So you cannot actually upload a 3d model? that's what I was expecting, at least some low poly models would be cool. I had the idea to make some perspective illustrations, but that would be a pain if I have to manually place all the planes...

@@Felipehez It is not that hard, you just need to render in multiple layers but yeah, that is far form practical or even attractive to use. At the moment, this app works perfectly for illustrators or graphic designers

I love the new Artivive 3D features! I'd love to see a LIVE video feature added in the future.
For instance, someone could stream live video recorded on green screen in a studio and link that feed to a physical location for app users to view. For instance, a newscaster could report on an urgent situation in Boston, USA (from their studio) but appear in augmented reality in Miami, USA for people with the Artivive app.
that's not 3d, it's simply 2d-planes arranged in a parralax manner, what a scam and timewaste. better start investing your time into game engines like unity or unreal before dumping your precious time with this bullshit
Arthur Novotny as someone who knows very little about how to animate and model 3D, Artivive is amazing for AR. We used it in a major public setting in Boston and people loved it!
For anyone who doesn’t know, to make custom AR work, you’ll need a massive skill set in 3D modeling, animation, and programming custom mobile apps.
Artivive is the simplest, fastest way to create AR I’ve found right now.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, for the time being, what Artivive does is to allow artists to add 2D assets in a 3D space, scale them up, move, and rotate. It is great that there are many solutions out there that people, with different levels of designing capabilities, can choose from. We target more artists who have small or no developer skills so that even they can take advantage of the benefits that augmented reality can bring to their art.

This is genius! Very impressed. I have one stupid question, if you have a painting in an art gallery, and want to let people in the gallery have the experience of viewing the painting in motion, is it necessary that the app is installed on their phone? Also, if there is a person who made a motion on the same painting just for fun, how will the program recognize what motion to play? Really believe that this is a very futuristic tool that will give the artists the opportunity to create amazing things!

People who want to scan the art should have the app installed on their phones - however, in a gallery, you can always provide them a device with which they can scan.

Thanks. We made the video using a green layer as a background and the clouds with a transparent layer :)
Hi I love your product, so flexible for different devices. One question, Im guessing transparent Alpha MOV are not supported on the basic account right? You only have the green screen route right ? I would love a FAQ but for technical info.

How does the artist make the motions in the 3D Test project.
Hi, you can add up to 3 video layers in 3d pro mode. Also, there are buttons on the lower left-hand side of the 3d grid which you can use to adjust the position, rotate, or scale each layer. Please watch the videos in our Artivive tutorial playlist to learn more.
I already did a project and it turn out great, but unfortunately it's not let me put any audio to my work :( What should i do?
Hey there :) If you are uploading a video file, than the audio should be already embeded in the video. If you are using GIF, you should have the space to upload additional MP3. In case you are not seeing this, reach out to us at support@artivive.com :)
@@ArtiviveApp yes, the option to add audio with a gif animation was indeed there, but it didn't work. An error message popped up so I tried a several more times, but nothing worked.

Hey Francisco! Yes, in order for other people to see your AR artwork, they need to use our app - it is free to download both for iOS and Android devices! :)
What API are these based on? Is that based on Wikitude API?

You can test your artwork once you have created the project on Bridge :)
I miss the option to add an objectfile :D

Hi Mononoke, yes Artivive connects your artwork with a digital layer. The digital assets (videos and images) can be also placed in the space around the artwork with the 3D/PRO mode. Check out our manual to find some links to tutorials or free video footage: artivive.com/manual

The background music was so annoying! FYI if we are looking at a tutorial video an intro/outro music is OK but the same 8 bar loop repeated for 6 minutes is mind crushingly awful!

Hi Brigitta! You can, up to 3 times, get 1 free project for each friend who activates an account. Until May 31, we actually have a contest: the user with the most invited friends who activate an account will get 100 free projects :) About the monthly subscription, you can cancel your paid account. Just let us know by emailing support@artivive.com and it will be reflected on the next billing :)

After test product. I don't recommend Artivive. I found problems slow loading and financial policies is not good.

Many of our users are artists who have no experience with 3D models and they find Artivive to be a useful, easier, more accessible tool. But please follow us, we will integrate 3D assets soon. We're working to find the best format and UX for our editor.
