Why would you cook the pasta in the sauce? It means you’ve got to juggle the cooking of the pasta to sync in with the sauce. If you cook it separately you can get the sauce right then just put the cooked pasta in
If you’re not a fan of washing up, people will prefer this method as you only use 1 pot.
