What you got at some point on your tv screen with the feedback was clearly a fractal (3:34), that setup indeed does a contractive mapping. ( like IFS system works)

I used to be a fractal fan, prefer dropping some acid than some line of codes today, more efficient !
Btw, i love your channel, it is refreshing, especially when i see what the electronic music scene music became lately (at least here in france),
fucking do experiments, that's the spirit !

Sorry I was self-teaching myself on feedback video effect and I was wandering about what you wrote
Do you mean the LZX VIDIOT's setup by "that setup indeed doea a contractive mapping"?
If it's not hard to explain, can you also help me out with some infos or some kind of researches?
Thank you in advance man, I'm also very much intrested in dropping acid stuff, peace

Dude, you’re videos are nothing short of inspirational. I’ve always wanted to get into synthesis but I never thought it could be something I could pursue. Now I’ve watched a lot of your videos and you’ve built everything so now I’m thinking I can do it.

This channel is the most inspirational thing in the whole internet. Just replased all software with analog stuff and I could not be more pleased about the outcome. Even your recommendation for live setup, the Behringer x-series was exactly what I needed. ..and now you just showed us how to control visuals without computer.
Seems like you are super intelligent life form that can teach us the super life. Cheers and thank you!

Yo Sam … when you pointed the video camera at the TV you transported me back 30 years to when I first started producing analogue visuals, a lot of which I still use to this day (please take a quick look at my channel - even though I know you’re crazily busy) And then , how did you know that *Tales of the River Bank* was my favourite tv program when I was a ickle child. I’m looking to incorporate my vj’ing with modular audio so will check out Vidiot and other stuff . . .
Your pipe organ is sounding and looking beyond amazing.

I discovered the endless loop years ago messing about with a Hi8 camcorder, most decent CRT tv's back in the day would have vertical and horizontal controls, plus separate RGB controls, that combined with mirroring, quartering and polarising effects on my camcorder basically created results very similar to this, great fun! If you like this sort of this check out Bill Viola, he is one of the grand fathers of video art, his work is incredible.

I've been interested in stuff like this for a while, videos for early rave music (Stakker Humanoid, Severed Heads - Big Car Retread) seem to have used this. And the VHS compilations VHS showcasing this and early CGI abstract shapes etc (the 3LUX series, The Evil Acid Baron Show). This still seems like a way to get interesting visuals with an element of live creativity and randomness

Completely bonkers!. Put a big smile on my face especially, the live video effects created with Furby. :-D This according to me is like doing live video editing, theatrics and experimentation with synthesis and whatever is at your disposal... and just blending and seeing the results. Very psychedelic and funny at the same time! Keep doing what you are doing!
