Love your content so much bro - so entertaining. I can already make desi food thanks to my mum and Nani teaching me from young but your videos are so good I love watch them to learn new stuff. Thanks so much for blessing us with this free content !!!!!
Seconded!
I appreciate that a lot, thanks for watching and support!!
Made this when you first posted it on tiktok, it came out so good! I also added a stock cube, I usually add to dishes so they taste more rich 😊
Looks amazing keep up the good work
Made this last night, having already made your Korma and meat curry from your excellent cookbook. Turned out amazing once again. Love your twist on technique, like with the tomatoes and using quite a lot of water. Watching the sauce thicken and come together towards the end is subliminal man!
Love the food and the after tips
Keep up the good work 👊🏾
Just made this, and omg where have you been all my life! What a tasty dish! Bought your book immediately! Well done!

❤bro i tried this yesterday and my family loved it. Thank you so much. Your brilliant
For the uninitiated, why does the garam masala go in later then the other spices?
As someone growing up in a Desi household, I can appreciate the tin foil on the stove

Thanks, I'm from Bradford and spoilt for good curry but always like to see simple chicken curry. When Did u take the cinnamon stick out
You don't have to take it out, but if you want to, I would take it out after simmering it with the chicken for the first 10-12 minutes.
Just started watching you, contents is fantastic!

How much ml is the grey cup you used for oil in the beginning of the video?
Hey, they are measuring cups and can be bought from any supermarket. Each one of them grey cups is 4 tbsp, 60 ml.
Thank youuuu
Love a good Curry
I’m in love with your cooking pan, can’t seem to find any at the local apna shops, where can I find this ?
Hey it’s from Amazon, linked in description
Just a heads up mate only 1 link works. The rest don't on your Amazon list @@whatinthechef
Why do you use oil instead of ghee
Because he thinks it's healthier and he has no clue how bad vegetable oils are, also , the change fron ghee to vegetable oils has not been good for the average Indians general health
Great video brother Imran.
Could you make kala bhuna?
Could u put cream in it at the end?
Amazing can you please show your meat and pumpkin curry pls 😊
Looks great!! Us Bengali don’t usually use kasthuri methi
Thanks, and yes it’s not Bengali specific. Just general after trying many different versions.

Been following you for a bit on tick tock do you have an saag paneer recepies ?
yesss... but this is in my curry cookbook!!
Cant wait to try this.. my chicken curry is absolutely rubbish.
Would you say i could use chicken drumsticks instead of thighs as im planning on making this for tea tomorrow?
You mean keeping them whole? I would say use cut up thighs for definite.
@@whatinthechef I've actually just been to shop and bought some thighs but they have the bone in so would you say I remove the bone and the skin and chop it up into pieces ?
How would you change it if you used chicken breast. Also we need a instant noodle dish!!!!
I recommend not using chicken breast as it’s dry. But if you do, use a mix of thighs and breast. And add around 10 tbsp of oil
How about chicken with potatoes please you did ask for our preferences
What no Ramesh Peas or Butternut Squash? 😂
Just realised U put Ur mic on the bloody spooooooooooon 😂😂😂😂😂

Why reduce water then add water ?
STOCK
STOCK
STOCK
STOCK
😂😂😂
Reduction isn't simply removing water, it helps to lose any off flavours from volatiles, especially useful when making stock.
In this case I think it's also about caramalisation. If you start with all the water in at once it's going to take longer to reduce down to the right consistency for this to happen, and you would still need to add back in once it's ready for it anyway.
@baghiballsakh82 reduction is nothing more than simmering away some of the water in whatever liquid you're using so that what remains is the flavorful non-water part. This gives you the flavor without all of the volume. Adding water reduces the flavour. Your reply is incorrect. Don't believe me google it
Just started watching going to try ur recipe. Thanks😂
Love the channel, but the voice is getting to me slowly, does he really sound like that or is he putting it on?!?!
What you meeeaaaan man 😅
What part of UK speak like this as sometimes hard to understand.
Why use this much of vegetable oil ?
Wake up people, start switching to cold pressed oils and watch some Dr. Berg videos on refined oils to all the Western people reading this !
you lost me at vegetable oil.
you know thats hella bad for you right?
why not coconut or sesame oil?
Vegetable oil is no good lmao
