I ve been saying this for a long time but costume national "I" is a 10/10 clone of layton but with facets of exclusif as it has a slight leather note. Great performance and was created by a master perfumer.

Now, to the matter on hand. Each one of us has different sensibility to different notes, to the point of some people getting nausea (me from Sauvage, for example) or allergy so keep in mind these are MY experiences (your mileage may vary):
Rasasi Egra is actually a lot closer to GIT than Tres Nuit (of which I've gone through a bottle). I'd recommend you to get your nose on Egra. Just applied side by side with GIT (sample) and I can't sense any significant difference (maybe GIT is a bit soapier). It also has better performance than GIT, IMO. I can't imagine someone telling them apart, even if they smell up close and went through entire bottles of GIT in their life.
To me, Turathi Blue=Rue Broca Theoreme smell very similar to Tygar. Haven't tested other clones (particularly Black Panther).
Sillage is VERY metallic to me. Side by side, underneath that (unbearable) metallicness there is definitely that SMW DNA. First few times I've sampled it, I didn't notice that note, but once I got a full bottle, damn...it overpowers everything else. If only they toned it down...
Maison Alhambra The Tux smells very, very close to Tuxedo to me. When I tried side by side, I couldn't tell them apart, but I don't have a lot of experience with either, so...
Detour Noir smells very, very close to Layton, to me.
100% agreed on the Supremacy Not only Intense. Very much in the Hacivat ballpark. Not my cup of tea, with either.
Bonus:
Club de Nuit PP/LE have a very good (and close to Aventus) drydown. The opening is still the CDNIM garbage, tho.
Armaf Craze is very similar to Pegasus. I can't tell them apart, but have very little experience with either.
Oud for Glory is very similar to Oud for Greatness. I can't tell them apart, but don't like either, tho so don't have experience with them.
Maison Alhambra Hercules is also quite similar to Herod. It's slightly sweeter(to my nose), but in the same ballpark, that tobacco note is spot on, IMO.
Freshies might be blind buy worthy, but, ultimately, I advice against blind buys in general. I'd rather get samples/decants, even if you spend more. Even if a clone is spot on, you might ultimately hate the original scent. Maybe sample the original, then see if the clone is good enough (or amazing?)

I am really happy with Asad, used as my office wear. I tend to find Moustache edp a nice smooth scent along with detour noir i use as my daily wear. Just picked up 9pm and held back for so long as ultra male is supposed to be party banger which is not my style, agree this has much better wearability

I blind bought club de nuit iconic thinking it would smell like bleu de Chanel but it really didn't do it for me. i have been using it rarely until today i spayed it on my arm a couple times, i agree the opening is pretty harsh but when this stuff dries down it is so good, i can barely tell the difference between the two now. And not to mention the performance on iconic is great, i sprayed it on roughly 12 hours ago and i can still smell it on my arm. I find it interesting how the scent has changed over the past few months i've owned it but it is certainly not a problem for me, 10/10 clone in my opinion
Paris Corner Nouf. It’s a clone of Kajal Lamar with the white floral jasmine dialed back and increased note of oak moss. It smells amazing and performs incredibly. I layer it with Aventus clones to approximate Hacivat and it comes pretty close.

Lattafa badee al oud is a top notch clone, along with khamrah both have their own twists to be stand alone frags, both cheap enough to really wear the heck out of it. Am trying Jean Lowe Ombre right this moment, ok on 1st sprays
I heard the best clone of TF Tobacco Vanille is Pendora Charuto Tobacco Vanille. Many even say it's better than the original. I wonder what your opinion on this is.

I have tres nuit, I tried green Irish tweed for the first time in the airport last week… smells exactly the same
Explorer, Afnan Modest Une (Sauvage EDT clone), CDN Iconic, Dylan Blue or Lattafa Fakhar. What's better in terms of compliments?
I own Green Irish Tweed, Tres Nuit, and Cool Water. My Green Irish Tweed and Tres Nuit are near identical. Cool Water is similar to them, but definitely different. That's just my experience.
It's a shame Milestone wasn't on this list. It gets extremely close to Millesime Imperial. I own an 11N02 and 15R01 Millesime Imperial. Milestone gets very very close. It is a bit more harsh and astringent when it comes to the sea-salt note and the melon note is lacking but it overall it smells very close however a tad more on the feminine side
Hi man a good dupe of green Irish twist is Al haramain L adventure knight in my personal opinion.and from tuxedo for me the closer and best is from Fragance world call suits.
Club de nuit iconic is beast performance for me! I get 10 hrs easy and tons of projection
All club de nuit have at least 10-12 hours performance I don't get how he's only getting 5-6 hours.
I always have bad experience with clones until I tried Armaf 9PM which surprised me with how it is similar to JPG ultramale. Very high quality at reasonable price and strongly recommended

Would love to know where you are getting bleu de chanel for roughly the same price as iconic.
Regarding CDNIM Iconic, it can normally be had for around $50-60 for 105ml, whereas the OG is at least $150 for 100ml, so it’s more than double the price. Also, I’d say that the harsh opening is just due to lack of maceration, as after I got my bottle and sprayed it a few times to introduce oxygen, it was much better after it sat for a month or two. Iconic all the way.

Waiting for my bottle of iconic. I got it for $34, which is near 1/4 the price. I wish he didn't use price as a factor when scoring. But I also know he loves BDC and wouldn't give it a great score. Plus I always heard it was more a mix if BDC and Elysium.

Hey Omar, I think the best replacement to Green Irish is the L`Aventure Knight "blue cap" by AL Haramain it`s 7 out of 10. The performance is on average 4-5 hours and for Blvgari Tygar is Al Qiam Silver by Lattafa , this one is 9 out of 10 with fantastic performance. I don't agree with you regarding Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense, the performance from opening to dray Dowen is amazing with no cheap smell to me, and yes, it's a Nishani Hacivat. I gave this one 9 out of 10.

It's a risk, some batches are crap. I purchased this fragrance last year in May and the longevity was like 4-5 hours. I made another purchase this year and it's beast mode!!! 8+ hours.

@@SchoolofScent Def, I had detour noir but I gave it away because it was a bit animalistic and musk heavy which bleu exclusif isn't. My bottle of bleu exclusif ran out and I bought layton for cheap but if I were broke again I'd happily buy amber oud bleu exclusif.

I will never forgive you for what you said about Tres Nuit. What did you expect for $20? GIT on my skin is like rotten cabbage, bit the clone Tres Nuit comes off a bit fresher, sweeter and more mass appealing. I get tons of complements and close fly bys.
TreNuit has a cardboard box/cheap leather type smell to it imo which makes it smell a bit cheap
I’m curious as to how accurate Rasasi’s La Yuqawam is to Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather. Some say it’s almost 100% accurate

Not sure what Bottle/Batch you have but La Yuquwam is thoroughly and consistently reputed for its beast performance (longevity and sillage) and I find it to be more wearable than Tuscan Leather, although Tuscan Leather does have a feel more of having more depth from an artistic standpoint imho

3:00 You hit on the head what almost every review of CDN Sillage reviews skipped over. It is a bad clone because it fails to replicate the most important defining traits of C:SMW, but it is a good fragrance on its own merits. I can't agree with your verdict though. If you dont answer the question on the test sheet, it doesnt matter how smart your answer was, you still fail.
I too thought C:SMW had bad performance, until I noticed that I go noseblind from that scent super fast. I sprayed not as much one day but ended up with two sprays on my neck and collar and noticed that even after 5+ hours I caught strong pleasant whiffs of the tea freshness. Fuck the citrus gang, take a giant L, cool metallic bitterness of tea all the way for summer heat!

That club de nuit smells nothing like the creed version, it's too musky and heavy. The dry down smells cheap and nothing like silver mountain water. only cologne that I find is somewhat similar is from cremo, silver water & birch. I really hate that club de nuit version.
Club de nuit Sillage literally smells like ink, and I hate it. If Silver Mountain Water smells the same, then I am disappointed because I tried Aventus and Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition Parfum, and in my opinion, Aventus smelled A LOT better. I am not recommending buying anyone clone fragrances if you dont know how they smell...

Here is an update for those that are interested. Khamrah has been dethroned by Dua’s Angelic Elixir. By far thee best Angel Share clone. People have actually asked me if I was wearing Angel Share.

People need to remember to take everything the hearwith the grain of salt, If everybody's nose and skin type were the same we would only need one reviewer but thats not how it is and every reviewer will come out with something different on opinions....
At $177 Canadian for the Bleu de Chanel vs $63 Canadian for the Iconic…not exactly sure how you can say that they’re even remotely close as far as price.

Prices vary a ton based on region I guess. In the UK I'm currently seeing around £50 to £65 for the 50ml versions in retailers. Iconic is quite similarly priced to BDC here but for the 100ml. I haven't smelled Iconic myself so I can't really say if it's worth going for or not over BDC.
Do have to mention that the EDT seems to be less expensive than the Parfum and EDP variants

If you like amber fougeres Pasha de Cartier Parfum is a way better alternative ( not a clone but same function)
The base notes are similar with Sandalwood, Amber and Patchouli but it is less spicy with a little sweetness with Tonka beans, benzoin and a little booziness with liquor.
The spiciness of Sauvage Elixir due to the cinnamon and the nutmeg is too abrasive to my nose and the blend sithe the amber notes and patchouli is not that great.
On the other side the Cartier is well blended, more classier and versatile and the performance is great (8 to 9 hours with 3 sprays) and less expensive.

Yes I agree. Too strong and synthetic in opening. And the dry down is too sweet. Don't know all the hype around it but it gives such a headache and uneasiness

I highly disagree about Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense. I think it's not only a great clone of Aventus but also very similar to Hacivat and performs extremely well and also for very long on my skin
Iconic has bad projection, only strong first 2 hours,after....skin scent.
