    Chris, the charging management function in the app is currently broken and has been for a while. It has been fixed in a later version already released in the UK, so I hope we will see it here, very soon.

    You can change the sound of the indicator by lower it’s volume within settings

    It really looks like MG is finenessing their EV. Good to see. Next, redesign the look of the front (grille) please!

    Hi Chris, I need help. I m a MG ZS EV 2024 user. I want to ask for help about auto fold door mirror. I have a tight carport between walls and I have to fold door mirror when I park on my carport. My car always unfold the door mirror and get stuck with the wall when the door is unlock. Are there anyway to turn off the auto fold door mirror. I have tried every way such as fold them before the door is locked, but the door mirror always remain unfolded when unlock again. Your help is much appreciate!

    I helped my sister and partner get an OG MG ZS EV, like you have Chris. Was there an option to update the older systems up to this?

    In the MG ZS EV, in the unfortunate event that the 12V battery were to die/run out of juice, is there an inbuilt feature for the 51KWH battery to jump start the 12V battery and get the motor engine running?. I know the Hyundai IONIQ Sedan Hybrid has this feature.Does the MG ZS EV have similar feature?. Amongst the 51KWH & the 12v battery on the MG ZS EV, who takes the responsibility of providing "Start" function to the EV?. Can u answer please?. Thanks.

      Unfortunately if the 12V is dead, the car can't even configure itself to take from the high voltage battery to bring it back to life. I don't have one on loan to me ATM so can't test this sorry. I'll try next time I have one on loan as I'd be curious about vehicle to load working without the 12V battery.

    I would love if someone can extract the Australian user manual so we can read it on a bigger computer screen

    Is V2L the same a V2H?

    • @chrisvanderstock
      @chrisvanderstock  2 года назад

      V2L is like a power point from/at the car for devices connected directly to it. V2H interfaces between your car, a box which handles home power distribution, and then your home. The only car that does vehicle to home is the Nissan Leaf, but not readily available in Australia.

    Very informative video. But your hand movements were very fast and I had to rewind certain sections several times to see exactly what you were tapping on. This is a RUclips video, so hand movements need to be slow. But very informative nonetheless. Thanks.
