As you know, many numbers max out at 2,147,483,647 for damage or credit limit due to the number itself being of type int32. Changing it to int64 isn't doubling it, it's going from 4 bytes to 8 which means that the increase is goes up a whole helluva lot more. The new cap will be 9,223,372,036,854,775,807. I can't wait to use SLKR against the unkillable GG and see just how high the damage numbers go.
A good way to quantify. 2,147,483,647 seconds is about 70 years, the typical lifespan of a human. Meanwhile 9223372036854775807 seconds is older than the universe itself

Hard to believe that a "Forfeit" feature hasn't been added after all these years. CG 100% knows that airplane mode was our own workaround for this rubbish. As for the level cap, I hope they change the energy stored to 150/150 instead of 144/144. Always looked a little odd to me.
It's because the number 144 is divisible by the energy cost of every battle in the game. The big ones being 8 and 16. Though there are some other battles that cost less I can't remember them all.
Man, I've taken a few months to step away from SWGOH, and I've even stopped watching your videos and decided to watch this one and MAN Ahnaldt, you have kept this whole community afloat and your energy is unmatched. I havent even thought about playing again until I heard that beat drop.

I wouldn’t correlate the credit cap increase to a level increase. Basically all modern systems used for gaming are 64 bit nowadays so I bet they’re just upgrading their technology stack or working through some technical debt. It could mean that good times are coming since they’re investing in their systems / stack. Since why make a change like this if you’re not upgrading or modernizing since it can lead to problems in some situations

I was just thinking about this the other day when I was playing Watcher of Realms (since they as far as I know don't have a level cap or at least I don't know anyone that has hit it yet). If swtor is every going to raise the level limit since they have stopped doing gear levels and now have relic levels.
I don't understand how it would go up to level 90 unless that was for new characters only. It's seems like the level cap could only be increased to relic 10. They have sort of locked themselves into level 85 by changing from gear to relics as a means of level increase.
@@batmanwins5701 Maybe they'll make it so you can relic characters starting at level 85, but you'll be able to level up higher in parallel. Tho if they actually raised the level cap, i'd expect levelling above 85 to be more interesting and involved than normal levelling. I don't like that idea, but i'm pretty sure the game devs would want to do more than to just add a few new rankings for having spent credits on a character. We'll see tho

I guess there is a possibility that they move away from levels and relics and add a new leveling system and call it 'prestige' or something like that. Heck they could get really crazy and creat a prestige tree and have multiple branches of leveling that you could switch between for different situations. Oh god I hate that idea! Are they going to make tier 3 currency completely impossible to farm. Smh. Any raid sith or higher should "drop" tier 3 currency. Im thinking about quitting for them taking t3 currency from speeder raid. Im not being punked by devs to spend money for relic 7+

Well, others (e.g. people who have played for 8 years) have a huge advantage compared to me, which is about 4 years worth of extra credits to get all toons to lvl 85, work on mods and so on. So the credits struggle is there - for everyone who is "newer" to the game and wants to catch up to old timers.

Why such a limited mod capacity? You could spent credits to buy larger "holding containers." Also it's time for characters to go up to Level 100. 85 is such an arbitrary cut-off. I also want magic "unique" items. And a use for all the stupid mats we've collected.
If there was a level 90 how would that affect already reliced toons? Would they automatically be put to 90? Do you have to retroactively get them to 90?
