Been waiting for these updated base morph id videos! Thanks Kinova! Hope this will be a series! Leopard sn bp rs ghi in complicated combos, all that good stuff :)
My fiancé heard me watching your video and said: "Yellow-belly, rootin-tootin, cowboy-shootin, clown, pied, super banana." He laughs at the gene combos everytime. xD
i really like this type of video because when watching egg hatching videos for example and people are saying what genes a snake has, i can't even really follow along because i don't know what the features are to tell them apart. and i know it takes practice to be able to notice the different things but a series of videos just showing the different things that can be looked at to tell what genes a snake has would be great and each video could be a different gene and what to look for to try and figure out what genes a snake has in it and how to tell them apart. just an idea, and i would definitely watch them lol.
i loved this long form of looking through them. you guys have the collection to really show us the beauty of this gene. holly cow, id love to be in the pied project cuz thats where i started loving the natural artwork of genes
Amazing Video, Fantastic to see examples side by side, i do hope this becomes a series, would be amazing to have to turn too when your just not quite sure Thank you Justin and Team ❤
These videos are so helpful! I've been waiting for someone to go into real depth of what to look for. Thank you for showing us not just the single combo but in other more complex combo's! It definitely helps!
I like this video you need to do more like this some morphs are hard to pick out and I like that you point out how it may be Suttle by it's self but adds so much to other combo's pastel gets a bad rap but with some combo's it's the key that makes it all pop
I feel like I’ve noticed links with het hypo and hypo pop-corning from the belly. Maybe it’s yb interactions idk. Is that something you’ve traced het hypos with?
@@KINOVAReptiles sometimes the pop-corning looks like pattern/alien heads connecting by the belly. Atleast in the few I’ve noticed. Definitely more noticeable in homozygous.
I really like the video is very very educational and I also have problems with spot nose you should do something on that because that was very good educational video. Thank you.
@KINOVAReptiles These videos do hope even though it's A little different than being right in front of you. that's why I'm trying to start with 1, 2 or 3 gene combo's but even then sometimes it's hard to tell
I wish you did pinstripe yb, I have a hard time with that one. I have a snake that was sold to me as an enchi pin yb but I'm beginning to think she's is just a pretty lemonblast😅.
Update: she is amazing 👏!!!! Also very beautiful!! She has a perfect puppy paw headstamp and almost perfect alien heads. There are not too many flames but amazing!!!!
Yellow bellies aren’t bad some of them looked nicer then the originals but some of the originals honestly looked cleaner and nicer without yellow belly in them of course it’s all opinions yellow belly is a cool gene though
This helped us a lot in identifying our recent clutch. The only morph i am missing is CG/Banana YB difference. Preferably with clown/cinnamon in it. Could you help with that? Maybe not in an yt vid but via personal way? It would be a awesome gesture of help. 🫶 cheers and keep up these vids.

Love how you show the difference in them . Thank you we hope to take our small business to the next level this year.
You can do it!
@@KINOVAReptiles thank you we hope our granddaughter take it over when we get too old. She loves it.
Even if someone is petrified of snakes, they would find these just stunning!
We hope so! Thanks!
Could definitely be the best YB identification video I have seen!
Thanks, we needed that.
Great video loved it very informative and btw love my calendar ❤
Yay! Thank you!
Love this. I have an ivory het DG (poss visual) that I can't wait to find a lady for and get YB in all of em.
Great examples. Love my pieds I got from you a few years ago....absolutely thriving. I'd be interested in a video on i.d.-ing gene x in combos.
I loved the way u show the diffrend side by side.. really helpfull. thank you for a great video. I hope you make more like this.

Loved the video. Thank you so much for doing it! I hope to see lots more.
More to come!
Very helpful video! Learned a lot!
Great video definitely need more of these 💯
Was that Pastel OD YB Enchi Pied my boy? 🥹🖤
Did you cut the video when the tails hooked because you needed help to separate them?
Haha probably - it’s hard wrangling multiple wiggly baby snakes!
@leonsdenuk yellowbelly, puzzle, tristripe, pied. Does this work ? , looks like it would from the yellowbelly puzzle. Thankyou
I feel like I’ve noticed links with het hypo and hypo pop-corning from the belly. Maybe it’s yb interactions idk. Is that something you’ve traced het hypos with?
I haven’t noticed that but I’ll watch for it!

I really like the video is very very educational and I also have problems with spot nose you should do something on that because that was very good educational video. Thank you.
Thanks, glad it was helpful! We definitely plan to do more and Spotnose will for sure be on the list :)
Definitely helped me out with this one 🍜🤘🏾
Glad to hear it
I was just going through my collection and was wondering about a few that looked like they might be YB
Hopefully this will help you narrow it down for sure!!
Why is it that ball pythons have all these different mutations where as alot of other snake dont have these wild mutations?
Ball Pythons live under ground in the wild. So mutations tend to survive instead of being picked off by predators. 🙌☝️
Master! Please mor of this! Exackly like you now ❤🎉
Love puzzle yb ❤️ 😍 next yr should have het puzzles 🎉
Great video. I wish you would have used redstrip. I just got a pastel yb redstrip, and after I got it, I'm not so sure it has rs in it
We can do a Redstripe one soon!
@KINOVAReptiles These videos do hope even though it's A little different than being right in front of you. that's why I'm trying to start with 1, 2 or 3 gene combo's but even then sometimes it's hard to tell
The second pair shown with the "plain" pastel...did that also have enchi in it?
No, it's het Zebra which causes some banding :)
Good morning 🌞
Your Yellow-belly pied is really gorgeous 😍
Oh thank you!
Awesome. Please do Mahogany!
Can you help with Pinstripe and YB?
I wish you did pinstripe yb, I have a hard time with that one. I have a snake that was sold to me as an enchi pin yb but I'm beginning to think she's is just a pretty lemonblast😅.
How about specter?
My favorite ❤️ were the black pastels.
My baby YB will be here in the morning!!!
Update: she is amazing 👏!!!! Also very beautiful!! She has a perfect puppy paw headstamp and almost perfect alien heads. There are not too many flames but amazing!!!!
I'm betting you 20$ that the single gene pastel is also Het Zebra 😉
Good eye!
I love pastel yellow belly❤😊
I didn't watch till the end,but i always thought YB had a white spot on the head also?
Nope!
Why does that Pastel look like Pastel Enchi??...
Those albino 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yellow bellies aren’t bad some of them looked nicer then the originals but some of the originals honestly looked cleaner and nicer without yellow belly in them of course it’s all opinions yellow belly is a cool gene though
I finally know what checkering means 😂
mooooaarrrr
