Words cannot describe how much I love this deck. I got my copy yesterday and I've hardly put it down. The card stock and slightly smaller size of the cards are perfect for smaller hands and it just shuffles like a dream. The art is amazing. I love every card -- The Devil card is so interesting to me. The Devil is rendered with such emotion, it makes me feel as though he/she is trapped too -- very multilayered. I have to work more with the cards that depict a dragon and tap into that energy. What an incredibly beautiful deck, full of emotion.

The imagery is incredible. The draughtsman is indeed an exquisite talent. I especially liked the reference to a famous picture in Judgement.

The death card is interesting. I think the 'sun' pictured might be a nod to Japan, and the setting of the card, Aokigahara forest near Mount Fuji. It is known for its association with death/suicide.. That was the first impression I got from the image. Setting that aside, the deck is breathtaking.. I love how the humble pen can be used to create something so intricate and detailed.

Ay up Simon, What a stunning deck, the judgement card reminded me of a scene from Pompeii very dramatic and chaotic, and that fool is just adorable, what a talent to be able to create these beautiful images with ballpoint pens, will be getting this deck for sure, thanks for the walkthrough, my bank balance thinks different, haha 😊

It's an amazing deck. I find it remarkable that at first I thought, oh, very nice, but do not need in my collection, nothing special. But then with the Minor Arcana the special thing about the deck came out! This is one of those decks where I find the minors more interesting than the majors. Thank you for sharing with us. Since the shipping costs to Germany are so exorbitantly high, I can hardly afford a deck outside of the Massmarket ones. So this is the only way I can look at all these unique works of art.

Just got my gold visconti sforza deck. Its not as breathtaking as people make out but its nice. The sola busca is the best deck I have for historical research as its a pagan cabinate of curiosities. Pual Adam Smith has an amazing book on the deck with scarlet imprint. It's a bit pricey for a tarot book but it's not your normal book(the game of saturn). So much info on the deck and it's origins! I can't believe I thought the visconti would take its place in my heart.

Simon, great walk through, loved this deck , artwork is superb but I didn’t like the dragons at all, the way they were depicted spoilt the few cards they were featured on, especially the hierophant, thought they actually were completely unnecessary😢I’m being a bit harsh but it spoilt this otherwise wonderful deck for me.🤦‍♂️thanks again for the walkthrough. Very beautiful deck. Love how the 5 of Pents shows an opulent, overwhelming church window with the small, poor people below--shows where our society's money goes! Pretty purples and rose colors and the title fonts are larger enough to read easily. Thanks for bringing it to our collective attention!
