7:38 plss dont take it the wrong way but I am SO glad this happened to you - more specifically that you showcased it. This is an issue I've ben having on and off across multiple phones (all iOS in my case), since i started playing again in late 2022. For me, this happens at the VERY END of the game and sometimes my mon will be stuck charging a final move that will just never come to land. If the PvP for this game wants to be taken seriously, then niantic needs to at least ensure that you win the games you've already won.
And then the fun thing is when I went to Pokeminers discord to complain about this (I do not play GBL often and this was in 2021 by the way), they banned me for complaining and blamed me for it "Skill issues" despite I literally gave them 6 to 7 videos and told them to watch them.
Happens on android as well. I don't experience it at the end of battles anymore (unless I'm in a party), but it has happened a couple times recently in the middle of games.

As bad as Fantasy Cup is, I feel like Fossil Cup has the potential to be worse. Poliwrath is likely going to be everywhere.

I had that happen to me once in the past couple days where the battle just completely stops and gives an auto loss, so frustrating that something as bad as that is occurring
I have got an instant loss like you had today as well and coinsidentally I was winning. The game decided it will lag permanently right after I used a charge attack. The game is in such a sorry state idk why they dont bother fixing it.

Niantic accidentally fixed the game so they intentionally broke it again
Been running Metal the whole fantasy cup and winning 4/5 pretty consistent. Running iron bash would be better but don’t have the elite.

No. You absolutely cannot buff Double Iron Bash on a Master League viable Pokémon. One of the only reasons why you can counter Melmetal in Master League is because Double Iron Bash is kinda bad. But if we make it stronger, it has to be slower. The pacing is too much otherwise.
How is it too much? Steel is really bad offensively outside of hitting fairies for super effective damage. Melmetal even with a super buffed iron bash would still get destroyed by most of ML. I’d say the buff is warranted given melmetal loses to almost every single meta relevant Pokémon (including the fairies it’s supposed to beat).
Just wait until ghold gets make it rain, my guess is it’ll be a super power clone but only drop attack
Even with a buffed DIB + Superpower it still hits a grand total of 2 top 20 mons super-effectively, gets stone walled by Palkia (very common,) gets turned into a broken toy or free energy by Landorus-T, Groudon, Solgaleo, Necro-DM, Ho-Oh, etc., etc, Lando-T can get Icy Wind on every steroid possible but this can't get a damage buff for an arguably worse Body Slam clone, on an arguably worse set?

@@MintyTea_N Sandsear Storm needs a nerf, I'm not arguing against that. Still, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. On Melmetal, DIB has absolutely toxic pacing. You mentioned Palkia. Did you know Melmetal gets to four DIB before Palkia reaches three Aqua Tail? Sim out some stuff. DIB makes things take forever right now and even losing matches are a lot closer than you'd think. More than that, everyone has access to enough resources to build Melmetal. Do you really want the whole ML to become a full on DIB spam fest? I'm fine with DIB getting better. But it can't be much stronger at 35 energy. I'd be fine if it were much stronger, but at 45 energy, like a Psystrike.
