- Can of Wormholes Part 4 - the full game is out! And that title is not an exaggeration, this game really just blew my mind over and over again, and despite jumping ahead to an area intended to be found later, there is still so much more mind-blowing stuff to come! Let's hope these puzzles don't destroy me in the meantime.

Tyler skipping ahead like halfway through the game and discovering all the mechanics at once is so funny
The Witness all over again
When you accidentally started the late game boss fight at lvl 1
@@evanchan293And you played all the games in the series so you're good enough to defeat him.
I don't even know if this is technically "skipping ahead" I'm playing the game myself and there are just 2 options to go with just the yellow and blue snake, so I think this amazing amount of new mechanics and discovery is actually the intended way to go :D which is mad props to the game dev. And it scares me to think what the endgame is if this keeps up.
Honestly a good puzzle game lets you learn various mechanics at your own pace and only combines them after it knows you know them.. like how in the Witness you learn basic stuff and only after you have a grasp does it start mixing areas mechanics (for most part)
I'm proud of Tyler for getting blown 70 times in 16 minutes 👍
"proud" 👍
"blown" 👍
That's 2.625 times in 36 seconds
so much endurance, what a hero

Ofc
I love how the literal first puzzle just added an entire extra dimension to it, looking forward to 5D worm action by the end of this
Why do you think that the level-worms fall into that shining hole?

I really like the detail that the insight is a simpler puzzle rather than a straight up hint.
Keeps the feeling of discovery for the player
This is my favourite way to solve hard math questions. Don’t give me the answer or even a hint! Give me an easier question that gives me the insight I need to solve the harder question.
When Tyler starts having trouble with the puzzles it’s clear I have no chance

@@KCzz15 ah no wonder, I mean hey it wasn't labelled
Yeah last episode Tyler basically did a speedrunner skip in the overworld
What can we say, it's Tyler 🤷🏽♂️
I struggle with stuff he does regularly, but I’m playing this game and with “Gain Insight” there’s been no puzzle so far that I couldn’t do (I did a few other worlds before the purple one to learn the mechanics at a gentler pace). The only hint I needed is that to learn a meta mechanic, I should use “Gain Insight” on the weird immediately “solvable” puzzle in the pink worm.
That’s 4.375 mind blows per minute. That’s a lot of blown minds
That’s a lot of mindjobs
he's a quick shooter

How many mind blows per second is that?

i cant believe this game blew tyler 70 times in 16 minutes!
:flushed:
I should call her
"This game just gets deeper and deeper, just how I like it"
🤨
😳
14:00 Tyler forgetting that he can go backwards for a minute straight and finding awkward moves to never have to go backwards is what made me laugh the mist
ah
you laughed the mist
I wonder if the achievement system keeps track of what mechanics you've learned, and the hint system is a much simpler and isolated puzzle to learn a specific mechanic. Technically you've learned you can make dots by cutting stuff, so because it thought you knew how to make dots, it believed all it needed to teach you was that you can walk on top of a dot like it's another worm.
Usually the hint system just gives you a situation where you are pretty much forced to use the core mechanic (walk on a dot, or sail the letter L in the other level) and then leaves you to find how you can set-up that situation or use that mechanic in the actual level.
God damn this game is so good
It’s so good at introducing new mechanics, something that’s pretty difficult to do well without outright telling the player
Would have been even better at introducing concepts if he hadn't skipped ahead.
@@OriginalPiMan that’s just the thing though
Tyler can skip ahead and still be able to figure things out
That’s a big strength of this game
@@AssJagger
And of him. I'm not terrible at puzzle games, but I don't think I could do that.
After watching someone else tackle a different world after the world's Tyler did prior to this video, this world is ment to introduce the climbing or 3d mechanic, while the cut off worms part was a world he skipped
Idk why but I'm getting vibes of a monsters expedition from this game, probably because the way you discover mechanics is kind of sudden, but that was one of my favorite puzzle games! This one looks awesome as well, thank you for showcasing all these awesome games!
yeah this feels a lot like AME

We may never know.
The fact that Tyler knows who Alex honnold is makes me appreciate his content even more and I didn't think that was possible
This series is saving me at the moment, my algorithm is nothing but terrifying news and drama thank you for blessing it with worms
Thank you for the early birthday present! I’ve been waiting for the next episode because this game is just so damn creative!
happy birthday!!!
i loved the moment when this puzzle game said "it's mindblowing time" and proceeded to blow Tyler 70 times in 16 minutes, very inspirational
📸🤨
These worms got some DAMN GOOD core strength. Like bro be 100 in length and only his tail be on something and he can still stay up like cheesus
can we just take a moment here to appreciate just how much editing effort always goes into these videos
mega props to ben
Tyler is up late at night playing with his worm
No.
Somehow as soon as Tyler mentioned that he was working with 3 different levels on the last puzzle I knew what the solution was. Super cool puzzle!
This game has the most unique mechanics I’ve ever seen. It’s wild how every object has like 10 different uses.
this game might just become the best puzzle game of all time
i have a theory about the meta puzzle. i think that the puzzle token has something to do with what shape you need to put the meta worm into to solve the final puzzle
Tyler's content lately has been so exciting. Every video this past week has been a banger
I knew from the first episode this series would rock. Definitely my favorite series at the moment.
This game is simply amazing, and you are a genius. Love watching you play it!
Perfect timing, i was just checking to see if you uploaded something, and LO AND BEHOLD HE HAS GIVETH!
Definitely excited to see more of this series
love when he forgot he could back up... remembered he could back up... and then used it in the most convoluted way possible
15:30 I love this reaction
I'm expecting it to keep happening, but every single time he learns a new mechanic accidentally by doing something wrong, he always says "Oh maybe I am supposed to learn this now!" and it's funnier every time because the game is setting it up so well.
Beautiful RUclipsr reference, major props to the developers!
The whole progress smell and the trademark and stuff by the editor is too cool to not warrant a comment from me. Good job editor.
This might just be the next Baba, the rates in which this game introduces new mechanics is incredible
In another video's comments Tyler says it's his favorite puzzle game of all time
@@peterpeladon do you know what video?
I was thinking about whether I wanted to play this game myself or just watching you play it. Given the difficulty of the puzzles in this video I am very glad I decided to watch it. It looks amazing but there is no way I'd have been able to solve these puzzles! Thanks for showcasing great games! :)
Holy what a great puzzle game. This is certified classic aliensrock content.
This week has been incredible. Poly bridge 2, Terraria, AND Can of Wormholes? Heck yeah! I've been enjoying watching your videos this week just as much as you've been enjoying recording them lol
Really enjoyed the editing/pacing of the video
Tyler: “so I *was* supposed to learn the cutting here”
Me: no you’re supposed to already know it, you skipped half the game
Love the outer wilds reference
0:12 love the Aliensrock socking exhibit edit
Yess, it's finally time for more!
I've really been enjoying my own time with the game. The insight tips are a very nice touch. Early on like this they very clearly show one new mechanic to know. At 5:24 The Insight was about stepping on the balls. Not knowing yet about splitting/cutting did make it not as helpful but the message still came across. Now the true form of Can of Wormholes becomes clear. It's a ball stepping game.
I just managed to beat Can of Wormholes, and you're in the credits! Congratulations!
Love this series❤
I keep noticing how some puzzles have more than one entry...
I wonder if by rotating the overworld, you can change the position of those "Circle gateways" to make them send you to *_a different_* entry to the same puzzle?
(Or that one inaccessible one)
Thanks for appreciating people with great personalities
Quote from Tyler “this game gets deeper and deeper just how I like it” 😂
i appreciate the edit on the sign
i love the reaction of tyler when these edge cases happens
I was just writing about Outer Wilds music then it’s in the video. Wild
this game developer is an absolute chad fitting all these mechanisms in one game that is only 40M large with all the animations and probably a custom engine
Absolutely fantastic game. I'm going to have to get on patreon just so I can recommend some puzzle games

14:40 While this episode is very entertaining and mind-boggling, I can't believe that Tyler let us smell PROGRESS, I feel like such sudden contact with PROGRESS could be dangerous to people who are not familiar with PROGRESS and it's effects.
Question: What happens if you steer your weird worm ship thing into what I can only assume is the wormhole because you've pushed them in before but you haven't been on one
14:40 progress smells a lot like fire
continue with this game pls!
what a video game, very nice to be able to experience it without bashing your head against the wall because I'm very bad at puzzle games
New favourite tyler series
The hint for the puzzle at 6:30 actually did give help for the solution a bit! It gave you the dot in the middle to walk on as opposed to the worm you’re given, so by cutting your own tail you could’ve learned specifically that it makes a dot and that you can turn the other worm into dots to use to walk on!
It was incredibly cryptic though.. maybe there should’ve been a block behind the fence so that when you cut your tail accidentally while experimenting, it’s more obviously displayed as a dot rather than falling in the water
To be fair, the tail cutting mechanic is supposed to be explained in a world he skipped
4:39 honestly this is so fucking cool, it's like... when you think about it, it makes perfect sense that you only lose when your head's in the water, because then your antenna (or whatever youre using to control the worm) gets submerged so of course its not going to work anymore
and all the other things in this game are like that, its mechanics that youd never think of, until a puzzle shows them to you and youre like "wait what the fuck" but it doesnt even feel like the game's pulling things out of its ass, it all makes perfect sense once you know about it
great video!
recommendation: never utter the words “slob on that worms knob” ever again
This game looks amazing and I would play it myself but I'm a little too stupid for that. Instead I'll just watch Tyler play it :D
Day 102 of asking Tyler to cosplay as a Peglin for his loyal fans
What a cool game. I love the integration of new ideas in puzzles
oh my gosh the worms are escaping
They cannot be contained!
incredible game
Thanks! ❤
Watching Tyler's brain ooze from his ears is nightly tradition
Rockin' those fingerless gloves, my guy. :)
Another great upload of my new favorite game!
A certified Aliensrock clasic
This is the best fucking puzzle game I've ever seen, I need to check if Tyler has a series on the witness or not
He does
Felt like 14:10 was like an advanced lockpicking tutorial lol
6:19 I think this is World 4 instead of World 3, so it’s possible that a new mechanic was missed.
Seeing outer wilds at the beginning was a shock to me
tyler's genius is showing again 😂 this is like the game with the snakes and fruit i think
This game is a certified banger
If Tyler had 16 minutes with me he would get blown more than 70 times.
I love your gloves, they’re great
OUTER WILDS REFERENCE IN THE FIRST 20 SECONDS LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The thing I hate the most about those episodes is, that they are far too fast over and then we have to wait, what feels like an eternity, for the next bit. I would love to bing watch it but I can't bring myself from abstaining for too long to build up a good amount of episodes :D
The editor is already popping off in the first 12 seconds of the video by making an entire plaque for a single second gag
interesting game. I would play this if I could.
good video tyler
this game is awesome
Thank you!
I would love for you to try out mindustry!
Mind blowing
Puzzleing hard with the fingerless gloves
This game reminds me of Stephen's Sausage Roll so much

Nice Gloves
That last puzzle was a flying machine like in minecraft.
yo tyler i love your gloves
i have super cold hands so i always wear a pair just like that
The Fingerless gloves go hard tho
Refreshed 40 times before I got here
Real civil engineer pushed me to this channel. He played like 5 puzzles and then stopped the whole entire game. I like how you actually have the whole game of multiple games on your channel. He keeps fucking off the game.
"cause im thinkin what if i slop on this worms knob"
Wow! Can’t believe the snake blew Tyler 70 times in 16 minutes
14:42 Can't you just back up here to get back on the block?
10 seconds in and i see an outer wilds reference.. what i wouldn't give to see him play it
