    Thanks to you and your videos I was able to get in my ZS EV when I took delivery on the Sunshine Coast , Queensland 2 weeks ago and set it up the way I like and connected the app instantly.
    I've had such a cruisey 2 weeks of ownership thanks again to you Jerry! 👏🙌

    Hi Jerry,
    I have just bought the subject car in Sydney. I found your videos on the car very useful and your explanations are concise and clear.
    Can you pls advise how can we set the E (economy) mode as default when we start the car for the first time? Whenever we start the car, it has N mode as default and I have to switch to E mode every single time I drive the car.
    Is there any way we can set this E mode as default i.e. we can start the car with E mode and change to N or S if/when required?

      Not possible. MG’s default setting is N mode.

    Can you have multiple cars on the one app?

      You can. Just click MG, swipe and then add another vehicle.

    Hey Jerry, love your vids. I was having a look here to see if you had already covered it. What is the process of getting your favourites onto the ismart app (1.0.4)? I have quite a few of them saved on the car (logged in with the same account), but I can't figure out how to sync it with my phone... it just keeps coming up with "There are no favourites saved" ...

    Jerry, is there any way to refresh the app. Looks like the app unable to detect my vehicle GPS. It worked 1 time but then not working…. Not sure why😅

      This only works on MG ZS EV range not on the petrol vehicles.

    Is it possible to get the 2022 Essence to do things like open sunroof or roll down a window using voice commands? I am told this can be done only in the Trophy Connect model in the UK, Not in any of the models sold in NZ or AU.

    Hey Jerry,so I've binded the car and got the app on,I plugged my zappi charger in and turned it to schedule charge and it come up failed on the phone,does the zappi need to be on a particular mode for it to work? There's eco+ eco & fast as options, anyone else know thanks in advance 👍

    Hi Jerry. I have an MG ZS EV that I bought in October. I love your videos. I am in Melbourne and have been looking into acquiring an MG ZS EV space saving space wheel kit. I believe they are available in the UK. Do you know anything about them and how I can acquire one?

      This is not available through MG. You have to find the parts online or from aftermarket company

      The phone setting needs to authorize the App to have access to location. Otherwise go to the dealer.

    Hi Jerry,
    I have had my MG ZS EV in NZ for 3 months. I am having problems with the iSmart App where it won't work. I get a message saying "The status checking is failed, please try again later". Also, I have an MG Charger at home. I set my charge time for 9pm to 12 midnight (The Contact Energy three free hours of power). I turn off the car, plug the charger in and the screen says scheduled charge. BUT! by 9pm it doesn't start charging. Then I have to turn the car on and off, unplug the charger, plug it in again and then it will start charging. Any ideas how to fix this? When I took it back to the dealer. They set it to charge in 5 mins and it started charging fine. But at home it might be several hours before the scheduled charge time and it never starts by itself :(

      Hi Sara, it is hard for me to fix this problem over internet unfortunately. It is the best to ask the dealer to check again.
