Fun video! You covered multiple topics which made this video different than most. With the process of egg laying Moms to eggs about the hatch to new borns. As well as a fun adventure trip to another breeder and what they’re working with. All around good stuff! Thanks! Donnie Abbott, Abbott’s Eden!
Great video. I would like to know more about the shed testing. Where do you send the shed, how much does it cost? I would like to find out what my ball python is besides pastel. Do they do boas also? I would like to see what my redtail boa is.
I really like these longer videos. I miss the content creators that used to do more in depth videos pre-covid. Codoms though, there aren't any co-dominant morphs in ball pythons, incomplete dominant. Also, a friend of mine had a club tail male ball like the one, and a good number of babies he produced were also clubbed or deformed across several different females.
We sell animals like the one in the video privately as pets, and we never list them publicly for sale. When I said it wouldn't affect his ability to breed, I meant that because the tail is kinked at that low area, it does not hinder his normal bodily functions. In other words, it's not the type of deformity that would warrant euthanasia or affect quality of life in any way. And yes, of course - we just use codoms occasionally when speaking because it's faster to say than incomplete dominant. We don't script these videos so we are just speaking off the cuff. Never going to be 100% perfect.
Great video even though I expected something else from the title. The title to me makes it sound like it would show more of the every day things and care, while the actual video mostly showed off wonderful snakes (which is nice, just not what I expected from the title)
We have - but it's been a while! He's been a friend of ours for many years. We have a video from about 12-13 years ago on the channel from when we went to see him!
