I walked into the sauna and there was some guy there who smelled like he was wearing 12 sprays of Sauvage Elixir. I myself, wearing 14 sprays of Tobacco Vanille, sat across from him while maintaining direct eye contact. He let out a haughty groan, I leaned back, crossed my arms, our stares intensified and thus began the battle of dominance.
Ya I wouldn’t say never but he for sure is always at the positive side of all the colognes he has. And honestly that’s not really a bad thing, I love his chanel
I've been an R.R. subscriber since he first started his channel. He's very interactive with his followers and his videos are entertaining. He's great! So are you Omar!
What I love about rotten rebel, the guy ALWAYS ALWAYS respond to my reaction to his videos... I appreciate and respect his thoughts and opinions... Of his 10-10 I only have the Tom Ford ombre leather... My #1 fragrance...
Rotten rebel and Sarah Solomon are great reviewers, a combination of these reviewers as well as this channel have been a great helping me understand fragrances
I’ve been watching Rotten Rebel for awhile now. I found him from watching Sandra Solomon. I love their videos together. Rotten Rebel has good takes and points when reviewing fragrances. I don’t agree with all of his 10/10 fragrances but none of them were bad scents. They’re all good solid fragrances. I have a couple on my collection.
I used to like rotten rebel and Sarah's reviews until I realized that they don't bring anything new to the table. Every review or count down list is made up of the same handful of fragrances, they only review big company stuff, and are never critical of anything. They are a bit cringe at times in my opinion. At this point, I need a mix of the big name stuff, but also the other houses that don't get much love on you tube. I think Omar and Justin Copeland do a good job a balancing the two.
Justin Copeland can be very tiresome. He is constantly having a conversation with the audience that I don't really think exists much with his audience, lecturing about compliments and basic bros. It would be fine if it was one video but not all the time. I've been subscribed to all of these content creators and I am no longer subscribed to any of them. None of them achieve what I am looking for in a fragrance creator. I enjoy those who just come make videos about fragrances they enjoy and want to have a conversation about it for example Scent land, Lanier Smith, and persolaise. Solid reviews from Robes08 , scents of South Jersey, Glam finds, and Joy Amin. Great creative work like George as the Fragrance apprentice is always appreciated. Oh and a fun Guy like Fatboy is great as well. All the Channels that are well pumping out lists and hyping new fragrances are boring and pretty much ruin the community for me. Take care anyone reads this and keep smelling great.
Recently brought Ombré leather. The Best Buy so far. Spring is round the corner and I am already in love with notes. Perfect blend of little and leather
I love TF Ombré Leather!!! But the scent just doesn’t match my age. So when I turn 34, I’m definitely gonna buy it. I just need to wait 9 more years lol
I love his videos. Great production value and he is a very good presenter. He always states his opinions as opinions. I think he deserves 10x the subscribers he has. I also appreciate him interacting with his subscribers. Not all current fragrance RUclipsrs do that… Some fragrance RUclipsrs don’t interact at all, some leave a ♥️ after a comment, Some do a ♥️ and a personal comment. RR does that. :)
Without a doubt if any up and comer deserves to have the spotlight shone on them it is Senthil fragrance. He’s literally raising the bar for what fragrance videos can be.
Thank you for being the only fragrance reviewer who calls it exactly like it is when it comes to Dior Sauvage Elixir. Can understand why people enjoy it very much, but it is way too intense, I can barely put on one spray without choking out everyone within 10 feet. Aside from that it is fantastic.
The problem is that liquorice note. It's sickeningly sweet and ruins the whole fragrance for me. Elixir is basically a sweetened up version of Drakkar Noir and Drakkar smells fine the way it is. Adding BR540 style cotton candy sweetness to that fragrance profile just doesn't work. Ends up being a cloying mess with anything more than one spray and god forbid someone wear it out in the heat. I would gag.
@@winnienguyen4420 I liked the scent enough but yes, the liquorice was just too strong. I now have Lattafa Asad and really love it…so much more wearable and less intense
@@James-xm3ex I'm happy to have it but it's definitely a special occasion type scent for me so I've maybe worn it 3 times this year, it's phenomenal though

I agree it has a rough opening but once you get past that it's a pretty damn sexy fragrance on the right guy and fat more appealing than Elixir by far. Red Tobacco to me is like a more mass appealing version of TF Tobacco Oud which I also actually liked on the right man dressed for the occasion. On the other hand Elixir's liquorice note makes me nauseous. It's just a sweetened up Drakkar Noir and Drakkar Noir was not meant to be sweet in the first place. You are better off just layering a basic Sauvage EDT EDP or Parfum with some Drakkar Noir and will get a non sweet version of elixir that doesn't turn the stomach. I blame the decision to make Elixir overly sweet on the popularity of BR540 which honestly isn't attractive on a man at all to me, but on a woman it's heavenly.
I've got quite a range of fragrances for cold and warm weather, and i feel sauvage elixir can be pulled off in warmer weather, but worn lightly. I usually spray twice on skin or once on clothing in summer, its that beasty. Maybe a top up one spray after several hours. Three sprays or more and I'm suffocating anyone within a 3m radius. Winter you can prob go 4 sprays max. A touch of subtlety is nice
You said Ombre Leather is a 9/10 and gave your reason why, but what's your example of a 10/10 leather fragrance? I'm curious because I have Ombre Leather as a 10/10 fragrance just like RR - so I wanna know what would outdo it. Also, I'm a fan and already subbed to RR - I also enjoy his style and believe he is underrated as well. It seems we all tend to agree on the same things especially going for EDP versions on most of the lines. Le Male Le Parfum is also a 10/10 for me as well
I love Sauvage Elixir, it is the most I have spent on a fragrance but I figured it is so strong that I will wear less and the bottle will last me years. But you are right on the headache from it if it is over done.
I used to watch Rebel a ton but he’s become a little too dramatic for me. I’ll take honesty over drama all day hence why I watch you and Aaron Terence Hughes mostly now. My 10/10 are Naxos, Hard Candy and interlude man
I think Interlude Man or Naxos can be a downright devastatingly sexy fragrance when worn by the right guy in the right outfit. It isn't a basic bro or gym douche type of fragrance whatsoever. It is a refined, exotic, and very expensive smelling incense, tobacco, or Oud based middle eastern style fragrance meant for a suave, jet set looking guy in a tailored Italian suit, Rolex, and Ferragamos driving a Lamborghini with the top down along the beach in Malibu at night. Likely a European male model or gigolo type. Other fragrances I find fit that same vibe would be Amouage Beach Hut Man and Reflection 45, Chanel Egoiste, YSL Opium Pour Homme, Tom Ford Tobacco Oud, Penhaligon's Sohan or my newest dreamy favorite at the moment on my husband the gorgeous Mancera Red Tobacco. Absolutely to die for. These are all high end designer or niche fragrances based around oriental notes of Incense, Oud, and tobacco. Polarizing for your basic man who likely refers to them as smelling like an old man or even like animal urine or feces, but that goes to show just how uncultured these types of guys are. They most likely are going to grab Sauvage or some other mainstream blue fragrance that smells like shower gel or the highschool locker room. BORING!!!! The same type of guys are drinking beer and whiskey while the sexy, suave ones are drinking Champagne cocktails and Sidecars made with the best French Cognac. Smelling a wiff of Interlude Man, Tobacco Oud, or Red Tobacco on the right guy with the right look is like dying and going to heaven for me. I wish more women would want that for themselves instead of the douchey gym bro reaking of Sauvage while getting drunk in a trashy local bar in any town USA covered in trashy tattoos and piercings and listening to the latest mumble rap while contemplating on how much money they are going to have to spend to get some random chick drunk enough to go home with them.
@@winnienguyen4420"Basic" bro fragrances like BDC EDP, Percival, Allure Homme Sport and Profondo are timeless and incredible fragrances. I never smell them on anyone because most men aren't wearing fragrance. I've had so many compliments with those.
Montabaco line is absolutely stunning gorgeous and timeless. @rottenrebel has fantastic taste and a bit of something for everyone. And in regards to Ormond Jayne Montabaco it's a masterpiece no way to disagree and every flanker is amazing Im on the hunt for Cuba been dying to find it
Killian's Angle Share is top of my wishlist. I run a whiskey bar (and similar first name I guess) So I'll celebrate a milestone with that fragrance at some point in the near future.
i know its mentioned to death but amouage interlude black iris. the black beast!! from a performance standpoint i think its virtually alone. it might not be for everyone but i always get comments about it.
Would love if you could do the entire Histoires de parfums line or, at least, some of them, because there arent tooo many videos about them from a fragrance genius
Yeah i don't get it too It's nice but not a ten on my current collection... I've got Parfum de Marly Herod that's a 10, Chanel Allure Edition blanche 10, Yves saint Laurent la nuit de L'homme 10 and Guerlain-L'Homme Ideal edp definitely 10
I've been subbed to Rotten Rebel and his friend Sandra Solomon who also has a fragrance channel..they collab a lot and can get pretty "blue" down to Earth
Just got the Allure Homme sport eau extreme 2 weeks ago after trying like 10 other fragrances inna douglas, the prada l'homme and the allure homme sport were my favorites of all i tried immediately bought it. The only thing is the durability, for me its like 4, 5 hours, 6 hours maybe if i overspray. The prada l'homme and the armani SWY absolutely are on the way to me rn 🙏 pasha de cartier was also insanely good i think it was the darker version the parfum..
Everyone here needs to watch George the fragrance apprentice. His videos are amazing. The most recent ones are borderline fragrance documentaries. Best fragrance channel on RUclips. Period.
Savauge Elixir is the most overhyped fragrance i have ever smelled. I had it for a few weeks and its not i scent i was into. I actually almost came to hate it. Sold it right away and never regretted it
Yeah it smells like Drakkar Noir but with a bunch of sweet notes added to it like liquorice, cinnamon, and some other Christmas time type spices I can't remember off the top of my head. But in my opinion Drakkar Noir smells fine as is, not with added sweetness. Elixir ends up smelling almost like an Indian curry of some type and while that smell is appealing for eating it certainly isn't sexy or romantic in any sense. Not to mention elixir is possibly the most powerful fragrance on the market save for maybe a few middle eastern style Oud tobacco, or incense based Oriental fragrances from Amouage like Interlude Man 45 or Reflection 45, TF Tobacco Vanille or Tobacco Oud, Mancera Red Tobacco, and Initio's atomic bomb of a fragrance Oud for Greatness. Any one of which I actually find more tolerable than Elixir by a long shot. Those fragrances will last months in your closet after just a couple of sprays on a jacket. Honestly just wear Drakkar Noir layered with some regular Sauvage EDT, EDP, or Parfum if you want a more pleasant smelling and non sickly sweet version of Dior Sauvage Elixir that will be far more mass appealing. Or go for Spice bomb extreme which basically has a similar vibe to Elixir with all the Christmas spices and what not, only it actually smells divine and not overly sweet whatsoever. That fragrance is the epitome of a spicy fragrance done right, mainly because the gorgeous tobacco note is the anchor as opposed to liquorice like Elixir. But then again I've never found any fragrance with a heavy liquorice note in it attractive.
I’ve just got my hands back on Jean Pierre Gaultier 2. It had been discontinued for many years but it is now available once again only off their official website. So happy my old time favourite is back!!
Noob frag head. 7 purchases in. Omar I must say you have quickly risen to the top of my favs with your no nonsense approach. You also happen to lean in a similar direction to my own tastes which really helps when I'm on the fence. Two I recently have been wearing for fall and loving are Alhambra's The Tux and Givenchy gentleman Boisee. I'm running with these until the cold harsh swedish winter when spice bomb extreme will make a dramatic entrance. Perhaps it's time for angels share as well :)
Is Percival worth the price as a year round versatile scent since Montblanc Legend EDP and EDT exist ? i had Mont blanc Legend EDP i really love the scent but it does not last on my skin (4-5hours with a 2022 batch) and im thinking of upgrading to Percival or Gentle Fluidity Silver (not the same type of scent but same function / year round versatile scent)
Love your channel mate, I am 17 and just bought Layton for everyday use. But I think i want something just a bit more masculine smelling for school, do you have reccomendations?
I really like His channel, I'm with ya on Sauvage Elixir. It's a nice fragrance but I personally didn't get the hype. I do wear it from time to time but it's not a masterpiece. My 10/10 fragrances are Terre D'Hermès Parfum, L'homme Ideal L'intense, Essential Parfums Bois Imperial, Rogue Perfumery Mousse Illuminee, Argos Fragrances Triumph of Bacchus, Jazz Club to name a few
My 10/10 are: Azzaro The Most Wanted Mancera Sicily JPG Le Male Elixir Rasasi Hawas Juliette Has A Gun Pear Inc. Montale Intense Cafe Kajal Almaz Bond No. 9 Greenwich Village Dior Homme Eau Gisada Ambassador
In my humble opinion Valentino Uomo Intense is way more modern and has a richness gourmand touch that blends perfectly. DHI which I own feels more dated to me and not as masculine as VUI ✌🏻
What eau de toilette or eau de parfum would you guys recomend for a 25 year old to use on a daily basis (autumm, winter and or spring) and for a international academic conference? (p.s. i have only ever used TERRE D'HERMES Eau De Toilette)
Over-spraying is imo very subjective. If you are in a place where your environment is awash with scents say a bazaar, wearing a few sprays means your 1-2 sprays are drown out.
Hi Bro... I would like to hear about Gisada uomo... No proper review found on the internet except curly's. Ordered both ambassador for men and uomo.. Could you please comment on uomo. Don't wanna waste money if it doesn't perform.

@@winnienguyen4420 I love your comments. Definitely not a basic ass western mindset. I love it.
Layton, Cedrat Boise, Moustache edp, Light Blue Italian Love, Desir Toxic - 10/10s
I love how he also bring Sandra Solomon along often so we can hear a women's opinions on what they like to smell on a man
Valentino UOMO Intense is the best
Go Rebel and go Sweden!! A fellow Swede right here, subscribed to both channels of course 😎⭐️ !
Pretty much watch you, Rotten Rebel, and Gentscents. Great content, thanks
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
I’m already subscribed to Rotten Rebel, and a good one is the one and the only Sandra Solomon. Honest and Good reviews.
Rotten Rebel is a great reviewer and person...I love when he duo with the gorgeous Tigress Miss Solomon
Omar the type of guy to School other fragrance youtubers. Class is in session 💯🔥
Would love if you could do the entire Histoires de parfums line or, at least, some of them, because there arent tooo many videos about them from a fragrance genius
Tom Ford Ombré Leather Parfum for me is a 10/10. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum is really good, but not quite a 10. I am wearing it now.
Yeah i don't get it too
It's nice but not a ten on my current collection...
6:20 I dont get headaches from wear sauvauge elixir and I wear it during the middle of summers bc Im built different. 💪
Nishane Ani 10/10 for me!
I tried DHI and Valentino. Didn't like DHI too much make-up type for me but Valentino I loved it
My 10/10 Fragrances in my collection :
• Pasha de Cartier Parfum *
• Sartorial by Penhalighons *
• Colonia Essenza Acqua Di Parma *
• Bois Impérial by Essential Parfum *
• Prada L'Homme Intense *
• Xerjoff Naxos *
• Bleu de Chanel Parfum *
• Allure Homme Édition Blanche *
• Brioni EDP Intense *
• Dior Homme Intense*
Club de unit men intense or club de nuit iconic. What do you suggest is the best
Everyone here needs to watch George the fragrance apprentice. His videos are amazing. The most recent ones are borderline fragrance documentaries. Best fragrance channel on RUclips. Period.
I pretty much agree with the list but would take Dior Homme Parfum over DHI and would add Aventus, GIT and Bleu de Chanel Parfum.
Fantaaaastic. Absolutely gorgeeeous. Love his channel tho, esp the vids with sandra.
I like hearing your insights as always, great video!
Btw, what kind of watch are you wearing?
I’ve just got my hands back on Jean Pierre Gaultier 2. It had been discontinued for many years but it is now available once again only off their official website. So happy my old time favourite is back!!
Guerlain L'homme Ideal Extreme is a perfect 10
Noob frag head. 7 purchases in. Omar I must say you have quickly risen to the top of my favs with your no nonsense approach. You also happen to lean in a similar direction to my own tastes which really helps when I'm on the fence. Two I recently have been wearing for fall and loving are Alhambra's The Tux and Givenchy gentleman Boisee. I'm running with these until the cold harsh swedish winter when spice bomb extreme will make a dramatic entrance. Perhaps it's time for angels share as well :)
Thank you Shawn, great to have you here 😊
Is Percival worth the price as a year round versatile scent since Montblanc Legend EDP and EDT exist ? i had Mont blanc Legend EDP i really love the scent but it does not last on my skin (4-5hours with a 2022 batch) and im thinking of upgrading to Percival or Gentle Fluidity Silver (not the same type of scent but same function / year round versatile scent)
I love Percival. I keep less than 10 fragrances only and it is one of them. The dry down is incredible.
@@travisn346 👍
Love your channel mate, I am 17 and just bought Layton for everyday use. But I think i want something just a bit more masculine smelling for school, do you have reccomendations?
Thanks dude, check out 212 Men NYC 🙂 (the original)
@@SchoolOfScent Thank you😀 i am guessing this works well for winter time too?
Is La Male la Parfum an EDP? or is that another version / flanker?
I really like His channel, I'm with ya on Sauvage Elixir. It's a nice fragrance but I personally didn't get the hype. I do wear it from time to time but it's not a masterpiece. My 10/10 fragrances are Terre D'Hermès Parfum, L'homme Ideal L'intense, Essential Parfums Bois Imperial, Rogue Perfumery Mousse Illuminee, Argos Fragrances Triumph of Bacchus, Jazz Club to name a few
I love Chanel eau extreme but the performance is not 8+ hours so how it could be 10/10 in ur book
btw which brand of shirt are you wearing?
For me, Prada Amber. The soft lavender over Prada's signature powder makes it addictive.
I thought I’d love it, but sampled it and it’s the opposite. Kinda repulsed by Prada Amber for some reason. It’s too bad
if ur going from a designer to club de nuit limited edition don't it is good but... its soo sufficating its soo strong
Rotten Rebel has some good content. He's in my top 3.
My 10/10 are:
Azzaro The Most Wanted
Mancera Sicily
JPG Le Male Elixir
Rasasi Hawas
Juliette Has A Gun Pear Inc.
Montale Intense Cafe
Kajal Almaz
Bond No. 9 Greenwich Village
Dior Homme Eau
Gisada Ambassador
Hey Omar
Thoughts on initio absolute aphrodisiac 👀
In my humble opinion Valentino Uomo Intense is way more modern and has a richness gourmand touch that blends perfectly. DHI which I own feels more dated to me and not as masculine as VUI ✌🏻
He's video production is great 👍🏼
What do you think of Initio Psychedelic Love and Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac?
Montabaco Intensivo is a perfect 10/10!!
for me baccarat rouge, grand soir, jazz club and azzaro the most wanted
Why not creed silver mountain water?
What is the difference between the black and white label ombre leather?
They are different fragrances, the white label is the ‘Parfum’ which is a flanker of the original.
@@SchoolOfScent is that a bad thing?
WHITE label is unstoppable force
@@trumpameri1638 yeah thats the one i have i like it alot its also the only fragrance i have at the moment
Would u say that la male is better than the elixir?
What places are good to get colognes/perfume?
1. Macy's
2. fragrance stores in the mall
3. Others? without scams...
What eau de toilette or eau de parfum would you guys recomend for a 25 year old to use on a daily basis (autumm, winter and or spring) and for a international academic conference? (p.s. i have only ever used TERRE D'HERMES Eau De Toilette)
Aqua di Gio and it’s variants
Green Irish Tweed is my most professional scent, would be perfect for a conference
I think Uomo Intense is a softer, more mass pleasing version of Homme Intense. But Homme Intense is classier and superior.
Ive had jpg le male le parfum for about a week an ive been wearing it everyday I really like it
Over-spraying is imo very subjective. If you are in a place where your environment is awash with scents say a bazaar, wearing a few sprays means your 1-2 sprays are drown out.
I would replace allure homme extreme with edition blanche
Hi Bro... I would like to hear about Gisada uomo... No proper review found on the internet except curly's. Ordered both ambassador for men and uomo.. Could you please comment on uomo. Don't wanna waste money if it doesn't perform.
No Spicebomb Extreme?
I love your vids, Omar. You, ATH and Sam are the best internet sources for people interested in perfumery I know. Your entertaining vids' character is incomparable.
1:13 😂😂😂😂😂
I swear my friend got sauvage elixir and I put an it on my arm. It was so so strong. That I started to feel sick to my stomach. Headache, and I wanted to wash it off. I started asking myself if it’s that’s front and intense WHY would I want to use it lol. What occasion? And showering won’t take it out completely
