I just wrapped my first handle with the help of your video. I cannot believe how amazing it came out by simply following your explanation. Amazing tutorial! I'm now addicted to paracord knotting. Thank you!
Yesssssss.....I finally understand pineapple knots. But the significant thing is that I can now indentify pairs and tie the knot w/o a run list. Progress indeed......Thanks Mark. P.S. Too big for my flashlight but I’ll find something else to decorate.
MARK----again an excellent video and craftsmanship---you are very clear and detailed in your vids---can I fly you to Atlanta ga so you make me one in person LOL I am not smart enough to do these---take care
Thank you for your kind comment! I am sure you are able to do it, it just takes patience. When I started out I never thought I'd be able to tie a turk's head in my life :). Mark
I have a question Mark that has baffled me forever... How does one determine how large to make the base knot so it fits the object perfectly... So that it's not too short nor that it's not too long... I always had to rely upon trial n error... Which means I have to start over sometimes 3 or 4 times... And if you expand it to a 6 bight it's too long... Can you explain that process of determining how long to make the base knot... Thank you, Mark Kenn
Hey Kenn! I don't use any metric, I just go by feeling. This is as you note does mean I have to redo a knot sometimes. The advanced grid maker does have a neat feature that allows you to calculate the width and length of the project which may be helpful. I really should cover the math aspect of designing turk's heads. Mark

Congratulations for getting it done!
Keep up the great work Mark. I love your work. You are a fabulous weaver.

Is removing the "guts" of the cord required? Also, how do I lengthen this knot? Say, for a hiking stick grip.
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
Wow wonderfull. Where you buy paracord?
He shows how to tighten at the end. Tightening a turks head requires time and patience.
