my family was poor), but I think a remnant of being a 90s kid is I still love slouchy chairs akin to bean bag chairs. Or at least the idea of them, lol. Come to think of it, I did have a foldable "chair" that was all cushions sewed together, so it could be converted to a "mattress." It wasn't terribly comfortable, but I read a ton and used it until it died, lol. The rainbowy produce page came out very pretty. In the future, a timestamp to skip "adult" pages like that last one would be appreciated =)
I had the clear phone and the massive beanbag chair. I didn't like "beds" when I was a kid because I didn't like mattresses. I actually went from a waterbed (watermattress on the floor) to the massive beanbag to a futon but it was the futon that was with the lift bed 😂 It doesn't get more 90s than that. I wanted to eat that 2nd prompt. Totally agree with how some fruits/veg "look" do good but their flavor does not match their appearance 😅 I want to love Dragon fruit and Artichoke because they are the 2 most beautiful foods! But I can't stand eatting either 😵💫 Red, grey, black and white is like the most classic color scheme. Now just imagine that first prompt meeting up with that 3rd prompt. Thats like my ideal house and I drive my husband crazy with my color choices😂

I’m gonna have to agree with you on liking celery and raw carrots, but not cooked carrots. But I’m a tomato hater. I mean I like tomato products like ketchup, tomato soup, and marinara sauce, but the tomatoes themselves really gross me out. They taste like sewage and they’re wet and the seeds coming out of them look too much like red blood cells. I guess for me, my hate for tomatoes is just a bunch of sensory stuff cuz I like them when they’re blended up into soups or sauces
