I think the bathroom is going to be perfect once the wall papyrus is up. (oops, my autocorrect is crazy lately! It puts in unintelligent words, but this time it put in a word that works.)
I love your home and as you fix, replace, repair, up-cycle or restore your home to make it even better. I feel like you home is the House That Keeps on Giving because every outbuilding, attic, cellar and even the garden gives to you something to work with. Both of you have wonderful creative minds and hands in which make these items come to fruition.
Many times I have wished that I lived near so I could visit, but I guess I’ll have to settle for Utube. Thanks again, for inviting us into your home!

Hi Rols & Suzie, the video was most pleasant. The cupboard door turned out smashing, it looks very smart. Every project takes time, it is worth doing a good job. Like us all, a big gust of wind ripped off the barge boards on the side of the roof, so we will have to attend to that as well. It is nice to know all whom own homes, there is always something to fix, update or paint. The rich gold colour is better than the lighter bling shade. Enjoy your projects it is coming along very nicely. Thank you for sharing and showing many blessings, kind regards. E

As to the tree stump...I found on my 2nd treatment I used the extra strength vinegar and baking soda then put a plastic bag over it so the rain didn't dilute the treatment worked faster.....good luck..love you guys

Thank you for watching. The orchard is fine thank you, we had one or two fruits but we only planted the trees 18 months ago so we didn't expect much this year. We had to water them regularly through the drought but they all survived. Have a lovely week, Suzie and Rols

The gold compliments the blue perfectly. I'm so in love with wallpaper for the bathroom! I noticed the heart shaped wreath, I love it. Barn two is a great space for your workshop and looks like it has some treasures in it too!

When painting a door inside edge of all panels first then the panel itself, next left to right paint across the top then the middle and the bottom, next do both sides and remember to paint the edges. Im a decorator!

The truth is everything you do when you restore is fiddly. 😊 There are big jobs but most are little bits of this and that. The room is coming along.

Starting to come together nicely! My Dad use to plant parsnips and said to keep them in the ground until after a frost. He always harvested the last ones for Christmas dinner. I always remember them being so sweet. We lived in Nova Scotia so our weather was so much cooler than yours!

I think the cupboard in the barn with a screen is called a pie safe here in the states. Just a suggestion: a light ring might help with brightening up the videos. Very reasonable cost too. So happy to see Suzie doing well.

when decorating remove wall paper, prep and prepare ceiling paint ceiling, prep walls, prep woodwork, under coat wood work paint walls if papering walls gloss woodwork first then wall paper. this is quicker I could have done that bathroom in a week.

I am puzzled as to why you are doing finishing jobs, before you have prepared the rest of the room for repapering etc. When you do prep you may spoil the work you have done. Nonetheless it’s looking nice.🤨
