The food toss is a classic. I'm surprised its rice, I've never seen that, usually its shrimp or steak. I was at the Teppanyaki at VIM I think, years back, and the chef was tossing out food to open mouths. This one lady, who was done up, beautiful dress, I guess didn't think he'd toss one her way. She turned her head to talk to her husband just as the toss came, and took a greasy prawn right in the side of the face! AND it dropped straight down her cleavage! She looked choked and contemplated for several moments, how she was going to fish this out at a table full of strangers. She got redder and redder, until she decided to head to the washroom to fish it out. When she finally got back, still a bit red-faced, her husband pipes up, "well, how did it taste?" LOL
@@JimP226 Haha, classic! I knew of a server who was giving someone a plate of spaghetti and the whole thing slipped off the plate and went right onto the customer's lap. Without missing a beat, the server said, "Would you like pepper on that?"
Thank you so much! So glad u enjoyed it. There are about 2 restaurants that aren't included in the "normal" stay unless you upgrade to Star. I believe the same applies to certain bars. The adults only wing also has some exclusive items. Enjoy!
Excellent footage and very informative! One question, do you allow to fly your drone? I am thinking about to bring my Mavic Mini in my February trip to there. Thank you for your GREAT job again.
Sooo glad u asked. My drone got taken away at Belize airport because it was 250g. The rule keeps changing but the last rule stated it could be under 250g and u don't have to register it. Enjoy ur trip. It is paradise.

I know mexico has been having a seaweed issue. I noticed in some shots there were practically no seaweed and in others there seemed to be a decent amount. How were the beaches while you were there ?
Hi Steven! The hotel did a phenomenal job w the clean up. Seaweed on the beaches are a hit or miss. Majority of them do have seaweed TBH. Puerto Morelos had a little but not too crazy
Great review! Helped tip the scale for us to book this resort. My only real reservation (pun intended) is the wait time for the restaurants. I've been to several 5 star all-inclusive resorts in mexico and wait times were very short. Furthermore there was always other second choice restaurants right near by that you could walk right in. Grab a quick appy and wait for your buzzer to ring. Some people have described doing similar with the sports bar at PH and others said it's too small and always packed. What are your thoughts?
nice pun! lol. I'm not exactly sure but I THINK the star class option may get you in to some of those restaurants sooner. Or, you could do what I did and carry about 4 buzzers with you at one time and go to the one that buzzes first. That sports bar was packed and definitely not a place to eat a chill meal, but it was great pass time for sure. There was always room at the buffet (Food Emporium) - that one never really had a wait time. Have an amazing time! Oh, and thank you for watching 😊🙏🏽

Honestly didn't. The hotel beach was incredible, we didn't feel the need. We did drive down to Puerto Morelos though which had an epic beach too. Have fun!
The wrist band is different and I believe they do check for it. My understanding is that you can eat at restaurants and walk around that eing but can't use the facilities. Maybe there's an option you could pay a little more and get to use the facilities? Worth checking in w them 🙂
@@JourneyingWithTab Yes, we're going there soon and the Star package upgrade allows for reservations. Thats what we're getting, the Star upgrade. You get your own concierge and they book the restaurants and get you drinks etc.

Yes cancun was not an issue. I showed up early in the morning and sat on the cabana. It wasn't busy and so the staff let me use it for free.

To my surprise, yes! The DJ Played a few tracks
@Silvia Hoard not entirely sure but I recall seeing a DJ on Friday and Saturday. There were other live performances the other nights.
You weren’t able to reserve any restaurants at all?
Nope! I believe star class upgrade may have that option but I'm not so sure. I had up to 3 pagers at one point for different restaurants lol
