Hi i hope you can give me guidance on breeding fish I tried with both male and female halfmoon added the almond leaves , added de-chlorinator , got a huge bubblenest but the male keep chasing away the female should i just leave them be in the breeding tank or should i remove them and try again after a few week. I conditioned both bettas with brine shrimps
@@petfishchannel yep live blood and black worms and humidity of tank is 97% One male has managed to blow 20small bubbles that dont pop today on his 4th attempt of breeding so I'm hoping tomorrow morning will be a small bubble nest, his a very gorgeous copper/lavender dragon scale plakat his partnered female constantly drops eggs each week because she is very eggbound going through a few breeding attempts with no luck
@@tomhalf3018 sometimes breeding can still be successful even if the male don't know how to build a massive nest. You can try to put a floater like a piece of styrofoam or a piece of plastic or floating live plants where the male can attach his nest. This way he don't need to build a big nest
hey...how did u condition the male and female befor breeding
Wow, very helpful to fish breeders.👍👍🥰

There's lots of things to consider but I would leave them for 2 to 3 days, if they still dont have eggs, I will stop the breeding
breathtaking !!!
Thank you for watching!
Please help!!
Do snails eat the eggs?
how many day sixy again Sir
What do you do if male doesn't blow bubblenest, my 2 males refuse to blow bubbles
Good water with lots of tannins and heated to 28c
Have you tried feeding them with live food?

So how did you get the female out of such a small tank without disturbing the nest
drive the female away from the nest then use a small scoop to take take her our :) That will do the trick!
